Did Wadi and Marss just FORGET that all the Final Fantasy music in Smash Ultimate is FROM FFVII ONLY. Not anything else. FFVII music is so distinct from the rest of the series it hurts.
They should make a quiz where they have to just guess either Final Fantasy, Xenoblade or Fire Emblem, and include songs from these games that aren't even in Smash.
My answers: 1) I knew it was Mario, desert, possibly an RPG like Paper Mario. Been too long to recognize it as Partners in Time. 2) Guar Plain Night. I know the day theme from anywhere. I did not however, spell it correctly. 3) I'm guessing one of the tracks from Terry's DLC (which may or may not be King of Fighters). I have not listened to every track of it. [Oh, Hard Man. I'd recognize Shadow Man more.] 4) Nights of Fate I think? Most recent DLC, freshest in our minds. I like how they all first said Final Fantasy, though that isn't completely wrong. 5) My only guess is Earthbound, can't pin it anywhere else. [Oh, this is the King of Fighters one. Dammit.] 6) I think that's the Lightning Chariot base from Kid Icarus Uprising? [Ah, Magnus. Duh. Forgot the dude existed.] 7) This might be an F-Zero song. It is. 8) Can't place this one at all. [Hey Pikmin. It had that feeling, but who the hell played that 3DS game?] 9) It's from Legend of Zelda, for sure. [Nope, Mystery of the Emblem. Never heard of that game.] 10) That's Dracula. I know. 11) Toys on a Tear? One of the Minecraft ones. [Clockwork Crafter. Coney was right on the clock part, didn't realize Bayonetta doesn't use clocks in the music.] 12) Fatal Bloom, Kirby Triple Deluxe. Unfortunately the two on the sides don't acknowledge the good Kirby tracks. 13) No clue. :< 14) Only guess is Metal Gear. [Bayo! I don't even know where Friendship had played there. Would've gotten Red and Black or something though.] 15) Wasn't this a Legend of Zelda minigame? No, those whistles... One of the lesser games, Wii Fit. Bam.
I KNEW IT WAS BAYONETTA AT SONG 14! Bayonetta has this style of piano playing that I've never heard before and also the main themes are this flare of jazz I've only heard with this series.
Had a good feeling after naming the first 4 songs but it got a lot harder but still was able to name the series on some of them. A lot of the DLC music is difficult because I haven’t played the game much after the initial release year or so.
After somehow acing the color quiz, I have returned to take this one! I listen to this music all the time. Okay, not as much as I used to. Let's get this over with They didn't outline a point system so I'm giving myself .5 points for correct franchise, 1 point for correct song name 0:48. Mario. Pretty sure the song is called Gritzy Desert, and I believe it's from a Paper Mario game. I put this one over Mushroomy Kingdom all the time 2:21. 1 point. Even spelled it right 2:40. Xenoblade Chronicles. Gaur Plain (Night). I was literally playing this game 2 hours ago 4:13. 1 point. Easiest money. I now have the strangest feeling that I'm going to struggle for the rest of this quiz 4:49. Castlevania. Not one of the ones I listen to on the regular, but it has that Castlevania sound to it. And don't worry Coney, I've watched enough of your content to not expect you to guess Xenoblade 6:34. 0 points. That makes sense. I did think of Mega Man, but something about how the guitar sounded just sounded more like Castlevania to me. Definitely a Mega Man rhythm though, should have listened to the voices. Shucks 7:04. Kingdom Hearts. Night of Fate. After Sora got added, I tried watching a Kingdom Hearts LP to see what all the fuss was about. Decided it wasn't my thing, but I did hear that song (it's one of the early battle themes I think) and remembered it, was then glad to find out it was in Smash. Only song they brought from KH I really vibed with 8:22. 1 Point. Upon further thought, there were a few other songs that made it in that I also enjoy, but Night of Fate is easily my favorite. Very catchy 8:32. Fatal Fury/K.o.F./SNK/whatever that playlist is classified as it has like 6 franchises in it. Immediately recognized it, but I can only remember part of the name. It's something like 173rd Street or something, I know the number has 3 digits and starts with a 1. There's another song called 11th Street that's a remix of this one (that sounds like something outta Sonic Adventure). I'll go with 173rd Street (could be 178th, but I'm sticking with 173) 9:54. 0 Points. So close on the name, and I should've been more confident in just putting K.o.F. by itself, so I'm not giving myself the .5 points. That's embarrasing. Surprised I never noticed the similarity to Wario music 10:22. Kid Icarus. Magnus' Theme. I'm now very glad I watched that Kid Icarus Uprising LP the other month or I would not have remembered the name. I might not even have been sure of the franchise, considering I thought it was from Fire Emblem for a second 12:44. 