- Smash Ultimate has a MASSIVE collection of some of, without a doubt, the greatest gaming music in history. Although some of these songs are iconic, such a GIGANTIC playlist must even stump our PROS. We quizzed Marss, ESAM & WaDi on some of Smash Ultimate's background music.

DK64 straight up uses unused Banjo Kazooie tracks if I remember correctly. That question was a tricky one for me too!
He also did DKC, DKC2, and DKC3 so to be fair he did DK before Banjo was even a thought, same with Conker's Bad Furday!

It took me a bit of time to realize it was Vega's Theme but I got it eventually. I've only really listened to the version from Street Fighter 2 so the Piano really threw me off at first.

That tune of the Kirby Forest Stage dug the deepest memory out of my mind from Kirby and the Amazing Mirror. (10/10 game)

I felt the same way with Vega's theme and the Forest Stage.
Amazing mirror music is stuck in my soul because of how long I got stuck everywhere
I felt insulted that they didn't get that one when I did and I do not consider myself a big fan of Kirby or Kirby music.
(I don't dislike the franchise or anything, it's just that there's way too many video games out there to play lol)

@Diamond Aura At least all? That doesn’t make sense, but I get what you mean. If you mean recognize, like, tell you that the song is in smash, I could probably do that with at least 90% of the tracks, but some of the songs I didn’t get right. Some of them I knew right away, some of them were on the tip of my tongue, but I could not get all of them.

Via Dolce is the only one that completely threw me for a loop, though the Mario Party one took me a moment to remember.
I absolutely love these quizzes. The music tracks in Smash are *almost* all super iconic! (Obviously things like Environmental Noises doesn’t count.) But I need more of these in my life cause I was on top of all of these! (Also I was jamming the whole time lol)

I think the reason Mars was the only one who recognized Toys on a Tear from Minecraft was because the track isn’t a part of the original Minecraft ost, but a track for the minigames in it’s console editions.
Being a steve main really helped here.

Yo, me being younger then all of them (not by much mind you) and having played both Kof and Tekken, it hurt my soul when they said only people like in there forties plays it.
Gotta defend my man Marss real quick, DK was actually a solid guess, I’d say the best wrong answer he could’ve given. DK64 had music written by Grant Kirkhope, who was *the* Banjo Kazooie guy, around the same time he was scoring for Banjo, and on the same sound chip. In particular I’d suggest taking a listen to the K Rool Duel theme, I could very much so believe it being a Banjo theme.

Hearing all of them get Vega's theme wrong made me sad, but in fairness to Marss for the Banjo-Tooie song, it sounds like something out of Donkey Kong 64. I had a moment of hesitation when he said it, but stuck with Banjo.
