Wouldn't be surprised if Ronnie B did that in one take... the man is a comedy genius.

😂
@@lynnelang3184😂
Probably right, he was a genius with wordplay
The Two Ronnies in their hay day regularly got 18 million viewers in the UK.
They were national treasures and very talented.
Nick: "I hate repetition... I hate a lot of stuff but... I hate repetition" 🤣🤣
I see what I did there. Not intentional
You can say that again!
You can say that again!
You can say what again?
You can say what again?
Ronnie Barker was famous for only requiring one take for anything. Aired on TV from 1971 to 1987.
You often ask for things on Britbox to watch... Porridge. Stars Ronnie Barker and one of our most beloved sitcoms.
The SAME Ronnie as the Wordsmith here:)
So glad to know!! Thank you!
Two Ronnies: Orthodox Jew insurance against Catholicism sketch is not disrespectful to either religion, it's just clever. BTW, the show is done in front of a studio audience so it was one take.
Great stuff. I'm of prime TR viewing age (in my early 60s) and had always imagined I'd seen them all because I was a huge fan as a kid, but this passed me by so thanks guys.
The two Ronnies are from an era where wit and wordplay were the best way to make people laugh .
You definitely need to watch the Jewish insurance, it's not offensive but it is hilarious
Yeah... I agree jj... All they have to do is react to the clip on camera... And if they still think that it's too much for them to upload... Then they don't upload it... But don't dismiss it out of hand because you think it's going to be offensive... It's a hilarious clip... And i'm sure that no section of a diverse society... Would find it offensive in the least... The Two Ronnies were much loved wholesome family entertainers... Their perception of this clip is just so wrong... Judging a book by it's cover instead of reading it... Isn't fair at all... Simply react to the clip on camera... And see for yourself... It's that easy!... It's not exactly rocket science guys!.
I loved The Two Ronnies but also check out Open All Hours starring Ronnie Barker. Please check out Morecambe and Wise another great British duo especially with Andrè Previn
The original series not the newer one made a few years ago, not as good IMO.
This show ran from 1971 to 1987.
I thought it would take a while to perfect that tongue twister though 16 years is stretching it a bit..
Ronnie Corbett has been on WILTY, he’s one Rob Brydon’s great voice impressions 😂
Have a look out for the 2 Ronnies library sketch, where books are arranged in a very unusual way!
Ronnie C breaks the repeat, Ronnie B says i fix u, C says i fox u
Might be interesting to listen to some of Ronnie Corbetts monologues - He used to just sit in a rocking chair and make a 1 minute ficticious story last 5 or 10 minutes with endless digressions. He was most famous for being vertically challenged.
Val Doonican sat in a rocking chair, Ronnie sat in an armchair. 😉
@@elemar5 Of course, you're right! Old age fuzzing my memory.
@@stephenbrough8132 Old age? I remember Val Doonican fgs. 😆
@@elemar5 I remember Val Doonican's Dad but not his furniture lol.
The Jewish Insurance Sketch is not offensive its just funny.
Wagga Wagga is in NSW, Australia. I've been there 😂
And its simply known as Wagga
Sing this song slowley then faster. 'Suzie, Suzie sitting in a shoe shine shop. All day long she sits and shines. All day long she shines and sits.' I would love to record your attempts at that. Ha!Ha!Ha!🧸🧸🐶
You need to do the one where it's mastermind and the guy answers the question before
Episode aired 25 September 1976
Sacrilege Jodie, not you favourite? Here's a few Gems.. 'Racing Duck' , 'Mastermind' , 'Pronunciation Problems', 'Swedish Made Simple', 'Fun At The Opticians', 'Your Nuts m'Lord', 'Accoutant Bore', 'Drunken Wedding Speech', 'The Tortoise', 'Bert And Charle Christmas', 'Swear Box' 'Spoonerisms' 'Drinks Order', 'My Blackberry Isn't Working', ....then the Musical Monalogues, 'Slim Pickman And Dolly Parton', 'Plumstead Ladies Choir', 'Bold Sir John', 'Aldershot Brass Ensamble', 'Jehosophat And Jones In Concert', Cleaning Ladies' ,..Legends..
Oh, i just thought of something! A good thing to watch! Not even for a reaction vid or anything, maybe just for enjoyment, and as a window into the culture of Great Britain. It's called Oz and James Drink to Britain. A third (i think) season in the Oz and James adventures (S1 drinking in france, S2 the same but in USA). It was so much fun, and i learnt so much.
btw: all 3 seasons of this show are great...
