Jaguar XJ6 nr MB 141 Matchbox restoration. Diecast car. Body repair

The Jaguar was produced in 1987 at the Macao Plant. Production lasted until 1997 and was moved to Thailand and later to China. This model uses a universal box that fits all models from series 1 to 75. My Jaguar was in very poor condition. Despite the lack of a roof pole and a cracked body, I managed to restore it to a good condition.

Elegancko jak zawsze. ten modelik pod koniec produkcji miał plastikowe podwozie, mam takiego w wersji angielskiej policji. z tego co pamiętam miałem chyba i z Corgi takiego Jaga, swoją drogą Corgi miało bardzo dużo bliźniaczych modeli do matchboxa, niemniej jednak matchbox zawsze wydawał mi się solidniejszy i masywniejszy oraz wyposażony w lepsze detale jak np. koła

Fantastic Job Paul Just Awesome the pillar for the Front Windshield repair was Cool!! After the Paint Job you couldn't tell is was repaired!! Awesome! Also did you know that if you drop the plastic windshield in "nadtlenek wodoru
" for a day or so, it should come out clearer and not yellowish.
Anyways as always Paul Thank You for the Restoration Videos you always do awesome work!!!

Thank you very much. I didn't know about hydrogen peroxide. Only how many must be percentage? I will try to use this knowledge with yellowed plastics. On the other hand, the glass in the Jaguar was dyed yellow at the factory, and light blue in later models. Best wishes

@@PaulRestorer I didn't know that the windshield is originally yellow. Hydrogen Peroxide from the store is fine. It can take time but it does restore the plastic to it's original color. I tried it on a Lego Figure and it restored the pink color from Sun Burn. It took 2 days.
