Who's all for a remake of this, with PROPER glitch-free gameplay, NO Elise, and a REWRITTEN story with less plot holes involving time travel? The visual and audio quality of this game just screams, "MAKE ME AWESOME!!!"

I think the story would be great if they switched out Elise with lets say, Sally from the comics with her personality from the comics.

***** I would rather SEGA make HD remakes of GOOD games rather spend time fixing a game such as 06.
They'd have to do more than fix glitches.
They'd have to remove the short cooldown between Homing Attacks, make Sonic move MUCH faster, improve Shadow's gameplay, either remove vehicles, or give us a huge amount of freedom AND destructable environments, make Silver faster and allow him to lift ANYTHING on screen.
Of course then you have the upgrade system, bring that back.
As well as being able to go Super Sonic.
Story was the least of 06's issues, but it was one of them. Keep Elise, but make her MEANINGFUL. Sonic can have a human love interest, it's not that big a deal. The deal was that Elise was as interesting as a cardboard cutout with nipples pasted on it. There was NO chemistry between the two. They could have added some.
And the biggest improvement... NO JASON GRIFFITH!
Everyone was like, "But he wasn't too bad by Unleashed". No, he was shit all he way through. He's the second worst voice Sonc has ever had, people just got USED to how shitty he was, and knew he wasn't going to improve at ALL.
Originally the developers were going to make the game far better both gameplay mechanics & visuals wise.
Also; with the first look videos it was shown that Sonic was supposed to not only be played much faster, but was meant to be capable of going into his super form nearly all the time like a total badass.
You gotta admit though; the voice actor for Dr. Ivo Robotnik / Eggman gave the best overall character performance.

You want the complete experience? Play Sonic Project 06. It's still in-progress, but it is vastly superior to the actual game.
Mike Pollock. He survived 2 VA purges, and has played the character in the Sonic X anime, and in the games, he starred from Shadow all the way up to Frontiers.
He IS Eggman.

The only real problem I had with the game are the LOAD TIMES. Fix that, and 06 will be my favorite Sonic game easily.

With the PS4 and Xbox One, I think they could remake this game with grahpics surpassing the pre rendered cinematics. They could also iron out everything.

Damn right it was! I loved every bit of it. Except that one level with Rouge where you had to grab the emeralds within 5 mins. (Never again...) And the main theme there was, is (and probably will forever be) my favourite theme out of all Sonic games (Live and Learn!)
Sonic'06 i have seen a little amount of glitches in it but it was one of my most favorite games as a child and I wouldn't change my mind everyone. All it needs is to remaster.

Why sonic adventure 3. Shadow died in the 2 one, that would be a loop hole that wouldn't make any sense no matter what.

Sega should make another game just like sonic 06 (but without no damn Elise) this time let's say that all three hegehogs past (shadow) future (silver) present (sonic) are all gathering the events that had happened making it possible for them to go into each others different dimesions or time by using all seven chaos emeralds. When they all used them there could be a time warp when all the bosses from every sonic game you ever played comes back. Now that is just my remake of the game (man I wish it came true already)

That'll never happen, the concept is too out there while something similar has been used for previous games at the same time (Dimensions and Generations).
Maybe an '06 remake with a readjusted story or a game revolving around the 3 hedgehogs (with an original story or one loosely related to '06)

Although i may see the Point, but it needs some good ideas but Like Sensei says it has too far out of a concept like he said but maybe with more Skills modern Sonic/Silver/Shadow Endures and Adding in Adventure Shadow, Paramount Sonic (And baby Paramount sonic???), and the Younger Silver (Although i Comeplelty Doubt Paramount can be Placed in another good game...)

This will always be Sonic’s number one theme to me. I wish they used it more in recent games.
Oh Sonic '06, the game you could have been, with all of the early trailers and development stuff we've seen, this easily could have been the best Sonic game ever, but it got rushed so much to meet next gen and it soiled what could have been an amazing game

Remake? All for it. No glitches, possibly rewritten story, and maybe no loading screen every two seconds. I loved parts of this game, but it was just so broken overall, I couldn't handle it.

To be honest using a youtube to mp3 converter would be useless if you want the best audio quality, since the bit rate for the audio of this video goes up to 192 kpbs instead of 320 kpbs.

This is a fantastic, sharp, and clear extended hd remix of the smash brothers version (as best as I can tell). since every one is expressing their opinion on the game, I guess i will, too. The game had so much potential, and unfortunately because of the bugs, it tended to hiccup (after all it was an unfinished product). :( too bad, too.
Like any other Sonic game, it follows the rules of "if you're new you're gonna suck; once you've practiced you're gonna be awesome!!". Unfortunately it's arguably the hardest sonic game ever, mostly because of it's bugs. (I can't tell you how many times sonic randomly flew off screen for no apparent reason until i realized that at that speed these physics actually make sense and i need to fricken think fast and muscle memory everything.... and then something glitchy happens for no reason and I die and i walk away frustrated).
if the team had the time to patch it up it would have been something like a prettier sonic adventure (which was also a chore, but totally a blast once you got the hang of it). Poor sonic has had his speed bumps in the road, but that's not gonna stop me from believing!