The internet tells me this sketch is from 1976.
I identify as an Ostrich and I have every right to do so :) And there it is, the world really gone mad but I like to bury my head in the sand lol. Love the two Ronnies
I would strongly recommend the Cockney rhyming slang sermon by the Two Ronnies.
Very clever comedic sketch. who is with me!
Knowing Ronnie Barker,he,probably did it in one.
Check out their Argentinian racing pigeon sketch.
She's saying the word, mate. Warranty is not a single syllable sludgemungle. Never give someone a hard time for enunciation correctly. 😃
Shouldn't that be "enunciating correctly?"...:)
These are 1970s and possibly very early 1980s.
The tall man with the mustache is Ronnie Barker... you probably recognize him from the Two Ronnies!
The jewish insurance one is so silly that it is harmless
I have worked with endless Jewish people in Finance and at The Racetrack since 1971 so 53 years now and and it is spot on:)
Ronnie Corbett was only 5'1" the Two Ronnie's ran from 10 April 1971 to 25 December 1987
Swear jar or Swedish for beginner's
that next video is fine its just silly
The next Jewish/Catholic sketch is brilliant and no spoilers but the phrase "Are you comfortable" can ALSO mean "Are you , financially, comfortable"...
PLEASE do it ,Guys.
The orthodox jew Catholicism sketch isn't rascist or offensive in any way, being as it is The Two Ronnies it's a very clever sketch.
I suggest you react to the Jewish Insurance sketch, it isn't offensive at all and quite funny. Plus you aren't doing the reactions live so you can always film it and judge for yourself but I certainly think once you have seen it you will find it ok to post.
The next scetch you mentioned is a good one, and anyway, if you ever reacted to something bad, just don't upload it. 🤷♂️
I do not get the cancel culture?
On the racism and comedy issue, if you haven't already done so, look up "Love thy Neighbour", an old British sitcom about race relations. This ridiculed the racist bigot but would never be allowed today because of the free use (even in that context) of racial epithets.
Nice reaction guys, I think your extra intro has lost its way, I find it difficult to believe you can't say what you want in the land of the free !!!
Apart from Tommy Cooper THE BEST EVER in the UK
Hey guys big game tomorrow- India-England in Guyana. It's a slow low pitch, I'm here for the match, my first time in South America. What will happen? Also maybe South Africa will win their first World Cup. Don't talk to me about Australia, they were embarrassing
I think there has always got to be a truth behind something you making a joke about but it's taken to a point of absurdity that it just becomes funny something that Lee Evans is extremely good at.
However someone will always get offended no matter what. 🙄
this woke crap does my swede in. some people are "offended" by anything or everything. esp on someone else's behalf. its comedy. it comes from a good or bad place. i dont go out of my way to deliberately upset anyone. not at all. but i wont be told, what i can or cant say, by ANYONE. and this is what the majority think, theyre just too scared to say so. if we all took this stance, this rubbish would just disappear
You two arguing at the beginnings, is getting a bit boring.
Can you pronounce Ronnies correctly?
These yanks dont understand this type of comedy
That's very disrespectful! Don't follow them, no need to be rude.
Woke just means not an evil racist and bigot. It's worrying that you talk as if being woke is weird or wrong. Don't assume the UK is less woke. Here, woke is the default. We don't discuss it much, because the jtter assembled generations ago.
I have never thought of it as that. Obviously I don’t think I’m a racist. I think of woke as someone who goes with the new political trends without really knowing what they are or what they stand for but to make sure they fit in.
Woke is weird and wrong, and it certainly isn't the default, if you knew more than five people you'd know that. Waiting for your attack to prove me right
Nah, the woke brigade believe in cancellation, harassment, and demanding people who just want to be left alone kowtow to unreasonable, often disgusting ideologies. Everyone barring a small fringe hates bigotry and racism, woke is something else and it's quite creepy.
@@BoringReviews You are right and the average Brit is far less "woke" than citizens of many other Countries.
I was brought up just 2 miles from Brixton and Peckham, from 1954 and could write a book on what I witnessed, firsthand, until I left, soon after The Brixton Riots of 1981.
the two ronnies comedy hasn't aged well, i remember as a child thinking it was hilarious but now i cringe at how naff it is
What soFisticated comedy are you into now then?
Divorced man ? When ....? as I would love to marry Jodie !!! By the way Jodie I live in the south west of England the really beautiful part of the country. Its not known as the English Riviera for mothing !!!
Little creepy and messed up to be honest. Even as a joke
