Hey man, im really dumb and have never used google drive before. The link for the patches shows a few different patches ranging from (1.7-4.7). Do I need to download them all or just the most recent one? Thanks!

Pro tips from a guy that already finished the game 2 times and I start the 3rd. When u start the game farm as much money as possible through used guns and artifacts. Put them in stashes, always travel light don't get involved in killing dumb mutants (they will always have the same spawning point). Carry batteries with you and meds. Sell as much as you can and buy the freedom exo from the guy in garbage as soon as possible. Don't waste money on gun modifications because soon you will get pretty good gear + you will get nice guns from stashes as well. Always KEEP the really good artifacts and carry them with you all the time even if you don't use them because there are quests where are a lot of anomalies and u need some protection. Again, try and get the exo as soon as possible because when u will have to exit dark valley after u finish the quest in the underneath lab you will have to leave in a weird map with an weird strong controller who will kill you really quick if you are not prepared. Also it will be annoying because he will teleport you back. (If you need help to find him, just comment me so I don't spoil to soon). Also if some of you need to know some special locations for really good guns let me know. Most of them are close to end game but they still can be used. Especially in the end game, they will help you a lot. ALSO I forgot, try to farm the Pelicle artifact (If i remember correctly this is it's name). It's an really OP artifact found in the chemical anomalies. Its an really OP artifact that will help you a lot throughout the game especially in the underneath labs, in the quest leaving dark valley and farming other artifacts.
One tip for new players: If you come across Sweeper and then later have to grab the military radio under the tunnel, do it. Because I didn't get the cutscene because I waited for too long. Don't kill the poltergeists either before you talk to the technician in Cordon. These two scenarios caused my storyline to stagnate and had to restart from scratch almost.
I killed the poltergeist straight away and no problem, did you install the patches? I installed all the patches and have had 0 problems, not even crashes and im +20 hours in the game
@@paskaalisaapaskaa5354 This issue occurred before the patches and is probably very rare because of the 2 events that have to occur like I described above. Maybe this wouldn't happen on a new game with patches already installed. Who knows..
can anyone help me. my game works fine with launching it but getting into the actual game I crash on direct X 9 but not direct X 10 or 11 anyone know why?
I tried the mod and when i was fighting the military under the bridge, i shot the helmetless dude in the head with an AK and he just flinched and didnt even aggro me. (same thing happened with other pistols + it was on master difficulty btw) These extremely bad bugs in the basic combat itself turned me off and i just stopped playing, because it was either i fight the military or the squad of 5000 tushkanos at the mill.. There was just nothing to get excited about and im sorry to say that, because the mod really did look promissing and i am a big fan of stalker. And despite the game looking a lot worse than Gamma, it actually performs much worse for me. Might give it another go later on, but right now i really dont see the point.
Do you really think gamma became what is it today from get go..first it was call of chernobyl (coc)...coc had many variants or version like 1.3 , then came 1.4.22. Then came coc 1.5. simultaneously there was call of misery. Then came anomaly which is upgraded version of coc 1.5. anomaly introduced coc and com best feature together. Then came countless addons for it. Then came gamma modpack. It takes years to become something flawless. Despite all the bugs , I still give this mod 9/10 just for the efforts and trying something new and bold.

yea i managed to kill them in the end after like 10 attempts, because i ran in with a pistol, killed one guy and grabbed his AK then killed the rest, but really their AI is so braindead like they literally don't aggro sometimes and the gunplay feels really awkward imo also @@lukasgroot
The agroprom tech does all the upgrades I noticed after I turned them into the cordon tech, so I imagine if you didnt find the tools he'd still upgrade all your stuff but I could be mistaken. But this mightve changed in the new update as well
First time playing Stalker is going to be thru this. Feels kinda insane. No tutorial so far, most of my knowledge is based on your Invictus runs over the years.
Important tip: found out that most wooden crates have dedicated loot, rather than randomized. I got a Freedom scientific suit in the bandit base, deagle in the Agroprom swamp
Im pretty sure the new updates fixed the Poltergeist quest in the new village map, before i couldnt unlock the safe in the car and thanks to your video and the patches i could finish the quest and get some really nice rewards. Thanks Cheeki.
The reason why enemies feel very bully spongy, is because assault rifles only do 10-13 damage per shot, while most.pistols do between 17-19, and shotguns are between 55-75, and kill most things in one shot..later Weapons like the SVD do 100+. It's messed up damage value,
There was a "better ballistics" mod in the addons section of mod db but I think it got taken back down (after I downloaded it luckily). Im using that mod but with muzzle velocities set back to original values and gravity constant reduced to 5.0 instead, and cam_relax_ai configs reduced to 10% of original - which makes the whole thing feel MUCH better - very similar to Anomaly but even better thanks to the cam_relax_ai fix (which i also use in Anomaly).

