Up on the cliff behind Deli's house, you could continue his area into a sitting/reading area that he set up for the villagers. Or a cotton farm behind Daisy's laundry area? (that may be a lot of hyacinths though). And that can tie in with some of the ideas listed into the other replies (like the market or resting/hobby area). I know that's not *exactly* what you're asking, but it may help fill the space in the area you are asking about. If you want to relate it to the hyacinths, you could also do a flower crown/hyacinth themed item crafting area! Or maybe a wheat farm behind Flurry's to represent the ingredients for her baked goods?

Minimoli did a no-online-challenge where she created an island in 30 days and she didn't find the wheat field during that. It was kinda funny to watch cause she struggled so much as she normally uses the wheat field as often as you :D

regarding the pear trees and not being able to shake them - can you maybe hit them with an axe? i feel like i've done that where the tree is fully surrounded by weeds and fruits kinda sadly disappear out of existence
