Cannot believe he did not use the word Metroidvania even a single time. It is July now, 7 months later, I’m currently playing the game the first time. It is a Metroidvania masterpiece. Up there with Metroid Dread and Ori Will of the Wisps, and not far off from Hollow Knight (the undisputed king). It is a miracle to see this quality of a game coming out of Ubisoft. So they have been capable all along they just don’t do it. It is an incredible game if you are a fan of the genre.

It may be an ad read but in all honesty, everything he said about the game is exactly how i feel, the only thing I wish it had was a new game plus mainly for cosmetic reasons but other than that I think it is a near perfect game. Good job Ubisoft 👍
I loved this game it took me 47 hours to platinum on ps5. It was a challenging game but only 1 maybe 2 bosses gave me real trouble. Would love a sequel from the same studio. 4 years ago they announced the sands of time remake and still nothing.
I'm torn between saying I liked this more or Metroid: Dread? I certainly liked PoP a lot more than I expected to. I hadn't been impressed worth Ubi Soft lately. they definitely earned some good will points with this.
Believe me, I was very skeptical when they announced this game and I‘m a huge POP fan. But after I have played the demo I have to say: This game is awesome!!!
