Merry Christmas and happy new year! The body looks great, I think I need one now, I would also love to see a Dodge Ramcharger come about as its not a real common style to be reproduced like the Hilux, blazer etc.
Thanks for this review. As result, I bought a kit, painted it to match the OEM color T621, Rustic Green, of the 1975 FJ40 that I owned. I also bought all the goodies from HardBody Crawler Company to go with it. I modified the front turn signals/markers to be lit and also lit the rear tail lights. I mounted it to and SCX24 C10 chassis that I purchase and upgraded using brass parts from Injora. It is a prized possession in my R/C stable.
I just got mine the other day. Building it as I write this...Love the scale aspect and like you, expect the performance to suffer some. That being said, I'm more interested in 'trail' than actual rock crawling so I don't think this will be problem. I don't have the wheels yet and will use my current beadlocks/tire combination...and I'll add harder springs to my shocks, most likely front as well as rear. I'm looking forward to trail running come good weather.
The ease of install is what changes the game for this to me. Alot of us out hard bodies on that dont turn out near as "finished" as that looks since we have to make all new mounting systems and what not plus the bodies are not true 124. this looks fantastic!!
They should make an old school Toyota pickup body, the 1/25 scale Toyota models sell for over $100 these days so we need a company to make some for us. Merry Christmas Matt!
I agree! I have my original old yota body and one new one I keep hanging on to just because they are almost impossible to get anymore lol. Merry Christmas!
Dang, this body is so awesome! My pops thinks it is too, I would love to get him one! Next, I would love to see an FJ47 pickup or troopy hardbody for the Gladiator! Thanks for the awesome video Matt, have a Merry Christmas sir!
Merry Christmas 🎄! My vote would be for a gen 1 Toyota 4 runner (with the removable cap). That would let you remove a lot of weight off the back if you wanted to make it more performance oriented.
Really nice looking body and thanks for the walkthrough. An International Harvester Scout for the gladiator would be incredible. Ideally topless or with a removable hardtop.
Merry Christmas everyone! I love your videos just recently got back in to rc. It would be really sweet to see a old International Harvester Scout from hardbody crawler or something crazy like a soviet gaz 61. Just to see what other people would come up with. Hope everyone has a good holiday!
I would totally also agree that the toyota pickup would be the fav in the crawler community but I'm also a huge jeep fan. But if they made a jeep I hope it's not another hard top. If so hopefully they make it removable. Thanks Matt you rock!
Merry Christmas from one mat to another! I wish we could get a YJ hard body. I feel like the jeep yj doesn’t get enough love in the rc world (even though the fms 1/10 one just released lol) I just wanna recreate my dads old yj in rc form and its hard because there just aren’t yj bodies out there
Merry Christmas! I just found this body online and was thrilled you made this video already. I've been curious how it would perform, and gotta say it looks impressive! Thanks for making this!
Wow, I am not only impressed by the body, but also by the classic wheels. Unbelievable! They look and seem to function exactly the same as Boom Racing's 1.55 Vintage Yota wheels. As for future hard body releases, how about a Citroen 2CV Sahara 4x4 😄
I've wanted a 1980 Toyota Hilux, but none of the 3d printed once quite fit the bill. One done with this level of detail would be amazing, but I would like to see it for the Trx4m.
Loved the body! I think they could make a 2 doors Range Rover from the eighties. It'ts the only car ever displayed in the Louvre museum in Paris as work of art.
Merry Christmas! This looks really great! Some ideas are an early 80s Toyota pickup, a 1st generation 4 Runner, or early Bronco (1st gen). Thanks for the content!
Really cool! I've seen a few hardbody builds lately and I think I might go for one soon and embrace the scale side of the hobby. I'd love to see a detailed early 80's suburban, ready to be accessorized for overlanding. Seems like it'd work well on the gladiator wheelbase, or even a little longer at true 1/18 scale. I'd embrace the weight and go brushless with heavy axles and wheels, big tires, and sylmeballs. Merry Christmas!