1 Point. Don't care that they wrote Magnus's Theme instead of Magnus' Theme, I'll be a stickler over grammer and take my points. Nice acapella WaDi. Moving on 13:07. F-Zero. Planet Colors. Took me a second, haven't listened to it in a while. Only reason I remember is because the name reminds me of Sonic Colors, and it has a weirdly different sound to the other F-Zero songs 14:28. 1 Point. Vroom vroom 14:43. Pikmin. Maybe, possibly, I think, no idea honestly. Is it cheating if they show up on screen before I pause to think? That last noise right before I paused sounded verrrrrrrrry Pikmin 15:38. .5 Points. I am not proud of that for multiple reasons 16:19. Fire Emblem. I feel like I should know the name. Under This Banner. Probably wrong, but I don't have any better ideas. Wrong answers don't lose me any points so I'll throw it out there 17:25. *WHAT?* How did I get that name right and not the K.o.F. one? I have literally only ever heard the first three seconds of this song whenever I skip through the F.E. playlist to find some other song I can't remember the name of. What is wrong with my memory? Oh right, 1 point. Good job TK 17:46. Castlevania. Nothing to Lose. Crazy how they did Dracula phase 2 in the first one of these and now they finally get to phase 1 18:34. 1 Point. Doesn't sound like any Final Fantasy song I've ever heard. Then again, I guess I've only heard VII's and the first one's soundtrack so what do I know? 18:50. Minecraft. Clockwork Crafter. Only Minecraft song that isn't remixed. I think 19:29. 1 point. They're all gonna call B.S., watch 20:18. Kirby. Fatal Blooms in Moonlight. Also TK, I know these because I constantly pipe music into my brain whenever I'm working on something. Valuable memory space taken up by sound wave patterns 21:38. 1 point. Had to remind myself that there's no "the" between "in" and "Moonlight" Only started listening to that song recently. Glad I did 21:54. Persona. Battle Hymn for the Soul. Thought it was Rivers in the Desert for a second and realized that was so wrong. Battle Hymn for the Soul. Is that the name? I'm definitely close. Persona 3 if you want to be picky 23:20. .5 points. I was definitely close. Crazy how both me and Marss got one because we played the game the song was from recently. Forgot it was also known by another name 23:54. Bayonetta. Friendship. Not confident in the name and only partially confident that it's Bayonetta, but I'm sticking with it before I overthink myself into a corner 25:15. 1 point. Memories to last a lifetime. Not of friends or experiences, only music 26:00. Mario Kart. Don't ask me what the name is I do not care. I say Mario Kart instead of Mario because Smash list them in separate playlists for no reason at all 27:12. 0 points. I'm gonna leave right alongside WaDi Alright 11/15. Just over 2/3 if I counted that right. I don't remember how I did on the other quizzes, and I'm not comparing. Goodbye, and I look forward to the next music quiz!

"Shut up and leave a comment"
Never change Coney.
So according to the pandas, all smash music is from fire emblem and final fantasy
8:28 I thought it was sonic but then wadi said sonic so I immediately backtracked and got it. Thanks
TK guessing Fire Emblem is just WaDi guessing Xenoblade all over again lmaooooo
I love this just because it's the one quiz I always do well in. Not like I go perfect on it but I don't think I've ever not come in first.
Almost like I'm bad at the game but I love listening to the music... crazy, right?
Idea for a new quiz: guessing the origin series, for songs that aren't actually in smash, but are from series that are in smash
As soon as Castlevania dropped I immediately said "Hell yeah now we actually got music in this"
That Castlevania song is SICK! Damn that's some kick ass metal.
Castlevania music goes hard
wadi hitting the boost was incredible, i think we all need a wadi hitting the boost in our lives
TK Didn’t have to do elegant like that 😭
Literally made top eight at the last summit
I only got 5 for this. I counted 2 points for Kirby because I've only ever known that song as Moonstruck Blossom. You could not tell me a single Kirby fan has didn't called that song either Sectonia phase 2 or Moonstruck Blossom.
6:11 literally has the main jingle of Fire Emblem. That part that they were singing is the main jingle, lol
22:45 the Persona song also devolves into a slower Velvet Room theme which you'd just recognize if you played *any* Persona game.
@@Heriarka i played strikers. I didn't hear it at first, lol
WaDi keeps guessing Final Fantasy because it sounds "whimsical", literally ALL of the Final Fantasy music in Smash comes from a grim cyberpunk game about ecoterrorism.
