After 4 years how is it doing performance wise?
Program the radio station as preset number 5 so everytime you get in your car you can just press the last preset on your car and it makes it easy

I got mines and its very staticky maybe its just the fm i have it at, but is yours staticky at all?

Next time you do a review for transmitters, have someone call you so you can tell us how we sound to them and from them to us. Also what it looks like on the transmitter when a call comes through. Other than that, great video/product

I recently got my RCA RZM150E portable radio yesterday, and it works, and all I need to get is a Bluetooth FM wireless transmitter for car, and a car adapter to AC plug so I can play some music when broadcast on FM radio.

I'm going to ask my dumb question-- once you're using the bluetooth adapter, then any music or other content you listen to originates from your phone then? I am looking for a bluetooth adapter that has its own FM receiver built in so that the car radio's function would be restored if that makes any sense-- as in I could receive FM radio with the adapter which would then relay it to the car radio and if a phone call was made or received the phone would override-- does that make any sense and if so is there anything like that on the market?
Great video! Also, choose a station that's not competing with another frequency from your local radio stations. Trust me, it makes a world of difference!

Just a question, would it be better to buy a brand new aftermarket radio or just a Bluetooth receiver? I have a 1997 truck that I was wanting to get suped up. The stereo system is still good but the radio is a little outdated.

What a life saver! Been stressing at my new astra past couple days ordered bluetooth to aux recievers, normal aux cables and couldnt get anything working to stream music, so let's give this ago looking very promising

@@fatum3978 So i bought a cheap Bluetooth fm transmitter and it works flawlessly, great little gadget, on your radio go onto fm and tune into the same fm frequency on the bluetooth transmitter and youre good to go

that looks great... my scenario is a little different. I have a car Sirius receiver that only has an aux. my car radio doesn't have an aux, it is totally Bluetooth. can i use this device to connect to my car radio via Bluetooth them connect the SiriusXM via the aux port to play SiriusXM?
I have a Bluetooth Power Station FM Transmitter made by CAR and DRIVER. The features are great in that it has two charge ports for car chargers and two USB ports for your phone,. It also has hands free phone answering,. However; the background sound sucks. When music is playing with singing or people talking and certain words are pronounced it sounds like someone’s hitting the symbols or high hat on a drum set. Is there a unit out there that totally mutes out the background noise? Yeah, features great when it comes to convince but what good is the unit if the sound quality isn’t like the car factory installed units?

@@rounakchoudhury4857 I like it. I'm getting a new radio head put in my car today. The screen wasn't working properly. I will then test different radio stations. It's a little fuzzy. The one I chose is 107.7. It's a local country station. I chose it because it's the highest station that I could see on the screen. Based on a few videos I've seen, it seems like the higher the frequency, the better the reception. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

@@anishpatel3118 I use it every day. The remote didn't work. I may have put the battery in wrong. I don't really care because I don't need it. Most of the time it connects quickly when I turn the car on. I love that I can fast forward to the next RUclips video, Pandora song, or whatever. I also love the flexible neck to the screen. I really needed that. Overall, I think it's great!

i have a after market DVD player in a expedition using the fm transmitter that is part of the DVD system to play the sound over the radio however i get a lot of interference with other stations and wondering if this bluetooth transmitter your demonstrating will work

Great demonstration for streaming music but what about phone calls? Does it have a mic or does my phone have to be close to me to capture my voice during calls? Hands-free phone calls are my primary concern.

About 2:05 you meantioned it could change multiple station and you gonna show us right now, but you completely omited how this works as handsfree when I am listening to radio. My car radio has BT, has HDD, has navigation, has SD card reader, only it cant be paired with new smartfones, as they do not share SIM anymore. So I was considering this gadget, but it seems not solving my problem. When I listen to a radio and somebody calls me, do I always have to switch first to the station, that I have tuned on the transmiter?

I've been thinking about getting one of these since it beats paying $100 + Labor to have a new stereo put in my 2004 model car that hasnt got bluetooth or AUX cords.. but I'm in Australia, and when you're travelling between towns, phone service, and the radio stations all cut out.

You can use any radio station with frequency or without frequency..
I have only one probably with the FM transmitter Bluetooth I wish could be addressed, when you are riding and you get close to an erea that uses the same frequency it starts to interrupt your connection has that been addressed with this device....
what i don't get is if you have to change your stereo to that radio channel every time you use it. i would be using it for calls, not for music. so if i were listening to another radio channel or cd, do you have to switch to that radio channel before you can answer any calls

Where I live and when I travel , my radio gets static ! Now my van has new smart upgraded stereo and speakers, but I like the radio from time to time . I was wondering will this help . Or I hv heard of an app also . So which would help me more with the most simple functions
The static comes from FM frequencies interrupting your signal, it’s kinda unavoidable with these setups.

Hey! I have a thing to charge my phone with the cigarette lighter. Any way for me to charge my phone and play music at the same time? I believe there's something that lets me make the one port into two, but just wanted to see if that would still work!
yeah get a cigarette splitter basically you get it in the cigarette charger and it gives you two more ciggarete slots, then you can plug both the fm kit and whatever else you want. Take note that the FM kit comes with 2 usb slots as well usually that you can use to charge phone etc

Might have been great last year, but now I'd give it a 6/10... it's only Bluetooth 4.2 instead of 5.0, doesn't have a USB Type-C charging port, and is only QC 3.0.

Did you drive around with it in the car playing ? I am curious if it holds out with no static and the original radio station cutting in and out ? I bought one from Target and it is garbage so I am looking for one that has a better connection quality.

I bought one from Amazon and I can't play the radio nor talk on the phone hands free. However the GPS speaks clearly. I have a 2006 Honda accord and I cannot find a plug in from radio to device. Is this the issue or should I get something that works? A. Doesn't need the cord and B. Something I can talk through and others can hear me. If so, what model would work on Amazon???

Yes you can use the USB, not completely sure about the skipping of folder to folder.