I have to agree with upperleftrc. An older Toyota pickup would be amazing. But I would like to see them come put with some stock fcx24 wheelbases as well as there isn't many out there with the 138mm wheelbase. My dad has a 94 toyota pickup dlx and it really has grown on me. Looking forward to see what this company does with some new bodies. Merry Christmas everyone!
I scooped up the blue one myself. Wanted the special wheels but they aren't available. Probably gonna use some white stamped steel wheels instead. Would love to see more hard bodies like this for sure. Probably some more classics like a CJ7 or an early Samurai would be cool. Either way if they keep them at this price point or less they'll sell like hot cakes with butter! Thanks for all the up to date content Matt!
Wow that looks great! I thought the performance would be horrible but it was getting along pretty well. I think a 1/24 scale Suzuki Samurai/Sierra hard body would be epic!
Man, my list would go on and on. #1 80's Chevy K10 pickup/Blazer #2 Jeep CJ-7(tired of jk/jlu)#3 1970's Jeep Wagoneer or Cherokee #4 Dodge Ram Charger #5 Jeep Kaiser #6 1979 Ford F150/Bronco #7 Original Bronco #8 90's Jeep Comanche/Cherokee and just to make it end, any new Crew Cab Ford/Chevy/Ram body to match our new Shiny's. And yes, 1980's Toyota pickup. Love the FJ40, looking forward to more run time. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND HAPPY NEW YEAR
Just heard of this and glad you already have a review! I think it looks dead on they have proportions just right and those wheels are the cherry on the sundae. It would be so nice to have a company producing direct fit hard bodies for scx24 and fcx24 just to have more options than just another jeep or bronco (yawn). Keep up the good work, your videos are very entertaining and informative.
Merry Christmas Matt! Hope you and your family have a great holiday season. I think they should make a VW Thing body. Something different than what everyone else is doing.
Wow! That's a great review. I'm happy to see an attractive, high-quality body for the SCX24. I ordered the FJ40 body, and I look forward to receiving the bumper. Once again, thank you for the useful review.
I appreciate you brother. I am new to SCX 24 and I've learned a lot from you.I am about $400 into my Deadolt and not ready to stop yet to make the perfect crawler. keep it up!
Just found out about these bodies from a SBG forum post last Friday and had to get one. It arrived last night. Can't wait to put it together over the holiday weekend. Your video is the first review I've seen on it. Not sure what next for bodies, perhaps a CJ-7 or a Nissan Patrol, or maybe an early Bronco or Scout. Already plenty of options for late model Jeeps, Defenders and the new Bronco. Merry Christmas.
I’d like to see some old school Datsun and Toyota trucks, that be cool!! Anything with the boxy frames are always great!! Keep them video rolling, always enjoy the mini crawler scene!! 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
This thing looks so good...always loved the old Toyota Cruisers. Would be cool to see the company put out some more hard bodies with the interiors. My number 1 choice would be a first gen Tacoma since that is what I drive. Merry Christmas everyone!
I am a big Toyota fan, nice to see a real scale FJ that fits the SCC24. I like what they are doing here and as a great counterpart I think they should make a CJ7, with a removable top... Merry Christmas and thank you for great content!
Merry Christmas! My first car was a used 1974 FJ40. This is a later 70s but still really cool. Would love to make a red and white one. A early Bronco would be nice.
Love the channel. I have many same vehicles you do. Nice to see them modded and explained why your options worked or didn't. Like the see older land cruiser body for my scx 24.
Merry Christmas! Thanks for the content on this beauty! It looks great. I would love to see some more scale Land Rover Defender Trucks. I love the look of the scale SUV’s being put out now by Axial and Traxxas but performance wise, more scale looking hard body trucks would be nice. Thanks for the content as always!
This is absolutely amazing I have a Rc4wd 1/18 Gelande sitting around that I stole the D90 body off of that needs some love this could be just the thing!