I love how they are just acting like brothers. It feels like they are just friends having a good time at like family feud or something
I love Tk in this vid, i'm so glad he joined Panda
I find it funny how they always answer "Final Fantasy" when in doubt, when FF only has 8 songs, all from VII, and all immediately recognizable.
Well 3 Final Fantasy songs come from the Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children movie which a decent amount of people don't know about
lol
@@Antonio-is2cn Well, they're still remixes of the game's songs, so I'd still say they're recognizable, although they're, admittedly, a lot more metal.
Breezy laughing at Coneys guess of Kirby while he disrespects Chun Lis iconic theme 🤣
The first one had me… Used to play partners in time all the time when I was younger! WHAT A FLOOD OF NOSTALGIA!
I knew it never was Final Fantasy because FF has like 10 tracks that are all recognizable (in smash)
In the Magnus theme i have that song in my head because i played a Lot of super smash flash 2 and it was almost always in the kid Icarus stage
Battle hymn of the soul came on and I immediately thought “Elizabeth’s theme” because I play way to much Persona 4 Arena
8:26 WaDi, I feel your pain. Ik the KH plot but don’t call myself a fan. And you haven’t even heard the title Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth By Sleep ~ A Fragmentary Passage.
I'm surprised no one knew Gritzy Desert, Mario & Luigi Partners In Time is a banger game
That hey pikmin intro beat was kind of 🔥
Did Wadi and Marss just FORGET that all the Final Fantasy music in Smash Ultimate is FROM FFVII ONLY. Not anything else. FFVII music is so distinct from the rest of the series it hurts.
That's what I was thinking the whole time
14:30 this editing was so good
They should make a quiz where they have to just guess either Final Fantasy, Xenoblade or Fire Emblem, and include songs from these games that aren't even in Smash.
FUCK YEAH I REMEMBERED MAGNUS'S THEME AND I'M SO PROUD OF MYSELF
I guessed Bayonetta on the Kirby one and I played Kirby: Triple Deluxe!
I'm just vibing out to Hard Man's theme as they all flail helplessly.
15:35 Hey! Pikmin is a game. It was on the 3DS
My answers:
1) I knew it was Mario, desert, possibly an RPG like Paper Mario.
I'd recognize Shadow Man more.]
4) Nights of Fate I think? Most recent DLC, freshest in our minds. I like how they all first said Final Fantasy, though that isn't completely wrong.
5) My only guess is Earthbound, can't pin it anywhere else. [Oh, this is the King of Fighters one. Dammit.]
6) I think that's the Lightning Chariot base from Kid Icarus Uprising? [Ah, Magnus. Duh. Forgot the dude existed.]
7) This might be an F-Zero song. It is.
8) Can't place this one at all. [Hey Pikmin. It had that feeling, but who the hell played that 3DS game?]
9) It's from Legend of Zelda, for sure. [Nope, Mystery of the Emblem. Never heard of that game.]
10) That's Dracula. I know.
11) Toys on a Tear? One of the Minecraft ones. [Clockwork Crafter. Coney was right on the clock part, didn't realize Bayonetta doesn't use clocks in the music.]
12) Fatal Bloom, Kirby Triple Deluxe. Unfortunately the two on the sides don't acknowledge the good Kirby tracks.
13) No clue. :<
14) Only guess is Metal Gear. [Bayo! I don't even know where Friendship had played there. Would've gotten Red and Black or something though.]
15) Wasn't this a Legend of Zelda minigame? No, those whistles... One of the lesser games, Wii Fit. Bam.
its telling that the only one i recognized immediately is the kirby one but kirby songs are just that good
14:35 never heard this song before, I was so ready for TK to hit some bars
We really got the best universe where tk actually became a panda
I KNEW IT WAS BAYONETTA AT SONG 14! Bayonetta has this style of piano playing that I've never heard before and also the main themes are this flare of jazz I've only heard with this series.
Had a good feeling after naming the first 4 songs but it got a lot harder but still was able to name the series on some of them. A lot of the DLC music is difficult because I haven’t played the game much after the initial release year or so.
I would love to join in on these quizzes! These are so much to watch. No worries Mars. I'm a nerd too! :p
i love when the content is so good it makes me watch stuff about games i don't play
Sectonia's theme is my favorite song in all kirby games.
