the 208THP has valvetronic exhaust I'm sure! I may stand corrected... Engine in the facelift version 2015 (65) on... I got one and I absolutely adore it. Yes, a Golf R and S3 will breeze by it but you'll pay almost triple the price and everyone has one. I have a grey GTi. at 225hp and weighing ~1170kg (confirmed weight), it's such a little headturner, very modest, humble and I absolutely love it. The prestige with glass sunroof, folding mirrors, sat nav, heated seats the whole works is only around £9k! Will take on the much adored (although heavier and less hp) fiesta ST too!
Also I took a Golf R from the lights, an Astra GTC looked like it didn't even try, and the Merc A200 AMG (240hp 4WD) from the lights just barely passed me. It's so light and has decent power/weight stock. The pre-facelift THP200 I test drove was a little 'bleh' on power through mid-high rev btw, THP208 has more tq and hp. I've owned every gen pug since 206 and the build quality on the 308's and 208's are a huge improvement. Only issues I had has been suspension, which I'm not sure may be down to road quality up here? Honestly, I've replaced my shocks twice since I bought it 18 months ago, admittedly a tad excessive. It'll take quite some time to shake that poor reliability rep that pugs and citreon's have built up though haha. It'll depreciate considerably more than a VAG car, something to consider. Imo, it evens out with the great value vs other cars. Hope this helps anyone looking at a 208 GTi, if I can help, reply your comment and I'll help you out as much as I can and try to be as unbias too lol. All the best everyone.
hello, a splendid job. I have some questions: I have a 208GTi phase 1 of the year 2014 ... I have enough hardware in it, I want to install the Downpipe without a catalyst, I already buy it. my question specifies to this creation you escape in 2 and 1/2 inches, without central silencer? Is it necessary to do a "remap" to get the most out of the exhaust and not have check engine lights on?
hey, yeah it's the TRC. fibreglass with a rubber(?) layer finish. I think it adds a subtle look, finishes the car nicely and gives the illusion of lower to ground. May mess with top speed, I max out at 130mph (anyone?) can only think this may be the detrimental cause. this is my car with the TRC splitter prnt.sc/rxxjqx ^ i am in middle of editing photo in PS btw easy to install and I paid ~£120
Hi Mark the car has a turbo back exhaust 2.5" the down pipe was already on and we build a premium mid section back call our office as there discounts if your on the 208 gti owners club
A 208 GTi ECU remapped to 255 BHP is not power? Are you a fucking idiot? You can get over 150mph out of it, before we even bring acceleration into the equation.
I am lucky I get to see this car everyday out side my house ❤
Just got my 2015 208 GTI few days ago and I can’t stop smiling
Hi they are a awesome little hot hatch
Hey what would it cost to order something similar to Finland?
Want one of these one day. And that exhaust is nasty 😉😂😍

He's got it looking like the facelift on the exterior but the engine is a THP200? What mechanical differences are in the facelift engine (if any)?