That thing is so rad! My dream is to do a frame-off resto on a 1:1 '74 FJ...in the meantime, I'd love to get my hands on one of these! Merry Christmas to you and your family Matt!
Back watching again merry Christmas eve to you in the family. Love the hard bodies, that’s why I love my FCX 24 power wagon and my Max smashers.A El Camino body would be super cool
Love the hard bodies for these rig's. Love watching your channel, you always have very informed information and I have learned a lot from your video's. Merry Christmas to all.
Merry Christmas, and a happy new year.... late 80s early 90s suzuki SJ410.. for deadbolt, c10, jl, and sj410x longwheel base for the gladiator platform
A FJ45 with wooden Flatbed would be cool to see on the 1/24 scale platform. Hope they can make something like that. Also Merry Christmas, hope Santa will be extra nice to me this year cos I really dig this body..
Merry Christmas to you and your family, Matt I would like to see some different hard bodies than we already have. I am tired of all the same ones to be honest. Maybe a Hummer, Dodge M37, Kaiser M35A2, Lamborghini LM002, Porsche 959 or Cayenne, Cybertruck, Volvo Sugga, a vintage overland truck...just something different.
Merry Christmas and happy new year! The body looks great, I think I need one now, I would also love to see a Dodge Ramcharger come about as its not a real common style to be reproduced like the Hilux, blazer etc.
#hardbodycrawlerco
A Suzuki Samauri would be a cool and unique body for the scx24, Merry Christmas!
This is a really cool product. Would love to see a old time willys Jeep.
Merry Christmas!!!
A 70’s dodge truck would be awesome!!
Merry Christmas! Awesome kit. I would love to see a hard body K5 Blazer. A 40`s-50`s US military deuce n half would be super cool as well.
Thanks Matt! Merry Christmas! We are so grateful for your support!

Absolutely agree!
Yes!
Merry Christmas! Toyota pickup. Can’t even find plastic models anymore.
I'd love to see them make a jeep TJ body
A 1932 Ford coup. It would be something completely different and I think the wheelbase may be spot on.
Huge Toyota 1:1 scale junkie here freaking love it man!!! Seriously appreciate all you do for the community Christmas everyday here I love it:)
Dang, this body is so awesome! My pops thinks it is too, I would love to get him one! Next, I would love to see an FJ47 pickup or troopy hardbody for the Gladiator! Thanks for the awesome video Matt, have a Merry Christmas sir!
Excellent overview! LOVE the FJ ❤
Can't wait to see where Hard Body Crawler Co goes in the future!
I was waiting on someone to review this amazing body thank you! I'd like to see more Toyota truck body's! Hope you have a merry Christmas!🎄
Those look so awesome! To think what awesome builds the future holds with these bodies, it’s incredible! Also, merry Christmas everybody
That FJ looks really good, I would love to see them do a first gen bronco or blazer next.
Merry Christmas 🎄! My vote would be for a gen 1 Toyota 4 runner (with the removable cap). That would let you remove a lot of weight off the back if you wanted to make it more performance oriented.
That would be a cool departure from the typical hilux 💪🏻
Its looks great on the course, I love how detailed small crawlers are getting!
Would love to see an old like early 70's Blazer body made!! Merry Christmas Matt!!

Great review! We should support more of innovative companies like them! Hope they will release more vintage style 4x4 bodies in the future.
Merry Christmas and great content as always! A pickup truck land rover of this body style would be pretty cool.
Man that body is SICK ! next body should definitly be a hilux.. with the amount of detail.. gonna be sold out in no time!
Merry Christmas and so happy to find this while browsing for some hardbody’s 😭😂 great content as always
Merry Christmas! A body like this would make me want to get my first scx24.
I would love to see an old International Scout ii! Merry Christmas everyone!

YES!!!
Did you know the gladiator and the burb are essentially the same length and wheelbase!? That blew my mind.
Awesome body, wheels are cool too! I think a 1970 Blazer with a soft top would be great 👍 MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE!!!
