I, for one, appreciate your honest assessment and opinion of any companies you refer to in you videos. People need to remember that your business plan is not the same as their business plan, and as such, opinions and assessments are inevitably going to vary. And I have seen nothing so far that would open a way for Mercer to sue based on anything you have said in these videos. Facts are facts, and you have never said anything bad about the company, but just how it wasn't a good fit for you with your current business model. Keep up the great vids.
Thanks, I really appreciate that. I'm not trying to attack anyone or discourage anyone from going somewhere, i just try to give an honest assessment of my experiences, so that it might help people with similar views and strategies. Again, thanks for your comment, we appreciate the support!
Every company has its fanboys. Company is God & does no wrong. I'd never go to mercer, trailer fee alone would axe my interest, let alone all the other things.
Really like your vlogs, however, I can't understand why you are dissing Mercer. IMO, that is not professional. I have a number of friends who are with both Mercer and Landstar. Me, I prefer my independence operating under my authority.
Hi, thank you for your comment and for watching. I do sincerely apologize if I came off as "dissing" Mercer in my response, that was not my intention. They are not bad people to work for, their model just does not fit my personality or business strategy. I put this video out in response to few comments that I was "full of crap", "was lying", and "should be sued by Mercer because I lying". Look, I don't really care where anyone goes, I just try to put out accurate accounts on my personal experiences, and my opinion of those experiences. We can agree or disagree, but I will not be flat out called a liar on my channel without any evidence or intelligent conversation. I am human, I don't always get it right, but I am not so prideful as to not admit it when I am wrong, I do it often. As I have said before, it doesn't really matter where we go, the system is really rigged to where it all works out about the same in the end, its just a matter as to what works for the individual in the end. Landstar is a better fit for me, Mercer was not, and several of the rules/ procedures there were a major frustration for me, but that's not for everyone, but I try to inform others from my experiences. I will leave it at that, as I have no desire to engage in a tic for tac comment battle as to which company is better, because in reality, neither is, its just what works better for the individual, and that's what I've tried to express, even though I am slightly biased towards Landstar, since its been a better fit for me. Anyways, thanks for watching and for comments, and again, I apologize if it seems I went over the line, that wasn't my intention.
