I saw another video of a guy doing the same mod but was all in japanese. It seemed pretty straightforward but man you went the extra mile to go really in depth on how to install these. Love it man!
@@Eddie_freeflow504 yeah it's been done for a few weeks I still haven't put the logo on .. it will probably stay that way.. that GTR is something else. 😉
Excellent video man. I just fixed some dodgy wiring I found on my 94 carrys lights.. I absolutely love the round headlights as well and I've been tempted to get some of these colour changed LED lights because the El'cheapo ebay ones just look at bit shit.
Thanks, yeah i went through a whole dumpster fire of wiring on my austin mini a few years back, cant believe that didn't catch on fire previously. I'll admit these lights might be a bit shit too, but they are a little pricier then the really cheap ones so, that means they work better right? LOL.. Thanks for watching!
@@inkandpistons its not that hard sir, because there's a lot of Suzuki Carry in the Philippines. I also replace the headlights with similar looks to the one that you used.
@Aaron10.12 oh, I didn't realize you were there. Yes that would make it much easier there are not that many here in the US. So it is more difficult to find parts.
I love the round headlights! I had an ‘85 Dodge pickup that had the fugly rectangles. I bought some 7” round lights that said they were for a Harley. I made some filler panels to take up the gaps and I was pretty happy with the results. Yesterday I bought a 93 Acty. I’m wondering if it would be worth trying something like you did. Thanks for the informative video!
Love the video! Great details! Did you just not want to cut the part of the van to make the round light bezel fit or was that not even an option due to wiper motor or something else ?
@@corywelch4210 thanks.. no I could have cut it there is plenty of room up there. but it would have been more difficult to create a perfect circular cut. Then I also would have had to deal with possible future rust site if I could get the edge sealed up properly I think two pieces of metal come together there. Not impossible work just a lot more work.
Is the radiator cover metal or plastic? I’m thinking about buying one of these this week and want to mount a spare tire on the front. VW Kombi styles.

@@evolutionj I actually saw that video right after I did mine. I was shocked that nobody has done it.. figures that they would have done it first!
Although I dont mind the stock look, these round headlights look very cute 👍 glad you pulled it off
@@Alenasup thanks.. I don't really mind them either.. 8 just cant ever leave well enough alone.. 😉
Love the video! I've been wanting to do the same thing with my 93.......but I've got to say....HOLY COTTER PINS, BATMAN!!!!!
@@bobpineo6376 lol, thanks, yeah I dig how it came out.. good luck!
Great job👍 When I bought mine, I wanted round headlights too, but I preferred the 5 speed over the 4 speed…
This is a nice happy medium👍👍
@@florida__jack thanks. Yeah it's literally 'medium' round
My favorite video yet! 👏👍 (And not just cuz I'm in it! 😁😁)
yeah well your cameos sell it :)
I like the clean look without the logo on the front. That GTR 😮

I'm working on a conversion for the Sambars! Love the look!

i did this to my van also. it really looks good.
@@Aaron10.12 awesome, how hard was it to aquire the parts for yours?

@@corywelch4210nice. it's metal. May need some extra structure behind it. Just plastic clips building it
