I’ve always said this: The Otsutsuki stuff should have began and ended with Hagoromo. Hagoromo was essentially “God” of the Naruto Verse and he’d been built up as this deity who could do anything and was everything. I was cool with Hagoromo. Even him being an alien of sorts. But shoe-horning in Kaguya when she had little to no build-up and stripping the final boss status against the pinnacle of villianry in Naruto, I.E Madara Uchiha, was criminal. Madara should have been Naruto’s and Sasuke’s final fight physically and idealistically.
pretty sure Madara explained that the real reason edo tensei was a forbidden jutsu was because it behaved similar to a summoning jutsu where the resurrected person could resend the summoning contract if they knew the right hand signs. So the jutsu caster could no longer release the resurrected from the jutsu.

Not only we get the fight of them vs the Thrird Hokage where the character dialogue states that they were brought back with their power in tact, in this very arc it is also said that the Third is the strongest Hokage (probably not counting the 4th - who Hiruzen was scared of being resurrected and did all he could to stop at least this one) - and later him fighting the first and second at the same time was meant to illustrate that the claim of him being the strongest Hokage is backed up. But then shonen power scaling happened and suddenly... Huh, I actually forgot what the firsts name was smh. Anyhow after shonen power scaling happened suddenly the first had the powers to wipe out countries in seconds

I dislike Sasuke. But I wouldn’t kill him if I were allowed to end Naruto. My problem with Sasuke was not his story nor his redemption. It was mainly how his story hijacked the main story. It was about Naruto trying to be Hokage and gain the love and recognition he yearned for. Wether Sasuke is redeemed or not, Naruto’s obsession with a dude who he only spent a few months with was too much for me. I liked how Part 1 handled it, but it got too melodramatic. I wanted to see Naruto to move up the ranks and see him grow. But he got stuck as a genin for a gag and spent 70% of the show chasing after Sasuke. So no. I wouldn’t kill Sasuke. I’d even probably make his character arc similar to Kishimoto’s canon. But I’d just make everything else more important to Naruto’s character than it was.
Naruto and Sasuke knew each other way longer than a few months, there is a flashback to when they are really little fighting in a playground with the other genin watching.
Thing is though, Naruto got his recognition long before he became Hokage so he was halfway there and that wouldn’t work out. And Sasuke’s arc is intertwined with Naruto to further develop his goal of Hokage and not just become Hokage for pretty superficial reasons.
If Naruto couldn't save someone like Sasuke then to him he might as well not have become hokage cause he goals went beyond just gaining acceptance and love he wanted help ppl like Gaara and Sasuke ppl who's pain he can empathize with

I disagree Hashirama being stronger than minato makes sense. Hashirama legit caught all of the tail beasts. Not to mention the use and talk of his cells. That Kamui thing was wrong. Obito said that he couldn't phase through things and neither can Madara. After all, Sasuke literally bisected him. Placing separate pieces of your body into Kamui and putting your entire body into Kamui are very different

