I have been in the flooring business for 38yrs they talk about the same issues now as they did then, carpet installation buisness was never marketed as a skilled trade, sawing seams, power stretching the majority of customers/store owners will not pay the PROPER Rate for this to be done. This trade has never change.
Every video i see for row finding and cutting, no one explains that there's only 1 way to row cut pile. Make sure you're going this way the carpet lays down. You're welcome

try it out, back side off the cc when cutting opposite side of straight edge
only works on plush carpet.
