Beautiful, almost spiritual this one, right up until the good old British weather decided it needed a cameo appearance at the end…… love all the angles that you get for your on bike shots, particularly the through the wheel and the forward facing view from the rear going through the bends, emphasises the lean angles nicely…

Absolutely brilliant ridden around Ladybower, derw ent and Howden in the 70 's b rought it all back, that made the hairs on the back of my nek stand up. Thank you. Oh I was on a Triumph 3ta then.
I've ridden Snake Pass many times down to Derwent water thinking of what it must have been like when the Dambuster's carried out there practice runs! We would often call at at cafe in Glossop not far from the main traffic lights as I recall it was run by an Italian family who provided a good breakfast and mug of tea. Good days!
Apparently the Air Force still use the dams for pilot practice, I’d love to see that one day! There’s still a good few cafes to park up and get a brew at in Glossip if you’re ever back round this way.
@@ClassicRides I know, the new interceptor came on Wednesday and I have only managed 8 miles on. Torture..! Got a ride planned to yorkshire Wednesday calling past Bolton Abbey so looking forward to that.

Wow beautiful footage- it must be a painstaking process! Do you ever just get out and ride without filming? I have a 2020 T120 Black and it is just a beautiful ride… today after work is wash day which gives me a perfect excuse afterward to take it out and ride the countryside… cheers.

Nice video. We went for a run over the Snake not so long ago on the Speedmaster. Beautiful scenery. For me, though, they really need to do something about the atrocious potholes, especially at the Glossop end.

Bloody amazing scenery and the music was a superb accompaniment. 03:50 this morning saw me start my de-catted Bonneville T120 and ride to work, Sod my neighbours, I lived here first! ;-)
Beautiful as always. Nothing like settling down and watching a chilled 'Classic Rides' short film. Such a shame about the weather at the end, but it does provide some further depth to the film. Love the camera angles, the drone shots, etc., etc. I really need to go out on my T120 and take my camera gear and drone, and get some similar footage. Not sure I can beat your quality though. Keep it up! Ride safe! 👍
Taking a chance, coasting downhill like that before starting the engine. If it hadn't started, that would have been a tough push to get her back up. Lovely video, beautiful scenery. Nice riding. What the heck happened right at the end? It gave the impression that the bike and rider fell into giant pothole full of water. Very weird!
Just a sudden downpour and a flooded road at the end, which happened to be the end of my filming for the day. Also my bike is pretty well looked after so there’s no reason for it not to start, but that hill is much steeper than it looks in the video so there’s no chance I could push it back up if it didn’t 😁

Hi, I think much depends on your height, but for me I smooths the airflow out more than stops it. But it’s very comfortable up to about 80mph, after that the wind is too strong to keep the speed up for very long.

Thanks Alan. The Helmet is a Hedon Hedonist, a little pricey but it’s a quality helmet.

I’m not entirely sure to be honest. It’s a track from Artlist but I can find out the composer.
Are the exhaust stock ? They just have a great sound wonderful. And the music is always amazing.
They’re the Vance & Hines upgrade exhausts from stock, the have a great low rumble to them which I really like.

Hello; good Morning; very possible that you had this question before but I did not found it. Is about the flyscreen. Really cut the wind? or send the wind to your face or helmet? Remove the wind that go to the chest area? I have older T140s and a 49 500. Thanks. Cheers
Hi, I think much depends on your height, but for me I smooths the airflow out more than stops it. But it’s very comfortable up to about 80mph, after that the wind is too strong to keep the speed up for very long.

@@ClassicRides Just as a matter of interest, if you did the ride only, start to Finnish, how long would it take, in comparison to film the ride start to Finnish.
I actually did a video of this very thing, in respect of Snake Pass. Starting from the Mortimer Road junction going to Glossop, it takes about 20mins.

They’re the V&H pipes, not much louder than the standard pipes to be fair. But it was still very early and I don’t hate my neighbours that much 😁