It’s supposed to send something the Mangekyou sees, and not the user itself, like Obito’s does. Personally, I believe that I'd want Kabuto to be alive and gone through the whole izanami self reflection... BUT I would want us to see the gradual change of how he sees himself, we got a bit from the games and maybe the anime (I don't remember) but I wish in between the slower moments of the fight to be showing how long it seems for him+ the change in how he goes from taking bits of everyone and then learning to just be himself again. His take isn't bad though, I can see it.
For Kabuto is suggestion isnt too different from what happens. The condition is that Kabuto would remain in Izanami forever if he is unable to find who he really is and not copying Orochimaru and his empty ambitions. It puts the responsibility on him if he even has anything left for him to leave the cavern. Hammers suggestion of staying there forever with no condition is just "bad guy is bad so infinite punishment". From Itachi's point a view, its out of character at this point in the story. Him using Izanami is similar to how he put Sasuke in Tsukiyomi twice for days at a time. Itachi is passed that and is a sign that he has truly changed especially in front of his brother. My only change would be it takes much longer for Kabuto to break Izanami. Punishment is there, but only Kabuto himself through his own worth can break it. If he doesn't then well it is what it is.
I like Kabuto’s redemption story and I think it made him a much more compelling character, but they should have SHOWED his moments of self acceptance on screen with Izanami. They could have just showed it as a flashback after his surprise return, and it wouldn’t even have to be very long ~5 minutes or less would have made a huge difference for how weird it felt for him to change without us seeing it happen. He was not cooking with saying Madara can’t resist Edo Tensei. It’s literally just a jutsu, and all jutsu can be resisted or have counters and weaknesses. Madara and Hashirama were the peak of shinobi far above everyone else, and you cannot expect them to be on the same standard. They will break perceived “rules”, cause those “rules” are not universal truths they are just assumptions. Hell, even Itachi resists Edo Tensei with Koto so there was already precedent for resisting the jutsu in some way. Rescinding a summoning contract was also foreshadowed by Minato forcefully doing that to Obito, Madara basically just did that to himself cause he knew the signs to do so. As for the rest… I think he did too much changing lol. Sasuke and Naruto have to box. Madara should be final villain. I do not think Guy should kill Obito… that feels wrong. That would be Kakashi’s role if anyone did it, not Guy’s. Madara vs Guy fight was fine as is. I guess you could have Guy die and it might be better, but I was ok with him living as long as he can’t use 8th gate again. Get rid of Zetsu retcon and Kaguya entirely. I would just introduce otsutsuki in Boruto with Momoshiki or something. And for fucks sake, don’t kill Neji 😅. Neji has way too much potential for Boruto story, and honestly he just deserves to be happy he was basically a slave. I feel like I would be ok with the death if he had more development in part 2, but he basically got discarded and then killed off.

He knew the seals for Edo Tensei(literally fought multiple battles against Tobirama) and used them to reverse the technique⁉️⁉️⁉️ "Why even bother getting the full tailed beasts" because thats what was required for Infinite Tsukuyomi⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️ "How could Madara use Kamui but not Obito" Obito didnt say he couldnt flat out use Kamui, he said he couldnt use it for the phasing shit. And we also have to remember that Obito is holding back for the majority of the war arc because he's testing Naruto's ideals and slowly having his own ideals destroyed by Naruto. So him not just kamui spamming and doin a buncha bulljive makes sense. "Naruto is the son of blah blah and this that" its directly stated he inherited nothing from Kushina and Minato, and the Nine Tails being used as a "gift" when its literally used as a source of conflict and a hinderance for Naruto for the majority of the series is crazy. I don’t agree that Gai should have been the one to kill Madara, it should have been Naruto and Sasuke. Besides, Sasuke cut Madara in half and it was already established that the 10 Tails Jinchuriki can regenerate so that wouldn’t make much sense having Gai kill him.
I kind of like the idea that Gai dies with the 8 gates to kill Madara, and while everyone is celebrating, Sasuke goes and takes the 10 tails and now Naruto and him have to 1v1. Kaguya could show up in The Last when the moon gets cut in half and her body is freed, then have Haguramma and his brother power up Naruto and Hinata temporality and seal Kaguya on the moon.
Obito should have at least tried to launch infinite tsukuyomi and failed because he didn’t have the actual 9 & 8 tails. Would have made sense to establish a real consequence to reviving it like that.
The problem I have with the Kabuto take(this is gonna be long) is while yes he's orochimaru 2.0 in a sense its not really Kabuto goals or aspiration its orochimarus who for a long time was the one influencing kabuto its like azulas situation with her father were she was insolated early in her life and only had ozais teaching same with Kabuto and orochimaru to the point we dont know what the true identity of Kabuto or azula is cause there busy emulating/copying there teachers and for him to never be given the chance to break away and find his own path is kinda wild considering it's given to Obito and Sasuke and is largely seen as good writing for them