Wadi is a treasure. His thought process is awesome to watch
I do so bad on these quizzes, literally just wait for Kirby to appear so I can guess it in 0.01 seconds
After somehow acing the color quiz, I have returned to take this one! I listen to this music all the time. Okay, not as much as I used to. Let's get this over with
They didn't outline a point system so I'm giving myself .5 points for correct franchise, 1 point for correct song name
0:48. Mario. Pretty sure the song is called Gritzy Desert, and I believe it's from a Paper Mario game. I put this one over Mushroomy Kingdom all the time
2:21. 1 point. Even spelled it right
2:40. Xenoblade Chronicles. Gaur Plain (Night). I was literally playing this game 2 hours ago
4:13. 1 point. Easiest money. I now have the strangest feeling that I'm going to struggle for the rest of this quiz
4:49. Castlevania. Not one of the ones I listen to on the regular, but it has that Castlevania sound to it. And don't worry Coney, I've watched enough of your content to not expect you to guess Xenoblade
6:34. 0 points. That makes sense. I did think of Mega Man, but something about how the guitar sounded just sounded more like Castlevania to me. Definitely a Mega Man rhythm though, should have listened to the voices. Shucks
7:04. Only song they brought from KH I really vibed with
8:22. 1 Point. Upon further thought, there were a few other songs that made it in that I also enjoy, but Night of Fate is easily my favorite. Very catchy
8:32. I'll go with 173rd Street (could be 178th, but I'm sticking with 173)
9:54. 0 Points. So close on the name, and I should've been more confident in just putting K.o.F. by itself, so I'm not giving myself the .5 points. That's embarrasing. Surprised I never noticed the similarity to Wario music
10:22. Kid Icarus. Magnus' Theme. I'm now very glad I watched that Kid Icarus Uprising LP the other month or I would not have remembered the name. I might not even have been sure of the franchise, considering I thought it was from Fire Emblem for a second
12:44. 1 Point. Don't care that they wrote Magnus's Theme instead of Magnus' Theme, I'll be a stickler over grammer and take my points. Nice acapella WaDi. Moving on
13:07. F-Zero. Planet Colors. Took me a second, haven't listened to it in a while. Only reason I remember is because the name reminds me of Sonic Colors, and it has a weirdly different sound to the other F-Zero songs
14:28. 1 Point. Vroom vroom
14:43. Pikmin. Maybe, possibly, I think, no idea honestly. Is it cheating if they show up on screen before I pause to think? That last noise right before I paused sounded verrrrrrrrry Pikmin
15:38. .5 Points. I am not proud of that for multiple reasons
16:19. Fire Emblem. I feel like I should know the name. Under This Banner. Probably wrong, but I don't have any better ideas. Wrong answers don't lose me any points so I'll throw it out there
17:25. *WHAT?* How did I get that name right and not the K.o.F. one? I have literally only ever heard the first three seconds of this song whenever I skip through the F.E. playlist to find some other song I can't remember the name of. What is wrong with my memory? Oh right, 1 point. Good job TK
17:46. Castlevania. Nothing to Lose. Crazy how they did Dracula phase 2 in the first one of these and now they finally get to phase 1
18:34. 1 Point. Doesn't sound like any Final Fantasy song I've ever heard. Then again, I guess I've only heard VII's and the first one's soundtrack so what do I know?
18:50. Minecraft. Clockwork Crafter. Only Minecraft song that isn't remixed. I think
19:29. 1 point. They're all gonna call B.S., watch
20:18. Kirby. Fatal Blooms in Moonlight. Also TK, I know these because I constantly pipe music into my brain whenever I'm working on something. Valuable memory space taken up by sound wave patterns
21:38. 1 point. Had to remind myself that there's no "the" between "in" and "Moonlight" Only started listening to that song recently. Glad I did
21:54. Persona. Battle Hymn for the Soul. Thought it was Rivers in the Desert for a second and realized that was so wrong. Battle Hymn for the Soul. Is that the name? I'm definitely close. Persona 3 if you want to be picky
23:20. .5 points. I was definitely close. Crazy how both me and Marss got one because we played the game the song was from recently. Forgot it was also known by another name
23:54. Bayonetta. Friendship. Not confident in the name and only partially confident that it's Bayonetta, but I'm sticking with it before I overthink myself into a corner
25:15. 1 point. Memories to last a lifetime. Not of friends or experiences, only music
26:00. Mario Kart. Don't ask me what the name is I do not care. I say Mario Kart instead of Mario because Smash list them in separate playlists for no reason at all
27:12. 0 points. I'm gonna leave right alongside WaDi
Alright 11/15. Just over 2/3 if I counted that right. I don't remember how I did on the other quizzes, and I'm not comparing. Goodbye, and I look forward to the next music quiz!
I've been waiting for this to return, I missed the classic music quizzes.
Also, 25:01, metal gear's answer to sonic and the secret rings. In terms of repeated tracks at least...
12:25 WaDi literally gave me the answer when he said what he said, and then he proceeded to guess wrong. Lol
