Y’all realize this isn’t going to be a total war? The entire thrill of the battles come from you knowing how you have built up your village to support those soldiers with equipment etc. I think it’s important to remember it’s not a total war replaced and mainly a city builder
battles are what total war is about. 50 percent of this gameplay trailer is battle gameplay or showing off recruitment. the developer knows exactly what hes doing
Im so happy they're taking the extra time to get the game out in a good state, even though early access games you can expect to be a bit iffy, I wish other companies would bite the bullet and take a delay to produce a quality product rather than a half backed mess that requires months if not years of patches
Especially with the vast amount of potential competition now a days, and increase in game makers ability and design, you kinda half expect them too and yet, they still don’t 😂 it’s no wonder your 1 man bands etc are taking over
I would like to see a family system with coat of arms. Make your dynasty CKII style. Imagine making a cadet branch of your family, giving them a small manor, which will be managed by the AI. They would provide a few men for war, a few labourers and a tax income.
i was already really impressed by the demo, i would have paid money alone for the demo. I do hope there is some sort of castle or fort building element to the game so we can have sieges etc theres not many good castle building games out
I wonder how big the modding scene is gonna be. Like is it just gonna be small tweaks or full on fantasy overhaul mods like LotR or even Elder Scrolls. Either way still excited for the base game!
No, the battles are more in vein of total war. I think city building, tactical battles, and third person combat would be too much for Slavic Magic to do, this is an indie game after all.
@@raskolnikov6443 ur right but the original commenter is implying manor lords will be a total war killer, which is very far fetched. I say this as someone who enjoyed manor lords, its a great game but it isn't great enough to dethrone CA, CA has been the king of RTS games for awhile