For some reason the not showing of items is worse in True Stalker than any other mod / version of STALKER - and increasing the info radius in actor.ltx really doesn't seem to work like it normally does...

This is a weird error. My game won't start at all, even though I disabled my virus protector. tried multiple times, playing sound in the background, but nothing works. just keeps saying openal can't create Even got the game updated
You answered the "give tools to technician?" question completely wrong. There are multiple other technicians later in the game and they will either only be able to repair or they will be able to to all mods without tools. It's just the Cordon technician who ever needs those tools.
Do you have any tips for increasing performance? I wasn't able to find the balanced settings for performance and quality, and I'm getting fps drops and stutters especially in crowded areas.
Its really on the engine man. I have a RTX 4060 with a AMD 7. Yet i suffer stutters too sometimes, just put it on maximum and deal with it, you’ll notice that most of the time the stutters happen when you load into a new area, after that it mostly stops.

excellent advices, especially about personal storage. Notice that your area looks darker and more autumnal, mine looks very summer and spring, are you using any environment or wather mod?
A great combo that works a lot for me: kill all the mutants and grab all their stuff, also go through all the anomalies and get their artifacts. Stash everything in the closest shared stash and go to the Bar. Take the missions barman gives you - they are mutant parts and artifacts. He pays you more money and also gives you items for these quest rewards.

i bought assault suit very early, i didnt really buy anything at the beginning so i had a lot of money and i didnt know if i could run in exoskeleton and if not if i can upgrade it to be able to run, the technician in agroprom doesnt need any tools and he can do all the upgrades so when you get to that point and you dont have the tools you dont need them anymore, and dont buy guns, you will find great weapons all the tine in stash or on stalkers, they cary AS VAL, VSS, etc. i found SG550 and Groza in stashes...
Im having a bit of a problem, if i download it from google disk every file seems to be okay except for the ts_setup.exe basically it has 0kb and I cant even open it cuz it says that its not found, and automatically deletes it from my PC....any help..? or someone experienced it ???

I looked everywhere on Mod db and only found the patches... looks great, I've been playing Clear Sky with the Complete Mod... the mission spawn points are weird but it plays ok. Came back to Anomaly with a clean install and update to 1.5.2, and just enjoying vanilla Anomaly experience as a Merc. What a legendary game! SALUTE TO THE DEVS! AND TO YOU CHEEKI BREEKI! ⚡️⚡️

I have a consistent bug after "killing the master" I walk out of the tunnel and the cutscene doesn't trigger, I've reloaded even before that entire level and did the entire "heist" and broke out the stalker yet still the cutscene doesn't trigger I just spawn on the normal overworld with it saying "Escape to the surface" *quick edit* I'm playing on 1.4 but also had the bug one the normal 1.0
Ok so freedom exoskeleton comes with servoboosters upgrade so you can run with it right away, dont know about regular one but i imagine its not upgraded... freedom one costs 117000RU you can get it pretty early if you dont buy anything and save all the artefacts etc. you dont need to but ammo meds or food you have a LOT of this from loot, and also guns are pletifull and you get special versions througout the game so no need to spen money on that either, so my tip is to save money for exo and then its ez game
Is there a Duty exoskeleton in this mod? I know that you can buy the regular one and Freedom one from the smuggler in Garbage, but so far im on the chapter 5 and I havent come across one yet.
2 additional tips, there is a RPG7 with 2 rockets under a bed in the bloodsucker village in army warehouses. and during the "battle royal" you can find a free exoskeleton in an air duct on the floor.
Really appreciate the effort that went into this mod and it is awesome except for the excessive amount of cut scenes, I'm going to pass on this one and wait and see if the modding community fixes it. I'm glad other people really like it.
You can buy them from the smuggler at the train depot in Garbage, but you need proceed with the story and upgrade him or he's gonna just sell ammo and grenades. Personally I was able to buy scopes after unlocking the way for the Bar. Sorry for eventual grammatical mistakes.
Artifacts in your inventory don't irradiate you, only the ones attached in your belt. You probably just have radiation poisoning from walking in radioactive areas etc... drink some vodka / take some antirad pills
3:00 Well, I tested it here and it didn't work. Maybe it was patched in the 1.4 update... 6:34 So, I saved enough money to buy the Freedom Exoskeleton from that guy in garbage. I did a small/fast test run with it and it seems super good. It weights almost nothing (considering its size) and it also adds a quite good amount of extra carry weight to your character. But after wasting my super hard earned 20K with the Sunrise Suit at the beginning of the game, I became traumatized with buying armor. So, what you guys can tell me? Can I buy it without fear? Or will I get one for free very soon (I just finished the mission to kill the Master). I got the Assault Suit but didn't like it that much, I found it too heavy for the amount of carry weight it gives.

