Dave talk the powers at be into having the F- bomb on HOT ROD GARAGE. They could get some tire sponsorship to let you use some real slicks and you could run it at the track on work time. Seems like it would be a win win. They can also spin the episode off as a "how to set up a car for the drag strip". As most episodes are about building horsepower or putting on suspension for road course. But Hot Rod Garage has not really covered setting up a car with real horsepower to run down the drag strip. Hope you sell a lot of shirts and good luck I'm getting the car into the eights.
I was a technical advisor for the insert unit. Justin Lin, the director asked me what you would do, to make a car do a wheelie on dirt. My first response was "could you take that part out." More or less just a trailer hitch that that could slide the weight into the back of the car.
