GBRf Class 56 on the Logs
and an MOD train at Carlisle -
plus other trains!
07, 09 January 24
Filmed on two days mostly to chase 56098 which Colas have hired from GBRf whilst they are short of Class 70s etc. to run the Logs to Chirk.
We also see other trains, both passenger and freight including a GBRf freight to Longtown MOD depot.
The times shown on clips are for guidance only and shouldn't be taken as definitive.
Any observations are my own and not intended to show any authority and may show my misunderstanding.

Very evocative. Even though I support Carlisle united, Brunton park is only my second favourite place in Carlisle.
The railway station is a wonderful place to spend time and watch the world go by.
This video perfectly captures the ambiance. Love the locomotives too.

Hello Leslie a grand video as ever ! I used to go into longtown m.o.d spot .with ree-disribution in about 2003/4 area ..when i was on the carlisle run in the center and all around carlisle ..Kingstown ind est ..charlie coles some man ha 😅. Cole transport..fair days ! Some spotat lontown 😮😮that guard with a gun the size o tyson fury 😅lol 😊
