The starbone isn’t anything to do with the lore, it’s because one of the dev’s dogs died (the dog who the messenger was based on) hence the tribute in the card

I mean we made robots that looks like animals or us right?
Necrit: so Crescendum comes out of this Lunari pond is symbolized with the fish celestials in it empowering the weapon. Each weapon is symbolized with an animal that corresponds to the celestial it draws power from, which are depicted in the Veiled Temple. Crescendum's statue on Alune's temple is also an elliptic shape and it's supposed to be the animal that corresponds to its celestial... hm I have no idea what it could be.
the starbone was just made as a tribute to one of the devs' dog who died during development of targon so i wouldnt take it as being at all really part of the lore

Imagine being a Solari Soldier facing off against the infamous Moon Assassin, Months of training how to beat him, studying all of his arsenal... Only for him to pull some Lunar Bone and bonk you with it.
Two things that we can glean from this batch of cards that Necrit didn't mention (possibly since these are still theories) is that these Lunar Celestials can explain exactly what happened to the Sunborn Ascended and the Darkin. Firstly, the Darkin were Ascended who had their essence stripped from their bodies and shoved into living weapons, not unlike what Alune is doing to the Lunar Celestials (except in Alune's case, it's probably way more consensual, as the Lunar Celestials seem to be giving a portion of themselves to the moonstone weapons in order to help the twins and the Lunari). This could also explain how Myisha (Zoe's predecessor) thought of the idea to lock away the mad Ascended without destroying them outright (thus keeping them in check and preserving their "Aspects"). Secondly, there is now a solid explanation as to why the Ascended seem to be part animal, because during the Ascension process (standing under the Sun Disk and hoping not to get incinerated), the former mortal gets selected as a recipient of a Celestial's power, and so they pour some of themselves into the mortal being, turning them into a reflection of themselves, an Ascended (in much the same way Alune channels the power of the Lunar Celestials into the moonstone weapons, the Sun Disk would channel the powers of the Solar Celestials into mortal hosts). But so far, these are just theories, but it is cool to consider.
i remember that crescendum was a reference to Luna's weapon from Dota (who is basically Diana) Glad that dota and league sometimes reference each other

the icon representing crescendum is the crescent moon, you see it in the middle of the weapon itself and on the bottom of the pond under the cute celestial fishies actually !
I think the reason why there are no statue that shows where the infernum is and the reason why its celestial was not revealed is that the gun itself is powered by the "moon" its flames comes from the light of the moon. I think that would be an awesome case since it will empower the idea that the sun isn't the only one that can blind people with its light.
About the Crescendum fishes: I'd like to point out that there are candles around them, and in no random order: there are 4 groups of 1 candle each, and one with two candles. My theory is that Alune gives the bone to the messenger as a tribute of sorts. She asks the messenger to inform the other celestials that they are needed to bless the weapons.