Obito can't use his Kamui to phase through shit beacause the Juubi is inside of him. Madara uses Kakashi's Kamui to teleport to the Kamui dimension. It's two different situations with two different eyes that while having the same ability, act differently.
Sasuke's character arc towards the end is the one part that I don't like because of the massive plot hole that is left there. Sasuke didn't want the Hashirama arm because he knew that it would give him another rinnegan which would allow him to perform the infinite tsukiyomi and he didn't trust himself enough to not do it. The problem with this that is that kabuto healed this man using Hashirama cells after he got stabbed by Madara, so he's gonna awaken another rinnegan regardless. This is something that Kabuto should have told him, so him not getting the arm makes no sense and is him getting nerfed for basically no reason.
Naruto isn't about hardwork over talent look at both lee and guy Lee despite all his hard work never won a fight in the series and while guy did beat kisame he lost to Madara despite using the 8 gates because the Ten taisl and rinnegan are presented as divine power that no human can match without having a similar divine power that is how Naruto was able to win his fights in the series because he had the divine power of the tailed beast
With obito its legit so simple just have him lose too naruto in his final moments of hearing the talk no jutsu he hands kakashi his sharingan and then dies heaps simple, I'd also say kill kakashi in the war too not deal with the sharingan/blind issue in future, it would've been the only death that could come anywhere near jiraiya
Regarding the whole Madara saying "No" to being released from the Edo state...I feel like it makes more sense than what was suggested. My idea the whole time was that the vast majority of those who were brought to life WANTED to be sent back, remaining dead and all. But not Madara, he still had things he wanted to do, plans to finish, etc, and I believe that perhaps the Jutsu still had not been fully mastered, hence the one brought back can end up deciding if they really want to be sent back, or just stay for a while longer.

Guy can't woop Obito. That's nowhere near as impressive as him being the first person to deal serious damage to Madara. Personally, I think he should've messed Madara up MUCH more, maybe even killed him. And that's how Kaguya gets out. Buff Naruto saves Guy, then him and Buff Sasuke along with the rest of the Alliance jump Kaguya.
Him writing out a character like sarada who is like atm doing a redemption arc for the entire Uchiha clan with wanting to be hokage and rn is leading team 7 being someone the village trust as a Uchiha her awakening the sharingan through love for her father instead of hate and the mangekyo sharingan love for her closest friend boruto is something i don't like and doesn't do justice to the story of the Uchiha and Sasuke restoring hs clans honor through sarada

I’d only be fine keeping Kaguya if she was at least foreshadowed at the start of Shippuden and if they met Hagaromo earlier and made it it’s own arc, that would have changed a lot of the series but it’d make the ending more pleasing

So the jutsu caster could no longer release the resurrected from the jutsu.

Wether Sasuke is redeemed or not, Naruto’s obsession with a dude who he only spent a few months with was too much for me. I liked how Part 1 handled it, but it got too melodramatic. I wanted to see Naruto to move up the ranks and see him grow. But he got stuck as a genin for a gag and spent 70% of the show chasing after Sasuke.

For Kabuto is suggestion isnt too different from what happens. The condition is that Kabuto would remain in Izanami forever if he is unable to find who he really is and not copying Orochimaru and his empty ambitions. It puts the responsibility on him if he even has anything left for him to leave the cavern. Hammers suggestion of staying there forever with no condition is just "bad guy is bad so infinite punishment".
From Itachi's point a view, its out of character at this point in the story. Him using Izanami is similar to how he put Sasuke in Tsukiyomi twice for days at a time. Itachi is passed that and is a sign that he has truly changed especially in front of his brother.
My only change would be it takes much longer for Kabuto to break Izanami. Punishment is there, but only Kabuto himself through his own worth can break it. If he doesn't then well it is what it is.

