Maybe because the Commanders were actually a decent team, who started the season 2-0. They had a new OC, a new starting QB and since it was early in the season, other teams didn’t have a chance to figure them out, yet.
When it comes to the Cowboys, they always have games throughout the season every year, where they play great, then they stumble, and completely fall apart as the end of the calendar year nears.
They got 5 game left, and 4 of them are against top level teams, which is clearly the most difficult stretch of the season for them, so let’s see how they do, before everyone decides to crown them the best team in the league, and Dak an MVP.

I expected better from Sherman. It’s been over a decade since the eagles swept the cowboys. Going on about a single field goal from the pats, saying that the cowboys got blown out despite the fact that they put up 41 points, going on about the bills battle testing the eagles yet they have the same record as the Seahawks, Keyshawn talking about Geno being unhealthy yet completely ignores how Dak was also unhealthy last year when he led the league in interceptions and lost to the number 1 defense in the NFL, talking about the eagles defense closing it out in the end yet that’s exactly what our defense does, and how the jets were an easy team for the cowboys to beat yet the eagles failed to do the same and how we were excellent on all cylinders against the eagles in week 9 yet we have absolutely no run game. It’s a battle for the division boys, let’s make it 15-0. And y’all can keep talking about the dolphins too but you know what? They haven’t won against a “winning team” either. Call me a terrible fan, but I've been disappointed with this team since Week 1. From a close game against the Patriots to our loss to Jets, there's been signs this whole season that things were shaky in Philly. I think the difference in a lot of the games that we've won was talent and the ability of the players (no, not luck). Our defense has been sadly suspect this year but theyve been able to make plays here and there and very few teams have what it takes to stifle our offense for ALL four quarters of a game. THAT has been the reason for our 10 wins. Against mid range and good teams, that works, but against juggernauts like 49ers and ravens, you have to bring more to the table as a team and an organization. I believe they have the ability to turn it around though, but it starts with coaching. That staff had the 49ers READY to play at the Linc. Sure, we had 3 games in 13 days and they were coming off a bye, but that's no excuse and none of the players are mentioning that either. Your mental prep still needs to be there and you still need to show up! The 49ers came to fight and we didn't match the intensity and it resulted in us getting punched in the mouth. I believe Philly is still elite and I think Philly has the capacity to get back before the end of the season, I just doubt it will happen before this Sunday at Dallas. 😢

Let's compare a game vs a team we have both played and got smoked by. Dak throws 153 yards and 1 TD and 3 picks. Hurts threw for 298 1 TD, 0 picks, and ran for a TD. Eagles put up 19 on SF Dallas put up 10. Team stats 421 yards for SF and 197 for Dallas. 456 yards for SF and 333 for Eagles. Which team performed better against SF?

Buffalo's issue is that they lost some close games due to terrible coaching decisions down the stretch. Seattle has been losing games with wider margins and only have one win where they blew out a team (ny giants). Philadelphia is better than Dallas at this point with a smaller point differential, but the key here is they have a positive differential, not negative like Seattle's.
I want Dallas to win the Super Bowl not only cause they are my team and it’s been too long, but cause I’d love to see key and Sherman’s excuses for that 😂

@@jsmove5 the truth is the Dallas d and the Philly d are just not very good. Having Seattle come to your place and put 35 on the board after not scoring a td for seven previous quarters and after the Niners went to Seattle and didn’t let them in the end zone once is very telling.
It is a fact that Dak has rolled up these stats on bad defenses. Might not like it but there is clear evidence. He has been throwing to the end zone late in games that were already decided by a big margin stat padding.
Purdy has not finished many games lately because the starters were pulled.
Niners only worry like any team is injuries. Their talent level on both sides of the ball is better by a large margin.
Cowboys and Eagle fans after witnessing their teams get steamrolled are using emotion over clear evidence. There is zero indication in a rematch either can make it a game againest SF.
As a 49rs fan this may be the only game in my life I root for the Cowboys as it will almost certainly give us home field through the playoffs.

When asked if his defense is playing on the same level as SF which obviously they aren’t even close he didn’t really answer instead saying well do they have Hufanga? Hufanga didn’t play in the two most recent blowouts I mentioned on the road in hostile environments.
His reasoning is Dak is playing at the same high level as Purdy which remains to be seen the next three games and they don’t have Hufanga. Make it make sense.

He wasn't going to get near as much playing time for the Cowboys. The Cowboys like their starting LBs. He could have made a difference, but not guaranteed. The eagles barely beat the Commanders twice and if you look at all their games check the penalty calls they rarely get calls against them but the opposing teams get way more calls.
