As a Mexican, all I can say is that there is a reason why Taco Bell has failed to expand into Mexico. I would consider the food at Taco Bell to be more Texas than Mexican.

    Hello everyone,
So I was born and raised in California and have been in California all my life. I absolutely love Mexican food. Of course being California I love so many different world foods because we have access to everything.
Taco Bell and let's be honest any fast food is not American food or anything. It is all just fast food which is its own category. As far as Mexican food I have had classic grandma made Mexican food, amazing restaurant made food, and fast versions of Mexican food. Taco Bell is not Mexican food. It is Mexican style fast food.
In America most people like fast food but we know it is nothing like where the food is supposed to be from. We also know that there is way better food out there. But it's fast food so yeah fast food.
I honestly feel bad for some of you trying "American Food" for the first time and it's fast food. Because we have so much better food out there. However when I am sick for some reason I crave either taco bell or McDonald's probably because the kid in me when I am sick takes over.

I'm not surprised they failed in Mexico though since it's literally the home of what Taco Bell tries to be. Mexicans didn't see Taco Bell as Mexican food, which they can easily make better at home for cheaper, but as a bastardized, Americanized version of Mexican food. For example, I doubt Panda Express would do well in China. Just like how Domino's tanked in Italy to the point where they completely closed in 2022.

As an Indian American and vegetarian, Taco Bell was our go to. Favorite was the Tostadas. They s😊bring it back and to India. It would be super successful

As a Taco Bell employee I must inform you that the quesadilla has creamy jalapeno sauce.. it's not just cheese and typically people want chicken in it. Also watching this video now we have just recently gotten lava sauce back. Btw we've had cinnamon twists for literally decades

I loved the naked chicken taco they got rid of it but it was the best one they had if you ask me. And it was spicy love lettuce and tomatoes that was just a plus.
