i’ve been baking for about the past 4 years and vegan baking the last 2-3 years, people can’t tell the difference between vegan cakes and non vegan! i tend to find the vegan recipe easier to follow and i always hated cracking eggs. i also don’t have to worry about any undercooking of eggs and hurting anyone with my baking!! win win win
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! You are the first person I’ve found who has really explained vegan baking in a way I could understand! My cakes always always fail now that I’ve gone vegan, but now understanding better how important the fat is, I feel I will be more successful! Plus your voice and personality are enjoyable to watch!
All the vegan thing is really cool, but I want to congratulate you on the production of the video. As a first RUclips video you did really good. Well prepared. Sound is good (usually that's the one thing everyone gets wrong at first). Lot's of light to film. Two angles! Editing is OK. Really, keep it up!
I am looking to open a Vegan bakery but had no idea where to start. I have been practicing a Vegan lifestyle since February 2019, but have yet to dive into Desserts. I’ve been baking for a few years now and this vegan avenue is very new to me, please keep your channel going!!! We all greatly appreciate your advice and knowledge!!
Me!! I need the video about the sugars. I prefer naturally sweetened but I know sometimes sugar is needed to really make a recipe pop. I only use sugar on “special occasions” bc of my own reactions to sugar. I opt for unrefined vs refined/processed. But I’m interested in an explanation as to why which sugar is best and what happens when using cane vs caster vs coconut vs white sugar vs brown etc. please make a “all about sugar”. 🙌🏽
Thanks so much for all the information! I’ve started baking vegan exclusively (I’m not vegan myself but it works better for sharing) and non-vegans don’t even notice the difference!
If I use plant based butter, do I do the same ration and I’m assuming it’ll be melted butter and not soft/solid? If anyone is concerned about the sunflower oil used you can sub it for avocado or grape seed for a “better for you” oil. Both are flavorless but it’s best to buy cold pressed/expeller pressed, virgin, and organic (bonus but optional) bc grape seed that is refined is just as bad as canola/safflower/sunflower(assuming it’s not cold pressed or Organic)/etc. my comment isn’t bashing at all. Just a helpful tip for anyone concerned about the oil. All in all, Everything in moderation. I doubt an occasional consumption of those “bad” oils won’t cause awful damage. Plus, those cheaper oil are basically in most processed foods and not to mention restaurants. So just use occasionally. I have to avoid those oils bc of their inflammatory properties. ☹️ Again, just a helpful tip! 💗

What are the replacement ratios then? Is there a rough formula to work from for 1 egg?

Do you have an amazon link for the cider vinegar, in the California all I can seem to find is apple cider vinegar
Louise S acv works the same

What brand vinegar is it?
disculpe
¿ por que usas aceite y no mantequilla ?
When you use coconut milk to bake there's absolutely no taste of coconut in your baked goods. I don't know what she's talking about.
Great video and looking forward to more!
