Adding More Levels to the Avenger's Tower

- I wasn't sure how this was going to go, but I think it worked out pretty well. The Avengers Tower now has the height that it needs to stand out. I also took the opportunity to add a train station. I think there is some areas that can be improved, but for now it looks great in the city. Let me know what you think.

The new base looks great! The details you had inside from the old MOC tower and the station on the ground floor makes it really unique and specially built for your city 😊👍

Love your addition of the train station to the base of a skyscraper. Looks great in your city. Many modern urban stations are done this way.
This is nice. Your old Avenger's Tower is able to live on in your city, lifting it up to help the official Avenger's tower shine.

Amazing placement of the tower. I actually like the off center door (relative to the road) than a centered door. The base is very cool and the train station behind it is the best addition to any lego avengers tower I’ve seen.

Looks good, Alex! It is definitely more noticeable with the extra boost.
The carvana turned out good. Frees up road space and give you something to do with those parts with little effort until you decide something better.
The base looks great. For the elevator maybe use trans blue round tiles instead of the gray. May add some dimension and flow better.
That's how it would actually be. I mean, the top part is basically a deconstructed MetLife Building. The Avengers Tower very much retains the MetLife Building part, which is well connected with Grand Central Terminal...
Thanks, it's still far from the design of the MetLife building. I took many liberties in my own design of it, but wanted to stick to the same idea.
Wonderful! What a smooth train station too! The real question though, as Thanos would ask, "But how much did it cost you?" LOL

Alex, as you know, I am pretty honest and sometimes harsh with my opinions. Well, I have to say that this is one of the best things you have ever done in your city. The base, which the tower needed very badly, looks really really good. Amazing job! The train station going through it is just a very nice touch as well. I only have two gripes with it. The elevator is fine but I don't like the doors to the elevator. I think if you just put the 1x5x2 trans blue panel wall pieces, it would look better. Or just something else. Also, There are those gaps showing on the corner of the tower base. It is where you have it angled on the "2nd floor". Maybe there is a way to cover those. But i know it will be difficult because it is angled and there is almost no room. Anyway, super job on this.
Thanks for the feedback! I do agree with your two criticisms. Those elevator doors will be replaced as soon as I find a better replacement. Those gaps on the building corners will be a work in progress. When you see it close up, they really stick out. I think I was getting tired, lol. I'll keep working on it.
I like that tower of cars, that's a weird, unique building to have in your city! Good way to display them too, when they're too big for the road. Very cool!
As for the base for the tower, I like the facade and how it looks from street level. If there's anything I'd have done differently, I might have set the tower back a bit more, so it's more over the train tracks at the back, just to kind of mirror how the movies have the Avengers Tower just behind the facade entrance of Grand Central Station. But the details along the front and the sides, with all the big windows, and the nice columns, all looks really cool!
I appreciate that feedback. I think it could have been centered better on that base. Happy with it for the moment, but I may mess around with it again in the future.
That looks so great. Seriously impressive! I also like the high end carvana vending machine. It's really fun!

It may just depend on what is around the tower. The Shmew Tower and Sit-Complex just dwarfed it. But if you do add the base, you have some good options.
Love the new base. Stands out great. However, the spire on the car tower would look far better on the corner of the roof rather than dead centre. Lining up with the curve 👍

@@alexnunes I may also wanna add that seeing the Orient Express running through the city melts my heart. I don’t have a train track so it would really be for display but it is so pretty. 🤩 i know it differs from the original concept but I don’t mind. The only thing I find a little odd is the misspelling of the cities but I am willing to look past that … soooo sooo pretty!
It looks fantastic. Another comparison you could have done is put the new and your Avengers tower side by side in the city and compared it, but never the less it looks great. Wish I could see your city in

This is just me. I would have put it next to the Shmew tower. Yes, it looks good. That Orient Express train looks so much better motorized! Man, LEGO really messed up on that one!
Looks great! As the set is based on the movie rendition, I missed the cut of MetLife in the final product. And this base really does the job. The panoramic elevator shaft gives the base a nice look - now I just wish the set ones looked like that. And the station was a little unexpected but very welcome, it gives some life to the building, and somehow it works like your rendition of Central Station. 😉

If you want to know how the cars are removed then you need to buy a super car from them.
Alex, you have the Emerald Star, right?
Idea for both the cheaper Hogwarts Express and the orient Express.
Buy more of them, so you have at least eight wagons.
Now, use the Emerald Star steam engine blueprint for all three trains and the Orient Express wagons as the wagon blueprints, for all three.
That would give you a Green, a Red and a Blue Express Steam Train.
But all three would also need a baggage wagon as well, to better round them off.
Does that seem like a fun project to you?
I hope so.
And it even gives you some parts for future train builds, so you can add a few more such trains to them
And increase that Avenger Tower station platform, it's length.
That way you can park a full train, at said platform.

It certainly adds the needed height...... i like the idea of a new tower on top of an old building, but the style of the second floor doesn't really match well.

Awsome also I have a question what is the height between your ground floor and your subway or train going through the 2nd level the reason I'm asking is because I want to do a subway for a 2 level city
I am not sure. I believe it is 15 studs high, so however tall that is, that should match.
