Big thanks to addicts for making this possible
😂
Explain pls
@@quirinm. They put cigarette lighters in older model cars so that people could smoke and drive because they were so addicted to nicotine that they couldn’t just wait to smoke once they finished their drive.
@BenCarano what is the name of the part that you pair your phone to?? Thanks.
@@pastabadger Were? Are!
I’m so happy I saw this today I ordered it for my granddaughter’s older car and she was so excited she now has her Bluetooth working at an affordable price.Fantastic
Me too, I am thinking of buying an older vehicle, just cuz I love them, but I need a hands-off experience in the car while driving to catch the phone.
Detail is your antenna has to be hook up and your radio have to have the manual scan so you can choose exactly what station it has . Some of the radio only has a auto scan
OMG!! Finally I could it, thank you so much bro!! Almost a month I couldn’t listen my favorite musics, I was listening radio🤪. Now I can go to work with positive vibes 😁. Thank you so much again 🙏🏻
You should just get a new head unit. These rf adapters suck and usually break after abt a month. Although you’ll probably also want to replace all the speakers in your car while you’re at it.
@@sonicshoes9299why would they have to replace all the speakers
bro i’m telling you.. this is the only video that helped frfr like i seen the station and i jus assumed nothing but it’s to control which station u want it playing on
Omg! Thank you so much, so this is the way how to connect. Gosh I spent an hour figuring out how to connect to my car speaker, thanks a lot bro.
Yes!! Nice one. I've been searching for ages to figure this out. Thank you soo much!
LOL I remember when the 12v "cigarette lighter" ports ACTUALLY had lighters. Think those began to go away somewhere around 2008. Same with ashtrays. Although my tow truck still had ashtrays on the doors (2016 Hino 268). Probably since a lot of truck drivers still smoke.
Yep! It’s rare to see them any more these days
I’ve been in so many cars and have had so many old and new cars and till I bought a truck.I have 2014 GMC Sierra and it has a ashtray you hide it and open it whenever you need it so yeah I think I think they put em most in big cars for sum reason igz
my old Land Cruiser has ash trays in the rear for the kids and no sissy shoulder belts either, just good ole spine snapping lap belts.
Mine cars a 2003. I've still got the lighter as well. Lol.
@@neallyons9515 Those darn kids! Now all they want to do is vape. Sheesh, no appreciation.
Thank you. You explained very well and clear. I now have music!
Thank you for posting clear information and directions. 😊
Good explanation. Good job. 👍
This video really helped me! I have a fiat 500c and the blue&me option with cable doesn't really work for me. So I bought a FM carkit. Now I can listen to my songs on Spotify, the soundquality is ok! But sometimes I hear some cracking noises in the background. But after all the FM carkit does its job and I no longer complain about bad music or some boring adverts! 😂
Glad it worked! Yah it can be a little fuzzy depending on where you are and what channel you use to connect, but it's better then nothing haha!
I got a 2012 s500 and you just saved me $1200 that's how much car toys wanted to charge for an upgrade thanks
Glad to hear it worked!
Is this work for new modern Car with Camera?
Also I upgraded for a $1000 and the volume dropped in half on my last car. Not changing the head unit in my new SLK 350 2005.
Thank you so much. Driving my econo box have never been much happier
so glad it helped!!
Months I have been searching now I finally find the video that helps me and work
Thanks for your video, I loved your easy to follow explanation. I wish you played something though so we could hear the quality.
Thank you very much, going to give it a try!
Can you show how to receive calls or make calls with that device. Thank you
Thank you so much, I was gonna try to drill a hole for an aux cable and wire that to my CD player but this is so much simpler
Your not a real man then
Thank you brah it's like drive in theaters & even though you didn't have internet this video is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Ur a life saver bro no bs thank you was listening to the radio for like 2 days after my cosset player broke 😂
Very good video, thanks.
Thank you so much it works well! I no longer has to adjust my music taste to the radio 😂
Thank you brother I am kind of old school cd maker. But I always wondered how to do that. Have a great day
thank you! i just got my first car & im so excited to listen to my music now!
Thank you for posting this
Will I be able to use this device to twin my stand alone sat nav to my in car speakers ?
