They write the most sophisticated lyrics with the most catchy tunes (which often don't match the lyrics, which is cool bc it doesn't feel cliched). No wonder I've been obsessed with AFI and BA since hearing of them five years ago. I'm always more interested in lyrics/vocals than technical aspects of the music. I saw a comment on another BA song re ppl analysing lyrics and why do ppl do it? It annoys me with most bands but figuring Davey Havok and Co out is like solving a cryptic crossword puzzle :)

This is an odd one. It definitely sounds almost like an AFI song, but when you imagine it played by AFI, you realize it actually works better as a BA song.
