ChickenPicks are bringing a new range of pick designs for 2015 due to be introduced at NAMM (22-25 Jan 2015).
These new picks are part of the Tritone III series and feature two new shapes: Badazz III and Bermuda III, both available in different thicknesses.
It's very exciting to be one of the first people to receive these new picks, before they are officially introduced at NAMM
These new picks join their Original series that features Regular, Light and Shredder models.

I've been using the shredder for a couple of years now. Love it and can't go back to 'regular' picks after using it. Gonna have to check these new ones out. Like the look of the badass III. Cheers for review
y'know what would help when reviewing picks ? If you played a phrase with some of the most commonly used picks and then compared the tone differences with the pick being reviewed. This way we can really see what the differences are.
well well, with all the high quality guitar pick reviews you put out lately, you certainly got me interested now...i need to check my local music store if they have something like those...
and, i just wanted to say, i really like your videos, and am looking forward to the torture test of the dragonhearts picks!!!
also, will it shred needs to continue soon, i wanna see the progress!!
(but i am patient, better take your time and make it good instead of rushing through it!)
The Chicken picks are really good but they still have that plastic vibe. I recently went with metal picks by Zenfire. These things have an actual grip pad and the tone and punch is like putting on a new set of strings, (my strings are 2 years old) amazing!
I love Chicken Picks. I use the Badazz III 2.5mm....gonna try the 3.2 mm soon.
Great tone and the string attack feels very confident, if that makes sense.
Only complaint is they're a bit smooth which can make them feel a bit slippy at times.
CSGuitars I'd love to see an A/B comparison tonally between the Jazz 3 and these picks! Haven't had a whole lot of time to follow lately so I apologize if you've already covered this, but I'd love to see a "blind" comparison of all the picks with everything else the same just to see how the tones vary.
I might have to try that Badazz III. I've been playing Dunlop Little Stubbies in 3.0mm for about a year now and, while I absolutely love the feel and sound of them, they wear out really easily. I've gone through nearly all of them that I got in a big 25 pack since roughly this time last year.
I asked about these locally. The guy at the shop never heard of them, but showed me the Chicken Picker by V-Pick instead. It cost me about $3 US and was worth every penny.
i have the same pick. I never use other picks. I love it
I've been using the sharp purple Tortex for years, and, despite it being cheap compared to other equipment, I'm not sure I'm ready to invest even 8 dollars in something that I'll drop behind the couch in a month and never see again when I could get something I'm familiar with that has proved it's quality already for a lower price.
I think I'm gonna share this with the guys at the Metal Archives. It would make a good conversation starter, and you gain a little publicity. :)
i just recently won a drawing for these and im looking foward to trying them!! :D
Colin you should try Stone Works Guitar picks, the picks are made out of marble.
Carlos Santana still uses triangular picks.
Hey Colin can you please do a review of V-Picks?
My favorite pick is the bermuda 2.7.
Cool. Now what about Turkey picks?
That sound is horrible not the pick but the amp it sounds like you are playing through a 6 inch speaker from radio shack. On a better note what brand of guitar is that? It looks custome made
I'm pretty sure he made that guitar
Where is this guy from?!
Does any of the chicken picks work with bass guitar? If so, which one?
Colin, what do you think of Andy James, regarding his song writing, tone and general playing?
Interesting question.
From all of Andy James' stuff I've seen (and I admit I've not seen a lot) I find his compositions and musical understanding to be exceptionally good for the style of music he plays. When he takes a break from his frankly blistering technical speed and focuses on melody and phrasing then he's probably one of the best within his style.
As with most speed players he can get lost in fast technique, which while looking highly impressive, does very little musically. Fortunately he doesn't do it so much that it loses the over all melodic story of his music.
His tone serves what he does, it's a necessity for the style of music he plays.
Ultimately if it works for what you are trying to achieve then all tones are good, and he certainly seems to have an understanding of that. It wouldn't be what I would want to sound like, but I'm not playing what he plays.
Overall I'd probably still rate other players higher, but I certainly can't fault Andy in any way. He does what he does extremely well.
Where is will it shred??? GRRRR!
cesarronalding I make lots of kinds of videos, I like variety. I'll be back with Will It Shred soon. I have the pickups sitting there waiting to be wound at a point when I can dedicate the time to film the process. Filming that kind of work makes it last twice as long, and I have to consider how I work so I don't obscure camera angles and such. So it really requires a bit of work and time to get it right.
be patient, there will be more of it coming soon.
Certainly I'll be waiting for it ;)
Hi, I just came across your channel. Subscribed! :)
I still think i like gravity picks the most the sunrise is the best
I can't find them someone help me
Colin, you should just quickly check out the Planet Waves Black Ice picks. They're not expensive or special, but I like them better than my dunlops and actually even more than my dragons heart pure guitar picks. I'm using the 0.5mm model, and I instantly fell in love with it.
Hey Colin great video as always! Care to give me some feed back on my videos? Not asking for a like or sub, just thoughts and suggestions.