I like Kabuto’s redemption story and I think it made him a much more compelling character, but they should have SHOWED his moments of self acceptance on screen with Izanami. They could have just showed it as a flashback after his surprise return, and it wouldn’t even have to be very long ~5 minutes or less would have made a huge difference for how weird it felt for him to change without us seeing it happen.
He was not cooking with saying Madara can’t resist Edo Tensei. It’s literally just a jutsu, and all jutsu can be resisted or have counters and weaknesses. Madara and Hashirama were the peak of shinobi far above everyone else, and you cannot expect them to be on the same standard. They will break perceived “rules”, cause those “rules” are not universal truths they are just assumptions. Hell, even Itachi resists Edo Tensei with Koto so there was already precedent for resisting the jutsu in some way. Rescinding a summoning contract was also foreshadowed by Minato forcefully doing that to Obito, Madara basically just did that to himself cause he knew the signs to do so.
As for the rest… I think he did too much changing lol. Sasuke and Naruto have to box. Madara should be final villain. I do not think Guy should kill Obito… that feels wrong. That would be Kakashi’s role if anyone did it, not Guy’s. Madara vs Guy fight was fine as is. I guess you could have Guy die and it might be better, but I was ok with him living as long as he can’t use 8th gate again. Get rid of Zetsu retcon and Kaguya entirely. I would just introduce otsutsuki in Boruto with Momoshiki or something. And for fucks sake, don’t kill Neji 😅. Neji has way too much potential for Boruto story, and honestly he just deserves to be happy he was basically a slave. I don’t agree that Gai should have been the one to kill Madara, it should have been Naruto and Sasuke. Besides, Sasuke cut Madara in half and it was already established that the 10 Tails Jinchuriki can regenerate so that wouldn’t make much sense having Gai kill him.
I kind of like the idea that Gai dies with the 8 gates to kill Madara, and while everyone is celebrating, Sasuke goes and takes the 10 tails and now Naruto and him have to 1v1. Kaguya could show up in The Last when the moon gets cut in half and her body is freed, then have Haguramma and his brother power up Naruto and Hinata temporality and seal Kaguya on the moon.
Obito should have at least tried to launch infinite tsukuyomi and failed because he didn’t have the actual 9 & 8 tails. Would have made sense to establish a real consequence to reviving it like that.

Obito can't use his Kamui to phase through shit beacause the Juubi is inside of him. Madara uses Kakashi's Kamui to teleport to the Kamui dimension. It's two different situations with two different eyes that while having the same ability, act differently.
Sasuke's character arc towards the end is the one part that I don't like because of the massive plot hole that is left there. Sasuke didn't want the Hashirama arm because he knew that it would give him another rinnegan which would allow him to perform the infinite tsukiyomi and he didn't trust himself enough to not do it. The problem with this that is that kabuto healed this man using Hashirama cells after he got stabbed by Madara, so he's gonna awaken another rinnegan regardless. This is something that Kabuto should have told him, so him not getting the arm makes no sense and is him getting nerfed for basically no reason.
How is Kabuto more treacherous than Sasuke? Kabuto had no real allegiances. Sasuke did.

Regarding the whole Madara saying "No" to being released from the Edo state...I feel like it makes more sense than what was suggested. My idea the whole time was that the vast majority of those who were brought to life WANTED to be sent back, remaining dead and all. But not Madara, he still had things he wanted to do, plans to finish, etc, and I believe that perhaps the Jutsu still had not been fully mastered, hence the one brought back can end up deciding if they really want to be sent back, or just stay for a while longer.

Mad ara could use kamui because kakashi’s eye projected the portal in front of him, while obito’s moved him and anything he touched. Initial even states that he would be able to use kamui once he had better integrated the 10 tails.
Since the mangekyo is a reflection of the hearts deepest desire or some shit, Kamui is obitos ability. There is no reason for Madara being able to use that other than "He's Madara"
