If you asked me, what were the two greatest Rock songs ever recorded, I was say without a doubt, Eight Miles High by the Byrds and All Along The Watchtower by Jimi Hendrix. They each had something special that is hard to duplicate.

It's great to see and hear these virtual collaborations,
fantastic musicians all of them, very tight performance. But perhaps the coolest thing about this is this young chick jamming with all those old dudes. She's got class!
That young chick is Sina Doering whose father was touring with a Beatles cover band, so classic rock was in the house while growing up...She also plays several instruments Very talented....and a lot of class.

You guys were lucky to score an amazing drummer (Sina Drums) as she did a drum cover using the original Bryds track awhile ago and now she has found the talent (The Thorns) that honors the amazing original including the vocals...loved this song even before Sina found it. I did not realize the drums before she covered this masterpiece. Love love love her intense drumming style and certainly she choose well the rest to cover this song.

Having enjoyed listening a number of times to this Thorns recording of Eight Miles High, my word am I impressed with Sina's drumming contribution on the recording! She gets into this groove, and just swings. It's so fine to listen to!

Without question, Rickenbacker 12-string electric guitars sound superb when covering any songs performed by the Byrds. However, Craig T Fall's leads played here on his Ibanez Artist 12-string electric stand out with a wonderful distinctive tone.

And Sina's drumming completes the ensemble fantastically! I was just revisiting Sina's fine drumming postings, ran across Sina's and your "Eight Miles High", and was blown away! My word! I caught the original Byrds playing this very song live, when I was 14!

If Sina is this good in drumming, then Michael Clarke drummer of Byrds did a splendid job , him being the original. And they say Michael was not good . He just looked like a rockstar accdg to mcguinn
All who listened to Michael Clarke’s parts know he was a good drummer. Best of all, an excellent bandmate. Look at the wonderful groups Michael played with: Byrds, Flying Burrito Brothers, Firefall. One does not get invited into those groups unless they are solid musicians and people would like to hang out with.