So I got a different model and it has static or whatever is playing on the radio comes through aswell, is it the device or the part you plug it in to
No cigarette lighter in my PT Cruiser. The port is empty. Is there a Bluetooth adapter that charges instead of needing a power source?
I have a corsa C and it seems to only tune to AM, any idea how I can get it to tune to FM
Hey idk if you can but i dont have a lot of the stations but i have 105.5 if you could link the exact one you are using that would be awesome
Hey! Thanks for making the video. Although, I have found out that when I used such a device in my 2012 murano, the bass was getting distorted even though I have a Bose speaker system. I tried the same device in an audi q3, the bass was perfect. I later tried the Bluetooth reciever to aux in my car and it worked perfectly in my murano and the audi. I think those bluetooth to aux devices are better due to maybe some codec thing error that occurs when you transmit audio via fm. But Idk. Just my 2 cents. Cheers! 🥂
Thanks, Ben. I have a 93 land cruiser that I was trying to get the wireless music to work in.
Life saver. Thanks
Thank you so much for the time to explain and help me with that issue 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you so much, I just bought a car that doesn't have aux cable connector, you really helped
Does it actually work?
@@No-eg4kh yes, I just bought one, but the one, at first I'm struggling on how to keep it on that channel, but I pushed fm again and it was on fm2 then it stays there whenever I turn on my engine it's gonna start on that channel.
Thanks for the advice youre a life saver🔥
God bless you, lad!😊
I got it and it showed 107.3 on the little device but on my 2011 Honda pilot, it has 107.2 and 107.4 not 107.3. Is there a way to fix this?
Thanks man for the tutorial
Excellent, Thank you!
Hell yeah thanks for this
Now what if the car was never equipped with a cigarette lighter 😭
Get a new car😂
you’re cooked 😭
Lol im pretty sure they still have outlets just no cig light inside. They usually have a little cap on it saying how many watts that specific outlet has
😂😂😂😂😂
Amaizing explanation.thank you so much
Thank you so much, it worked perfectly
so glad to hear!
@@BenCarano how do you make calls? Can you still use the radio without it affecting the use of phone or Spotify?
Ist that work with 2002 Toyota yaris ?
Will it work 97 Chevy k1500
Thank you very much for this tutoring video
Think this would work on my 79 camino?
Thanks man!!!
A very nice video! I guess the Roma people selling this at flea markets in Eastern Europe can learn from it how to present their products! 😂
😄 glad it was helpful!
Will this work with an AM-radio? 🇳🇴
Amazing 100% liked and followed your channel, Thank you! 🍻
Thanks!! Glad it was helpful!
Hi mate, please answer my question, my car is 2004 in nisshan pulsar, when i put bluetooth its connected but when i play music or call its no any sound. I have change some adopter still not working. Can you help me please?
2:00 . WHAT, I DIDN"T KNOW IT WORKS LIKE THAT? I have the same exact thing as you, I just connect aux to that BT adapter. LOL I learned something new today
Oh also if you guys hold down the middle button, you can switch frequencies either using left or right button. The thing works but there's a slight static and i don't like it so aux to BT adapter is still cleaner
Awesome thanks.
Does it work with car radios from the 80s
I don’t know what you call it but how do I put down the long metal that detects radio thingy that’s in front of your car???
What about adding a Bluetooth Transmitter / Receiver to a treadmill that doesn't have Bluetooth, so we can use an app that will show up on treadmill screen.
now thats how u do it ...thanks Ben
Would this work on a 2007 Kia Rio with no aux? I’ll be able to play music from my iPhone 14 with no problem?
Should be , not sure if the thing he’s using is only compatible w his phone but I’m sure it’ll work
Can I use my navigation system and make calls too or does this just work for music?
You can do that, any audio that goes through your phone will go on the speakers
dose this work with the toyota avensis 05 sedan?
Thank you , you're a saint !🎉😂
Finally i found the solution THX 😭😫🙏🏼
will this work for a 2003 jeep grand cherokee?
So as long as you have a cigarette lighter or adapter you can use anyone e of them to connect?
