Thanks, the good music and the good musicians still exist ..... you are a sample of it .... and what a great band ...... thanks again for your music....
The very definition of "blue-eyed soul" singing. My wife and I first laid eyes and ears on Michael McDonald in April 1974, when Steely Dan's "Pretzel Logic" tour played Toledo, Ohio. His voice and keyboards prowess were a revelation that night, and when Becker & Fagen stopped touring after July of that year we gladly followed Michael and guitarist Jeff "Skunk" Baxter over to The Doobie Brothers who we saw every chance we got. My only gripe, Michael, is that you toured with Steely Dan in 2006 and couldn't get Fagen to perform "Any World (That I'm Welcome to)." For my money, that is your finest vocal collaboration with him, and the most exhilarating vocal outro to any Steely Dan recording.
Michael your brilliant I saw you in Columbus Ohio years ago in the hot sun worried about you that day but you look fabulous now and I'm glad your well I've loved your songs and productions for years even if I didn't know who wrote and produce I could always recognize your songs loved the Toto years keep on going hope to hear more from you in the near future thanx from all of us Michael
I saw him in Oct in N.C. and it was wonderful Front row seat. He sounds just as crisp and he still looks good at 65...One of a kind voice. I was just in awe. It was hard to believe I was that close to him...The album is wonderful, with him writing all of them. Different from the usual, and much more personal. His wife was with him. If you get the chance go see him. You won't regret it.
Michael's voice is so amazing that he could sing the phone book and we would love it.❤ He is so very talented. We are so lucky to have him around and youtube to listen to his music.
The sound of his voice and his music never cease to amaze me. It takes me back to feel good memories to wild spirit days young and free into emotional endearing memories. God bless your heavenly gift. ❤️🎁🙏🎶