Merry Christmas bro! Thank you for always keeping us up to date. We appreciate you so much 🔥🤟🏼
That looks so good! I'm waiting for the bumpers to be available before I buy one. I'd love a 1970s International Scout also.
I think they killed it with this body and any other bodies would just be awesome! Merry Christmas!

I would love a jeep YJ body. It's a very under-represented jeep. The Mashigan is really the only thing we have.
I think a 1960 or so Apache panel truck/wagon would be fun. Hope everyone has a merry Christmas.
I'd love to see an early 90s Jeep Wrangler. My boys would think it was awesome to paint it up like a Jurassic Park Jeep.
I scooped up the blue one myself. Wanted the special wheels but they aren't available. Probably gonna use some white stamped steel wheels instead. Would love to see more hard bodies like this for sure. Probably some more classics like a CJ7 or an early Samurai would be cool. The white steelies look good on it. I tried a set myself
YES on the Jeep and Samurai!
That is so clean!!!!
Merry Christmas to everyone!
Wow that looks great! I thought the performance would be horrible but it was getting along pretty well. I think a 1/24 scale Suzuki Samurai/Sierra hard body would be epic!
YES!!! With swb for deadbolt front c10 rear links!
Merry Christmas!!! Love that rc body! I think they should make an old blazer or bronco!
Killer body, it's awesome, happy because they keep making bodys for scx24!. Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas! My first car was a used 1974 FJ40. This is a later 70s but still really cool. Would love to make a red and white one. A early Bronco would be nice.
They should make a 1980s bronco. They have them in 10 scale but would look awesome on the 24. Merry christmas !
Nice looking little trail cruiser!
What are some of your favorite oil shocks for this scale?
Very Merry Xmas!!!
Amazing Build, would love to see a Defender from this company. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year from Kenya
Next.. a Willys civilian CJ3b!!
Merry Christmas buddy. This body would look really good on my b17. I would like to see the scout body as a hard body . Thx for the awesome content.
Great and I finally got off the 24 wagon and this comes out. Now i need a deadbolt 😆
Love the channel. I have many same vehicles you do. Nice to see them modded and explained why your options worked or didn't. Like the see older land cruiser body for my scx 24.
Merry Christmas to you, too. Very realistic that hard body. Looks amazing even if not the best performace. Thumps up.
Yes it comes with the adapter needed to fit the Gelande also! I realized I didn’t mention that once the video was finished lol
That thing is so rad! My dream is to do a frame-off resto on a 1:1 '74 FJ...in the meantime, I'd love to get my hands on one of these! Merry Christmas to you and your family Matt!
Merry Christmas Matt. It does have some great detail. An AMC CJ-7 or Scrambler body would be RAD. Perhaps a 69-72 Chevy blazer with removable top.
A square body blazer would be awesome!!! Merry Christmas 🎄
This looks so lovely❤
ALWAYS GOOD TO SEE OPTIONS. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE A 1979 BRONCO BODY. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!

Merry Christmas 🎅 ,I like your 24 video. You helped me build my first 24.
Merry Christmas! That’s so awesome! Hope you’ve had a great day
thanks so much for the great content as always, I would love to see some old style trucks from this company. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Merry Christmas I think they should do a first generation 4runner, body or a scout body. I think either one of those be real cool.
I would love to see a Cherokee. So many Wranglers lol. Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all!
Merry Christmas!
This hard body looks awesome and well worth the price point. Would love to see them make a classic Bronco body or a Subaru Brat
Weeeooooo!!!! I’ve been waiting my whole life for a legit 1/24 fj40!!!
1970 Ford F-250! Merry Christmas!
A Lada Taiga or a Lada Niva of course! Something new, no Jeep (but a Willys)! Merry Christmas 🎄🎄🎄
Merry Christmas, Matt! They should 100% make a Honcho or something similar. Pickup cab and cage on the back. It would sell really well.
Merry Christmas Matt!!! It would be cool if they made an older ford body for it. Don’t see very many of those around.
