Give her a gentle but big hug from this 'granny' to your 'granny.' What full and busy few days you all have had preparing for your Thanksgiving and time with family. I love when you all are working together in the kitchen - that is what being a family is all about! What a feast you prepared and love those picture holders and the 'memories' they now hold. If ya changed your channel where you used a studio, it would not be the same. The sounds are part of what makes your channel cause I can tell that it is real. I did a deer ham almost like Matt did but I started it in the smoker, then moved it to the Dutch oven but I didn’t think of the honey and I think that would be a great improvement. Love the wood carvings of ducks, cardinal, and chicken in the window.

But what makes yours special is that they aren't just recipes. They're about real life in a family in Appalachia, including people coming and going. You can't be all things to all people. What you do better than anyone is being Tipper and Matt and the whole family, being who you genuinely are. That's a special gift. Let the people who like videos which look like they're filmed in a studio watch videos filmed in a studio. You do you. That's what the rest of us like.
I just read Miss Cindy's comment on the dressing recipe on November, 2013. She said she was sure her Dad got some of the recipe from his mother Dollie Sharp, who was a very good cook. Miss Cindy, Happy Thanksgiving in heaven today.

Now this is how I remember Thanksgiving used to be. I was wanting to go spend Thanksgiving at the facility with hubby, but I was there yesterday for several hours & ended up having to spend the day in bed. First time in 48 years hubby & I haven't been together on Thanksgiving. But we talked twice on the phone but that's just not the same. Of course, I ended up crying when we prayed before we hung up. A young lady our daughter-in-love works with sent us a whole meal for today! It was so good and I pray God blesses her greatly. Our daughter-in-love will have 3 of her kids here this weekend, she has to work tomorrow, so she'll be fixing a meal on Sunday. I think our biological grandson will be here too which will be amazing! One of our bonus grandsons stays here in the house with me after school & work, but thats not til late at night which is fine. I love them all dearly. I hope & pray I get to visit hubby Friday & then again Sunday. I have to go for my MRI Saturday so not looking forward to that. Thanks so much for your prayers and for sharing your life with us. Watching you and your family plan, cook, serve, and clean after dinner reminded me of our family's many Thanksgivings gone by. Some bittersweet memories because, like you, some are no longer with us. So glad Granny completed her treatments and rang the bell. Wish she had felt well enough to celebrate with you and family, but I also understand the profound fatigue that comes with cancer treatment. Tipper, we like your channel the way it is, real and natural, no fake studio please, there's enough of that on all the other channels, i never miss yours or the girl's channel because i can relate to them so well, i don't watch many channels but always watch yours and the girls, very enjoyable and relaxing, a good way to get away from this crazy world we live in and back to good times I like how the girls aren't afraid to eat good food like deer and greenbeans and home-made and home grown food, young people today won't eat anything that doesn't come in a bag, box or can, it sad because they don't know what they're missing, so please keep doing what you're doing 😊 P.S. I called it a while ago when i said Matt was starting to crack😂, look at him now!

Tipper, we like your channel the way it is, real and natural, no fake studio please, there's enough of that on all the other channels, i never miss yours or the girl's channel because i can relate to them so well, i don't watch many channels but always watch yours and the girls, very enjoyable and relaxing, a good way to get away from this crazy world we live in and back to good times
I like how the girls aren't afraid to eat good food like deer and greenbeans and home-made and home grown food, young people today won't eat anything that doesn't come in a bag, box or can, it sad because they don't know what they're missing, so please keep doing what you're doing 😊

Tipper, my husband made your rolls for our Thanksgiving lunch today. He made them ahead and froze. Everyone loved them. We still have some in the freezer for another meal.

What makes your channel special,Tipper & Matt, is that you're just yourselves and don't put on any airs. Can't imagine anyone rude enough to complain about the way you stage your videos, but if they're distracted by other people on camera, they need to go watch a professional cooking show. Your food preparation is enjoyable and interesting, but the main thing is feeling a part of the family, whether there is just Tipper, or several of you, on camera. Please don't change a thing.
