hi - my PL-200 is stuck in an infinite auto return loop: the arm pops up and down, and it won't stay in playing position. I had not used it in a long time, i played a couple records, with no issue, except that the auto return did not work, I had to manually moved the arm back initial position at the end of the record... then i did press the cut button to see if that would activate the rerun, but it did not. perhaps by doing it got stuck in that mode? any suggestions on corrective steps? thanks much.
Dumb question, but did you spray Deoxit on the speed control or WD-40? I have the same turntable with the same issue and looking to get it spinning well. Thanks!
The PL-200 is a great device.
Thanks for watching!
I have 400 pl. only 33 rpm gives jerk speed . Its quartz locked. Is the ic gone? Or some caps? Thanks in advance
Not sounding too promising...I'd suspect a bum IC...if there are any adjustment pots you may try to clean them.

I suspect something is bound (probably by old grease) underneath.

I use Contact Cleaner that is a WD-40 product, NOT WD-40. CRC, Faderlube, or any non-residue cleaner should be used.
