You know the camera focuses on you when you do selfie poses, so the lighthouse and ruins were hopelessly out of focus in the intro, right? I know it's kind of your job to be in the video, but ...
Sableagle that’s why the b roll and Drone is there. We’ll have a wider angle lens soon though, so more of the background and less of our faces when we’re talking 👍
I discovered yutube channel for 2 days and I adore you, especially on you happy redhead. I love the voyages of travel. I like the most to you that you are always cheerfully positive and you translate beyond this acran. I'm glad you made a tour of our country. From Romania all the best.
As a Canadian I can honestly say Scotland really is amazing. 5 years ago my family took a trip from Glasgow to Inverness through Loch Ness. Then we went back south to Edinburgh. Best 2 weeks of my life, no joke.
I love seeing people explore and experience Scotland 🏴 it might sound weird but I feel proud of my home country and being Scottish when I see videos like this 🏴
Guys, I really like your videos. The production is excellent, but more importantly, you are both very likeable. You both are a very refreshing change to the majority of travel bloggers.
hi guys, welcome to scotland... again. i have been watching your videos for a while. you are so professional in how you deliver your info. you defo deserve your own travel show!!!! keep up the good work
It's so beautiful there. So sorry you're so sick. I can see you're struggling through these episodes but you can't hide the pain you're in. Anyway, love Gin and Lobster, so I'm hooked on this destination :) You guys define what a foodie is, meaning that you honestly live your taste experiences much like Mark Wiens does. All but different but still truthful. Safe travels, James and Kim
I just discovered your channel and have binge watched several countries! Excellent! You two are the "eatingest" couple I have ever seen and you guys make me hungry with each video! Hope you are both well and safe journeys! Thanks from Atlanta!
It's so surreal watching you just down the road from where I grew up! I hope you're having a wonderful time! (Still recommend pilgrim gin, which is from St Andrews!)
Y’all should live in Scotland! Outside of Eric feeling a wee bit under the weather, you two looked perfectly at home. I’ve loved your Scotland trip thus far. I may be a bit partial. My family is from Dundee. Safe travels. Looking forward to more. ❤️
I'm really sorry you guys lost another Go-Pro. I think you really should get those "tile" things that you hook or glue onto your important possessions and when you get a certain distance from the "tiled" item it makes your cell phone sound an alert. It gives you a fighting chance to get your stuff back before you get too far away to retrieve them.
I'd rather watch you guys enjoy the experience of food from around the world than some TV celebrity chef. youtube food connoisseurs are so 21st century. Too many times we hear of the bad things that happen in the world regarding the human race on TV. It's nice to see youtubers fly the flag for the good things that happen in the world in human terms. FOOD tasting from around the world 😍 is good. What an adventure. Hello from me sitting somewhere in Glasgow Scotland. 👌
I totally agree. This approach is much more interesting. Too many celebs making tired and tedious travel programmes on TV. They should learn that many of us are bored of this celeb culture. Most of them are so rich and live on their bubble, when you see them on travel shows, you just don't trust the show at all. Sick of them to be honest. I have no idea however, how these guys fund all these trips. I understand their equipment etc... Is sponsored, but otherwise must cost so much. The food alone costs loads. I hope their not just spoilt rich kids. I don't think they are, they seem quite genuine.
History of the tower - Lady’s Tower at Elie Ness was designed and built around 1760 for Lady Janet Anstruther who used it for changing before going for her daily swim. A bell was rung to warn the locals to stay away while she bathed. Her own private changing room!
Enjoy your videos so much and it's great to see you enjoying more of the UK! Definitely get super hungry especially watching you both tuck into lobster, damn that looked good. Thanks for being the cheerful legends that you are, we love ya.
Thanks for posting vlog of Fife. The lobster looked fantastic. I love St Andrews. I used visit there as a youngster. The beach there is beautiful. To fly a kit or watch the sand yachting just go for a walk. Thanks again.
I am always confused when I hear the word "overheard". Literally translated into German it means "überhören". Which means that you haven't heard something. 😅 I am so glad that I never stop learning.
Sometimes i skip forward to the part where there is food cuz i am such a big foodie!!!! I really admire you. Lots of hugs from a romanian living in Italy speaking english 😁🤗🤗
Have to say, I`m enjoying your Scottish trip as much as you two are, its epic, so glad you like my country. Thumbs up to visitscotland.com for their sponsorship, both of you are great ambassadors for Fife and the East Nuke !
I guess you've already got other stuff planned but Hull fair is on this week. It is one of the largest traveling fairs in Europe and is over 700 years old. There's a wikipedia page if you're interested!
It's because it's kinda weird (at least in the UK) to film yourself at a restaurant where people are eating. I would probably be uncomfortable if I was in shot of someone's video.
Scottish Gin accounts for 70% of the uks full Gin output. Be sure to try some other varieties with different botanicals before you leave. That Cullen Skink looks amazing.
X Really? That’s surprising, the big names for volume are mostly English I thought. Unless the spirit they buy in comes from Scotland. Sorry I’m no expert just interested.
X 1 second ago Well big names don't mean much as you probably know. As far as 'London' Dry Gin goes, for example Gordons, is made is Scotland. Big in the 70s and the cheapest you can get now. But I'm on about 2018 and what's happening now. So here is a good link if you're interested > www.visitscotland.com/see-do/food-drink/gin-tours-tastings/scottish-gin-facts/
I catch lobsters for a living off the coast of Maine, you better like them. Matter of fact I'm making lobster risotto for dinner tonight. I love your videos keep up the good work!
Handy place to eat, I guess if you had a line you could chuck it over the side and see if you could hook another lobster (although I think they catch them in pots), you might get a nice plaice or sea bass though.
I like lobster thermidor, and that lobster dish you had reminded me of it (and made me hungry). We know Eric doesn't have a very good record with water sports (a damaged tailbone proves that), it was good to see he's ok :D
It's quite obvious that you both enjoy the travelling and are deeply in love! So how much longer will you travel the world until you settle down again and maybe start a family etc?
That was a tiny lobster and yes,you should, have ordered the whole so each can have half as its mostly shell. But some places can order by size (lb) of lobster also and that would as taste different sometimes when bigger. Lobster roll, lobster salad, lobster boil, lobster only, lobster bisque, lobster mac and cheese. Yummy! Get as much as you can for as cheap as you can. Boston easy to get lobster stuff since its plenty
Fife coast is beautiful Cullen skink yum u can't have it without the leeks it's sooo good, was going to say try the Cullen skink and hey there u go uv had it the best 😊
Bookatable and Open table UK were life savers in Scotland. In the bigger cities we would book for dinner in the morning when we got up haha. I want lobster so bad now.
That meal looked truly mouth watering, they fish for lobster where I lived but it all gets shipped off somewhere. Pity there weren't any dolphins around to join you in your kayaking.
Golf was actually invented in St Andrews. Hence why the golf course in St Andrews is one of the most famous in the world and is called “The Home Of Golf”
I found you through Kara and Nate, and I love your channel too! One question... How on Earth are you not huge with all the wonderful food and beverage you enbibe! LOL, oh to be young again ...
Oo Oo I went to St Andrews a few years ago for a day trip when I was at conference in Edinburgh. It was a tough-ish kind of a drive there, but what a place!
I assume those who hit "Dislike" did so by mistake. What happened; meant to click "Like" and then a sudden movement or twitch made you shudder?!. It's the only explanation I can come up with for the 40 showing (at the time of writing) because these little dispatches are a delight. Great work you two - keep it up.
Hi there, You ate Lobster that my Fishing friend Gregor lands just up the road in Anstruther from his Boat. He's a good guy and lives in St Monan's too. Most likely it was his Lobster you ate, i also help land for him at times. Steve i Fife.

