If you have this issue and your on a tight budget take your defective valve cover off. Use small drill bit and drill holes into the baffle on the bottom side of the valve cover where the pcv goes in. I did it to my 05 silverado and it stopped smoking instantly. It's been 2 years and hasn't smoked since

I heard that this is normal on port injected intakes because the plenum sits below the runners.

I don know about that.. i do know a bad design in valve cover pcv system is what causes this..

I despise a plastic intake. I dont know why they thought that was a good idea...

I'd take the plastic ones over my cast iron ones

Only after it was parked on a hill allowing the oil to leak back into the cylinders

How are you going to get the oil out?

We suck it out with a shop vac.. then wipe it down with a rag. You can fit your hand inside.

@@hill_customs6807 you must have small hands lol. I’m cleaning mine now and had to wrap a rag around a long screwdriver to get back in there

You don't have to put your hand inside. Use a shop vac. Or take the intake off and dump it out. And it doesn't have to be squeaky clean. Just get the large pool sucked out.