I'm really surprised no-one's talking about the branching paths of the quests. Definitely the most pleasant surprise for me going in blind.

This game looks too much clear to be a stalker game. Where is the grittiness?

I honestly hadn't heard of this mod until it came out but it's been an absolute treat so far.
You have to give Tools to Technician to upgrade or rapair items. Carying them in the Backpack doesn't work

I managed to kill them with one or two dart shells. Playing on Veteran.

Not sure if people know this, but if you're struggling to spot items, hold your use key and the name of said item will appear. Default is "F".
Stalker veterans use this tip like its breathing air.
The range in this one is very short though, I keep picking up the items before I can read what it is.

If the game says that it’s saving but isn’t, run the game in Administrator Mode. Windows 11 won’t let it write files otherwise.

Antivirus / windows defender most likely giving you a false positive and deleting the file
The shared stashes and the sidearm slot are the two things that I really, really missed in the vanilla games.
Where can I download this demo? I looked everywhere on Mod db and only found the patches... looks great, I've been playing Clear Sky with the Complete Mod... the mission spawn points are weird but it plays ok.
Came back to Anomaly with a clean install and update to 1.5.2, and just enjoying vanilla Anomaly experience as a Merc. What a legendary game! SALUTE TO THE DEVS! AND TO YOU CHEEKI BREEKI! ⚡️⚡️

About the game, this is my first Stalker game and just after a few hours exploring Cordon i bought the original trilogy
is this game more streamlined than anomaly/gamma? i wanna get into these games due to the atmosphere but the million healing items and wounds mechanic and the confusing weapon repair always put me off, just wanna shoot stuff and explore and experience the story....sorry i'm not a hardcore gamer and i'm usually too tired to learn complex games these days

Hello I have a problem with this mod. I did all the missions in cordon but I cant leave. When I approach the exit to Garbage its says PASSAGE IS BLOCKED. What did I done wrong What is happening?
how do you install it? i cant at all..i got it through google drive and it just show ts_setup and the 2-5 but when i try to start it, it just asks for a disk and i try to select the setups but it wont work.

I have a consistent bug after "killing the master" I walk out of the tunnel and the cutscene doesn't trigger, I've reloaded even before that entire level and did the entire "heist" and broke out the stalker yet still the cutscene doesn't trigger I just spawn on the normal overworld with it saying "Escape to the surface" *quick edit* I'm playing on 1.4 but also had the bug one the normal 1.0

I have 5.1 speakers but game running in stereo mode? and yes other games/films are running in 5.1 with no issue.

Ok so freedom exoskeleton comes with servoboosters upgrade so you can run with it right away, dont know about regular one but i imagine its not upgraded... freedom one costs 117000RU you can get it pretty early if you dont buy anything and save all the artefacts etc. you dont need to but ammo meds or food you have a LOT of this from loot, and also guns are pletifull and you get special versions througout the game so no need to spen money on that either, so my tip is to save money for exo and then its ez game

Is there a Duty exoskeleton in this mod? I know that you can buy the regular one and Freedom one from the smuggler in Garbage, but so far im on the chapter 5 and I havent come across one yet.
I like True Stalker, but I thought the end game and ending was pretty lame. Left a lot to be desired

2 additional tips, there is a RPG7 with 2 rockets under a bed in the bloodsucker village in army warehouses. and during the "battle royal" you can find a free exoskeleton in an air duct on the floor.
Really appreciate the effort that went into this mod and it is awesome except for the excessive amount of cut scenes, I'm going to pass on this one and wait and see if the modding community fixes it. I'm glad other people really like it.

regarding the difficulty: in original stalker, the high difficulty = higher damage universally is a myth. is it actually true in this mod?

You can buy them from the smuggler at the train depot in Garbage, but you need proceed with the story and upgrade him or he's gonna just sell ammo and grenades. Personally I was able to buy scopes after unlocking the way for the Bar. Sorry for eventual grammatical mistakes.

How do you drop items from inventory. Im being killed by 2 artifacts but for the life of me I cant drop them or sell them. Any help appreciated
Artifacts in your inventory don't irradiate you, only the ones attached in your belt. You probably just have radiation poisoning from walking in radioactive areas etc... drink some vodka / take some antirad pills

6:34 So, I saved enough money to buy the Freedom Exoskeleton from that guy in garbage. I did a small/fast test run with it and it seems super good. It weights almost nothing (considering its size) and it also adds a quite good amount of extra carry weight to your character. But after wasting my super hard earned 20K with the Sunrise Suit at the beginning of the game, I became traumatized with buying armor. So, what you guys can tell me? Can I buy it without fear? Or will I get one for free very soon (I just finished the mission to kill the Master). I got the Assault Suit but didn't like it that much, I found it too heavy for the amount of carry weight it gives.
How the fuck do I repair weapons? I still haven't figured it out.
