Excellent update. Looks like we need a couple weeks to go from a bushy slalom to easy navigation around Lone Rock.
I do believe you are correct about that. Already the plants are entirely underwater.

Hey Thor......im heading to Powel on Friday to camp on the beach for a few days to make a video. I really enjoy your videos, thanks for the update!! Do you know if the cut will be open by next weekend?
There's a good possibility that small or shallow draft boats might be able to make it through. At this point in time tho not quite yet.
Great update on the lake water level conditions. Any info on whether the water levels will rise enough for 'the cut' to be open this year?
It is speculated that the cut will open, but in my opinion I just don't know.
Thor, what are top speed capabilities for tour boat?
She used to go fairly fast, & is designed to go 38mph. But these days she can't get up on plane anymore because her engine is broken & not making a lot of power. Currently at top speed before the engine starts taking damage she goes about 9mph.

I actually tried to reach out to some native historians to help try & preserve some of the culture, unfortunately they never really responded 🤷♂️. If you know of anyone send them my way. I am particularly interested in preserving the names of the locations I go.
