    It's the bevel that makes the difference. Fantastic picks. Glides across the strings quite effortlessly.

    These are simply the best picks. Thanks, Glenn Fricker, for making me aware of those :)
    Started with the Badazz 2.5mm but those were a little too small for me, so I switched to the Shredder 3.5mm. Haven't touched another pick since. These things truly are amazing.

    I have such a pick obsession, I need professional help lol!
    Been liking Gravity picks, but maybe I’ll give these a try. Thanks for playing through a few of them!
    Apropos of nothing, I just will never understand the people who complain about free RUclips content and try to dictate how creators run their channel. The world seems to have a pandemic of toxic entitlement. You be you, my man!

    I've been really liking the Badazz for a while now...super heavy pick but it works...somehow! They don't last as long as they say they do though...maybe it because I use 12s on my guitars but I go through them rather quickly

    great picks, I'm having trouble choosing a favorite. the package I received had the shredder, light regular 2.2 and 2.6 I believe. definitely want to try out the badazz iii before I decide, a friend had the bermuda and I hated that one

  • @Vegenks
    @Vegenks 5 лет назад

    I have the shredder 3.5 its flippin amazing it's a very harmonious pic its size gives you grip but its ground nicely so it glides over the strings in all styles that I've tried absolutely perfect for acoustic at least for me

    I'm low budge - fly me over and send me back on the Ambassador package, and I'll totally hang, chillaxe, and rock out. BTW, the biggest difference in picks for me was between the Dunlop Tortex Purple 1.14mm and the Dunlop Jazz 3 - I've been using them ever since. Looking forward to a mini-keg of German beer!

  • @dlewtweentorla1210
    @dlewtweentorla1210 4 года назад

    When you were comparing your usual pick vs the Chicken Pick, have to say there was more clarity for sure. Biggest difference was with the limited amount of chords, the definition of each string came through with the CP, making the Dunlop sound flat. Was very surprised.
    Great Vid ..... even better when your tired and a bit punchy!! LOL

    • @mylogify
      @mylogify Год назад

      Which one did you use?

    • @dlewtweentorla1210
      @dlewtweentorla1210 Год назад +1

      @@mylogify Depends what you're using now. Would go with a shape you're familiar with. Same goes for thickness, if you're used to thinner picks (as in any pick under 1.5 mm) would start with the 2.0-2.2mm Chicken Pick, thickness depending on model or shape you like.
      Hope this helps

    I play the Chicken Picks (Medium) for 2 years now. They produce more brilliant highs than all of the other picks i owned.They are a little bit expensive, but worth the money.

    I love picks and have hundreds. I have yet to try the Chicken picks. Been playing Zenfire picks for a while now, these things are too good! I like picks with actual grips. i don't want that sucker to move .... at all!

  • @GlennMichaelThompson

    I've always believed in trying different picks for changing up your tone, also to help increase technique and playing feel. I've found V-Picks to be a favourite, their Dimension Jr., small pointed, and Diamond are a few preferences. I'm gonna try a Chicken Pick or 3.

  • @guitarnerd_luke

    I use Chickenpicks (Standard 2.2 and 2.6) for 3 years now. They are great, but it hurts so much more when you loose them^^ and it happens, more often than I like it =P It´s a mysterious phenomenon, with those disappearing picks....

    Hi! Could you try and get your hands on some Chapman models? Getting a less biased opinion (than Rob and Lee's perspective) about these would be cool. Especially the ml 1 traditional! Cheers!

    I love my chicken picks-was never a big believer in the whole pick hype until I started using the standard 2.2 and 2.6 mm they sound amazing especially with my strat they took over from my Dunlop 1.5 gators and the Gravity 1.5 which I still like but the chickens rule the roost(LOL)

    I LOVE THAT TONE!!! :D I am currently using some JP Jazz Picks, they are thick too. They give a clear tone. Have you ever tried the Huffschmid picks? They are handmade, that guy makes even glow in the dark picks :P Which makes it really hard to lose your picks :P

    That is a nice Shecter dude wow. Also those are some thick picks. like thicker than the bass picks I see. I would need to give them a try. Ive been told recently to try switching to a different pick. I have been suggested jazz picks for more control. Do you still use these regularly?

  • @CIRCLEOFTONE
    @CIRCLEOFTONE 7 лет назад

    I love chicken picks but have they changed their formula recently? I use them to avoid the chirp you get like with gravity picks. I used a new one today and that chirp is more prominent than usual. You called it the scrapey scrapey. Lol.
    Best tone/playability IMO are steel picks (depending on style) but they eat strings.
    Even with the chirp, chicken picks are among the best I've tried. Great control/tone/speed.

I'd say those two things are enough of an excuse but I don't want to steal so much of your time that it actually pays for me to make the trip, since everything north of munich is a bit far for a weekend trip.
