- This song was recorded by Lightfoot while he was on tour in 1967 in Cleveland, Ohio on a hot summer night and he was missing his wife, Brita Ingegerd Olaisson and winter in Canada. I’m sure there were a lot of people who would rather be in Canada in the winter than Cleveland in the summer. What does that say about Cleveland?
Playing an acoustic guitar that I built from scratch in the spring of 2024. Top and bottom of thin plywood, sides of white ash, neck of oak and black locust.