Yah! And as long as your radio can match the signal number of the one you get
Thank you ❤
Thank you so much
Oh Wow learn something new each day
Thanks bro
Thank you. Are there any security risks with this device connected to my phone?
none that I know of, and I'm pretty careful around that kinda thing. As long as you're connected to it and just turn bluetooth off on your phone when you're not connected to anything you'll be good
Hi. What is it called and what is the brand?
I've been looking for a way to do this in my 2007 Nissan 350Z, the adapter was 22$ shipped, my car lacks a headphone jack, so I thought I was out of luck, I really hope this works.
If so, cheap fix and great way to use your phone through your car speakers.
did it work?
@@jacobdaniels4302fr i wanna know whether ts will work for my z 😂🤣😊😅
It work well with all volumes?
Where's the link or the name of this product? Please update this post, there are so many people with unanswered questions.
What about making and receiving phone calls?
thank you so much ❤❤❤
Of course! Glad it was helpful :)
Where can I buy one
Will I be able to listen to, on my car radio, a meeting that I have on Teams on my iPhone?
Yah I'm pretty sure that will work
Thank you!
I have a 1997 Hardbody with factory am/fm cassette. So you are saying this BT device will pair to my radio? And then can play music or possibly youtube audio thru my speakers?
Yep, as long as your Bluetooth adapter has the same channel as your radio
@@BenCarano interesting. I am having a hard time replacing my oem broken antenna for some reason something is in the way of the threads and i really want to keep thus truck stock, as it is in mint shape. This seems like could be a remedy for music and hands free talking.
My car stereo has no led lights working. It's gonna be a long process to match the device to the correct blank station, with no way to tell what station I'm on. If/when i find the right station and pair it up, my question is can i make and receive phone calls hands free? I can't find one channel that will show anything about phone calls. I guess it can't be done. That's what i was hoping to be able to do. Especially now you obviously get a ticket holding a phone. Can anyone tell me if these things can make and receive phone calls through the speakers?
there is an app you can download with this Bluetooth charger in the is the same name as the Bluetooth connection something in the app change frequency device on your radio so you can connect to station to use the one that has the most static before connecting to it so say you tune into a station like 88.1 88.7 probably don't have any thing on them because there's stations that so your device to that station. You should be good but if you end up having a lot of static, just try to choose a different station through the app, hopefully this helps somebody
Yah! You can also select all the stations directly on the adapter, so no need for an app, at least with most of them
What if it reads 107.2 but the only stations I can access are 107.1 and 107.3
Can you leave this on the cigarette lighter input when the vehicle is off and not drained the battery?
Yep, it only powers up if the vehicle is running. Although it might drain on a new vehicle that charges all the time so it depends
Thank youuu!
Were you get it?
Will it work for my 2007 Lexus if so where can I get this
most likely if it has a radio and plug. you can get these pretty much anywhere now (amazon, tech stores, gas stations sometimes)
What happens if everything works but there is still some static from the speakers? But I also hear my music and it’s like a mix?
Great question! I sometimes get that too so I just remove the antenna from my truck to fix the issue. In places where the signal is super strong it will sometimes pick up static on that channel even if you have Bluetooth connected, only downside. But yah try unscrewing the antenna or if you don’t have a detachable antenna than you can remove it from the radio unit itself
Is the bluetooth device loose in the socket? If so you may need to replace it
This happens to me all the time it's so freaking annoying
I bought an expensive one to the static makes my head hurt and there's nothing I can do very frustrating
The radio station it tells me to go to isn’t on my car radio. It’s saying 87.5 but when the closest station I can get to that is 87.9
Same with me
What if the cigarette lighter isnt also an aux port?
What is the port called?
Definitely helped
Thank you bro you're a Saint!
The one I have that's all I get is fuzz I can hear my music it comes through but I get a lot of
Thanks
Will this work to get GPS driving instructions through your speakers from the phone?
yep, it does for me both with android and apple phones
@@BenCarano Thank you so much for your prompt reply. Appreciated.
i'm ur 1k like!
Does this work for phone calls like regular Bluetooth?
It does but sometimes the audio for the other person sounds bad. I wouldn't use it for important calls personally. The microphone is on the device itself unlike in newer cars that put them in strategic places for optimal reception.
Can you actually make a call through your speakers using this device?
