    I cannot believe how well you know all the scenic cove and amazing rock formations. Thanks Thor.

    We have been watching so many videos because of our upcoming trip to Powell and you are hands down our favorite! By far! We don't have to look up your nose, you have a nice calming voice, you don't play the music so loud that we are straining to hear what you say, your music isn't heavy metal vomit or obnoxious rap...need I go on?😂
    Oh, Rich just said to add that your photography makes us feel like we are right there, too.
    Keep up the great work and soon you will be making a living doing this! ❤
    I'm sharing!

    I would love to be there, but a pontoon boat isn't a very good winter boat. Yes I love Lake Powell. So glad to have you back. Until spring, I can only see you on video. We will definitely hookup next spring.

    There is so much video and pictures of Wahweap Bay or around Bullfrog Marina. But taking us into Navajo and seeing the changes is quite shocking.

    Keep the longer videos coming. I enjoy seeing Lake Powell when I can't get there myself. Thanks.

    We've been to Navajo Canyon many, many times... Very beautiful! The wind can come up during the middle of the night and cause some problems. So, you have to sleep lightly.. Great place, though!

    Awesome. I call them cuddle kittens, happens with your nice car parked in the boonies and someone parks right besides, probably all kinds of reasons that happens but why at Powell I travel a long way just to get some distance. Didn't realize Navaho canyon had so much to offer.😆

    Great video. Relaxing, educational, and more.
    Editing can be fun, but can also be a major chore. I feel ya and can relate.
    I tend to shoot more and faster than I edit. I need to bring my video shooting more in line with editing to keep from getting overwhelmed this year.

    The content is great. Good music too. It would be awesome if you would put the lat/long locations of your destinations in your descriptions. I don't know where the 'shelter cove' is, and I thought I knew where your Navajo spot was, but it's not what I remember. Is the Navajo Sand Dome the same as the Sand Dune? Lat/long locations would help. Thanks and keep up the good work. And please document the Lake rise this year, it should be impressive.

    Thinking about a rugged off grid camping trip with a friend and two sea do explorers…. Gas docks still open in the off season? I can look at the weather curious about water temps also

    • @ExploreWithThor
      @ExploreWithThor  Год назад +1

      Yep fuel docks are open all year. However they are open limited hours throughout the day. Water definitely gets cold. Also something to consider is inside the canyons gets significantly colder because of the shade & wind.

    The water levels have come up a feet in Lake Mead and was wondering if the rain is bringing Lake Powell up a few feet?

      Not yet, but it will soon. I suspect we will have a good year this year. Fingers crossed. FOr both LM & LP