That looked delicious 😊 must travel to Scotland again 😄
You need to come up towards Aberdeen area 👌 amazing things to do that way
You guys should try to get endorsed by GoPro. They sponsor a lot of people
You have been so lucky with the weather.
Glad you liked my home village of St Monans its a beautiful spot as is the whole of the East Neuk of Fife.

I noticed her staring too.

I am from Fife, born in St. Andrews, but you are on the wrong coast of Scotland for the best seafood. Try Oban on the west coast next time.
Scottish Gin accounts for 70% of the uks full Gin output. Be sure to try some other varieties with different botanicals before you leave. That Cullen Skink looks amazing.

True. Alnwick castle also

Great video and an enjoyable watch.
Superb drone skillz
Never been to St Andrews and now I want to go there. Great Video as usual.
St Monans is a lovely little fishing village. We stayed there for a week in autumn 2001 and it was wonderful.
Another great video....starting to feel like I know u guys even tho I’ve never met you lol also great editing in the videos 👍🏻 happy travelling ❣
Make sure to try Steak Pie! Great video as usual!
Have you tried an Arbroath Smokie yet, if not you definitely should. Thanks for the great videos.
So lucky with the weather
Cullen skink is the best chowder in the world. Scotland has some truly amazing produce! 😋👍
The most famous food in Eastern Scotland is the Arbroath Smokie, a smoked haddock or cod. You should defo try it!
I love your videos they always cheer me up. Can't wait to watch the next one!
Loving your videos I'm addicted!
Our favorite on our road trip way way back was Dover Sole. Baked or broiled .... yummy 😋
What a feast! Those tacos look amazing 😍
Another great video.
Omg I'm drooling

Glad you are enjoying Scotland. You should do the NC 500 next
This looks like a lovely place
Been to East Pier Smokehouse before such a lovely spot when the sun is shining and a Gin and Tonic in hand :)
I was fishing off the rocks behind that lighthouse just last week.
You have a life of riley just always on holiday its so interesting you enjoy so much i love the food too.

Did you hit the student return in St Andrews? Maybe that’s why it was so busy.

The best part of the lobster is the claw meat and if you don't mind working for a tiny bit, the swimmerettes also have sweet meat.
