I grew up in the Cleveland,Ohio area..we did get Ian Dury & Blockheads.. Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll was kind of like local Anthem..lol Talking to some friends the only Madness song we knew about or was even played was "Our House".. We were robbed.

Ian Dury didn’t have things like the height, a velvety clean voice, the looks, or even near perfect health to make him an ideal rock star. However, the dude more than made up for it in attitude, heart, and intelligence.
Its really a shame how us "yanks" were robbed of Madness and Ian Dury, although not as much. We only were allowed a one hit wonder from MADNESS Glad their is You Tube..And Rest in Peace Mr. Love Pants.
