Be sure to have at least 3.6 km/s dV and a decently aerodynamic ship with 2 or 3 stages and you'll get there easily. Let your rocket gain speed at launch and start the gravity turn at 90m/s and aim slowly to 70° pitch. Then pitch more and more. You should be at 45° pitch when you hit 10-15km altitude and then when your apoapsis hit a confortable altitude stop the engine and cruise to Ap. Then circularize when you're about to hit your Ap and voilà : a stable orbit. Don't forget the parachutes and more dV to bring back Jeb alive.
Just add a liquid fuel rocket middle stage, and 2 solid rocket boosters to the side, and a small liquid fuel final stage. When you launch, go straight up till you reach 100 m/s, then tilt a little east. once the yellow marker is at the direction your pointing, just follow it and wait to get into space. Then just wait till you leave the atmospher (70km), then burn sideways until your periapsis, you can see it in the map view, is above 70 km. Then when you want to head down, just point towards the yellow marker with the x and burn. Sorry if this feels like I'm treating you like an idiot, just want it to be as simple as possible.
So I finally got a chance to sit down, and watch the whole episode, and I see what Calvin means by longer videos.. Because I just got done and I already want MOAR. I love you buddy, please never stop!
N9, I love your videos, every time they come out. It seems a shame the race to the moon is now on hiatus, as I really liked that as well. Thank you for continuing to produce content for us =)
Very cool to see! Principia is one I'd love to attempt some time, haha. I can't wait to see the approach in KSP 2, hoping for something that's a nice middle ground between what we have and Principia. Just having reliable distant encounter predictions would be so nice, no more losing my encounter just as I arrive at it.
My only grippe with your content is... they're too short. ;) I love your long content (don't read too much into that statement... I'm tired and couldn't think of a better way to phrase it)
My long content huh? ;) Yeah this series will have some short and some longer videos, but as I spend every week playing through it on streams I'm opting to make shorter videos for this, plus I plan on starting some other things as well as waiting for the return of For All Kerbalkind- where your long awaited "long content" resides :D
After looking at RUclips analytics often people make brilliant videos but only have 4k subs however if you be patient you will find a massive peak (3-4k subs in a year before peak 4-100k subs in a month when the peak comes) keep doing what you do, the peak will come
I hope that plotting long flight plans like this will be a lot more optimized in KSP2 so you can plot them without most of the lag. I'm sure it has to be.
Heh, you could still use Siren I and II's booster even with heat shield blocking it, cause KSP. But gotta detach it to follow the story properly and scientifically right?
you don´t know how much KSP simplifies gravity until you´ve played with principia

This is impressive, I can’t even launch to orbit.
You'll get there!
Its all about not over-engineering your rocket, and dont be afraid to go back to the drawing board

Thank you friend :D
this launch is even more beautyful knowing that Comet 1 will be decommissioned soon
Yee! We've got a few more launches to cover with it first, next episode (:

For All Kerbalkind will return in time (:
Forgot this was the video that you asked me to do that database. Still proud of that.
Dude I love the videos you’re probably one of my favorite youtubers
Thank you! (:
Another amazing video in this series!
I can already smell the burn plastic from here.

@@N9GamingOfficial Perfecto. Short N9 content > no N9 conent
I think he's the perfect size
Oh wait we're talkin video length sorry
OwO
good thing I watched this 30 minutes ago and just now got the notification.

one of the Voyagers had the same problem and had to fire its engines early
Very cool to accidentally recreate real world problems in space flight (:
I hate watching missions not go according to plan. Great video!
Theres a reason our motto is "Somewhat Successful Space Exploration"! haha

I look forward to pushing that to its limits >:]
plot twist, he finds his cat in space
great vid! also when is the next For All Kerbal Kind episode coming?
No update on that yet!
@@N9GamingOfficial ok
Odin here: Running joke on the discord is that every time some asks about it, that adds another (random period of time) to the countdown clock.
principia gives me a stroke ong
It does the same to my CPU haha
quick question, can you excuse principa nodes with mechjeb ? and how accurate it is!?
@@Obyxx MechJeb has no communication with Principia as far as I'm aware, it will be close but will need small corrections
hiiii N9
your game is so pretty lol my pc can't run that
Heres hoping KSP 2 will look even better! And run better too!
@@N9GamingOfficial it should, or at least look better
What mod did you use for the KSC?
Kerbal Konstructs! In a few episodes it gets rebuilt even bigger too (:
@@N9GamingOfficial thank you

Yep!
Can you post more ksp vids I cannot wait
Ill have footage for the next one in a stream or two!
Q: how long is a long time?
Yes(tm)
I hate the video, im just subscribing because of that cute little cat at the start of the video
