@@cardfightking I never really felt like it was needed. Especially with gazi x helping with the mill. And in this format with people setting up in raising and getting their tamers ready, they don’t always memory choke as often from testing. Makes it better to get a body on board. I also struggle to find room for it because I like the high number of low end stuff lol
@@R0boSushi imma test that out. I like 2 just to bank memory and potentially fix a brick but gazimon x felt like a trap only because against alphamon I need 2 regular gazi to win I felt
@@cardfightking that’s fair. Against alpha I switch it up some. I’ll use the gazi x less for the mill and more as a vanilla unless I have multiple regular gazi in hand. Sure it makes gazi x less useful but in other match ups it comes in clutch. And some times I’ll use a gazi x over a gazi, get the mill, use calling grabbing back double gazi and playing one to pass turn or something along those lines to still have a gazi in play.

What about tidal wave? It adds more consistency in the deck since it’s a 7 cost option.( Kaiser nail is a cheaper version of tidal wave but I don’t think you can bring Kaiser nail back if you accidentally mill it)
So being the first event we didn’t have a super broad selection but it was 2 gallant x which were very scary, barely won those games. A dex x antibody, and mastemon. Dex X was the match I posted the other day and Maste felt good. They were playing the Ordinemon stuff and had to pass me to a decent amount of memory so I was able to crack back easier.
@@R0boSushi No way to really say this without sounding rude, but none of those matches are even top tier contenders. Making a deck profile and titling it "TOP TIER UNDEFEATED" when you didn't even face any of the actual scary decks in this format is really clickbaity. This deck gets OTK'd by alpha Oryuken on turn 3/4 unless they specifically hit cocytus/howling crusher. Wargreymon also OTK's it on turn 3/4 with BT1 wargrey, wargreyx with protection unless they specifically check Howling crusher, or wargrey X period if they use A Delicate Plan. Beelze also loses horribly to MagnaX/Armor Rush since they can just kill you in 3 turns and don't care about security options.
@@DemonEyeHelix actually 100% not the case if you gazimon at an appropriate timing it can shut them out or force them from raising earlier in some situations
@@Mrholysymbol Gazimon is only really effective against Alpha Oryuken, and even then they can just play around it with one extra cool boy/yuji. In most cases it just stalls for one extra turn.
Hi robo. I have a question, i hope you can help me. Can mother d-reaper be a blocker? When you evolve to dexdorugamon you can give blocker and retailation to one digimon. Can mother d reaper be a target? I mean, she is treated as a digimon on the field and has DP. Thanks for your help
Yes, the card only states that she cannot attack but she can still block if given the ability. People used to do that awhile back too with cards like Final Zubagon Punch
Nice list! What are your thoughts of trying to fit in 2 bt6 skullgreymons? I've always been a fan of them and finding a way to discard them to put them under Vilemon.
When shiva was more of an issue I would try that but now with it being otk meta with a decent amount of protection effects it ends up feeling like a dead card a lot of the time.
The low end aggression helps a ton since most sec con lists are not playing Schwartz anymore. That being said, since so many lists are running avengekid at 2-3, if they see it early then it becomes much more of a grind game but not impossible.

Any recommendations for a replacement for a Cocytus Breath?
You can try Metal Storm. It doesn’t let you bounce back lvl 7s but if you don’t have access to Cocytus Breath, it’s the next best thing.

I do like this deck. I run some Defeats just to target their tamers and a side deck a Kaiser Nail just to trigger Beelstarmon again.

How do you feel in the sec control match up? I seem to have a much harder time with it then most meta decks
