16:06 - Mary Shelley's original novel never gives the monster a name, although when speaking to his creator, Victor Frankenstein, the monster does say "I ought to be thy Adam"
7:34 "People from their past really need to stop showing up" lmao what a brilliant line. So accurate for the show in general. Great review, yours are ones of the best I've seen on RUclips. Your jokes, comments, references, pointing out some little holes are on top. Thanks to you I can recall all the episodes in such an enjoyable way and learn about some bts details I haven't heard of. Can't wait for your next video for the episode where such a beloved trio was introduced.
@@JBSpookyReview they really do that like all the time. On the other hand, we always know how these characters are gonna end up or they are just plot devices. So you know that even if they show up more than once, it's not a good idea to even try to get attached to them. It's kinda hilarious except for few exceptions when it's not.
@@JBSpookyReview yeah, sadly it is. It was especially upsetting in regards to lone gunmen. Such an adorable characters. I wish we had at least one character that could stay alive and happy. But the pattern it is. Mulder and Scully seem like a pretty scary duo that you'd rather avoid if you think about all the people they come across that mattered something to either of them. Update. And let's face it, not only people
That goes right over my head. I don't think I've seen anything monty python outside of the holy grail and that was only once in high school because my principle was an extra at the very end of it.
I am rewatching that show now. I was just telling one of my coworkers about that show and the pilot episode’s eerie similarities to 9/11 which aired just 8 months prior.
Thanks for another great review. I just watched this episode and somehow missed CSM was in this one haha! I assume when they went back to rescan and remaster the series for the blu ray release they were unable to find certain footage so they included the standard def for some shots. Do you plan on reviewing the FMV PC game? I love the heck out of it though it’s hard to get to run on modern computers.
You know even though he's in this i don't think he's actually playing CSM I think he's just generic government official as he really hasn't been established yet. As far as the games are concerned I have thought about covering them, it just wouldn't be for a while as my setup isn't exactly ideal for that.
EEEE! Roger Rabbit! AMEN to holding certain doctors ("doctors") to those same standards today! Ever notice how in Hollywood-land the bad guys always enter the homes of law enforcement people so easily? You'd think they'd have better security measures. This is one of those eps that felt almost like a new one to me. I've only seen it a couple of times. I'm always a sucker for the, "bad guy plays mind games with cop that put him away", trope, overused though it may be. Aw, so sweet about the little girl with progeria. HOLD UP! Was that supposed to be CSM in the operating room, interrogating Barnett? Was that actually William B. Davis?

Well my day just got better. Thanks Justin!
Hey well I'm glad I could help.
Im on this episode at the moment. Love sleeping to xfiles
Is there any better way to fall asleep?
I love each X files episode since the beginning. Amazing serie ❤

9:04 Jimmy Mc"Gill"MAN...

I liked it when Mulder's pre-XF career got revisited in the show. I wish there were more episodes like this and Paper Hearts.
Agreed, some more information about his past would be great.
That start was too good. Fellow X-philes
Haha I try.
End note of the video. Why is it so hard to get the lone gunmen on DVD or digital? I've never seen it available before
It was available on DVD years ago but went out of print shortly after. The price on it has went up since then.
@@JBSpookyReview I'm 95% the government bought all copies because they are afraid of the truth
Because it "predicted" (warned of) 9/11 six months before it happened. Can't have that circulating

I think they did a good job with it. I owned a salamander and it's pretty close.

This and breaking bad are the best series in tv history
I tried to watch breaking bad but gave up after the first season. It wasn't bad or anything, the subject matter just didn't appeal to me.
Solid episode. Is this the first time we see the cigarette smoking man in the series?

They kind of go back and fourth because there are many times where she saves Mulders butt and vice versa.
