The ppl on the show don’t know how to call the police. The female cop went of a date in an abandoned area, when she is in a fuckin wheelchair. She acted dumb and ignored all the red flags before he abandoned her. She never went to the cops and told them about what happened. She then proceeds to meet him again. She doesn’t think that it’s suspicious that he took her to a place that will be demolished. She doesn’t listen to the construction workers when they tell her to leave. She gets rescued by her friends magically, and guess what? Instead of going to the police to report the bodies she found or tell them about the man, she literally goes to party and get drunk. 💀
That character is the dumbest cop I've ever seen. With all due respect, What she was gonna do to him when she didn't even CARRY A GUN?!

I understood at first. She is a touch-deprived woman hence the want for sex. It is embarassing to share your sexperience with the police that's why I understand why she didn't want to go to the police. She knew it would be dumb to do it without evidence. But what's dumber to do is to meet with him the second time without any preparation. It's like she went to the said area with no memory of her past experience. She was unprepared and pitiful in that series of scenes. She a dumb cop 😭

I kinda felt differently about the ending. She was well and good with him hurting and scaring her friends until he was destroying some one. I feel like when he was destroying some one she felt like he was destroying a part of her and it clicked in her head like “yeah he could still hurt me” or “there’s a part of me he wants to destroy” because through all her friendships with actual human beings she just wasn’t connecting and she only connected with her ai and poured her soul into it. Its like he was jealous that the ai knew her better.
That's definitely the breaking point where she decided it was over.
She also did say and believe he wouldn’t hurt her, even on one of the last episodes
She was fine w/him killing strangers but she didn't know it was him who hurt her cop friend until after he destroyed Someone. When she saw his senselessly destroy something she loved. But then while she was fixing it she saw his deleted messages telling her he was Agape, implying that he was the one that sent those 4 guys to r*pe her. That's when she removed all the knives from her home because she was afraid she'd want to kill him...
But didn’t she already know he destroyed the AI? She saw it through her security camera & texted him and asked if he did it. And he told her she should be asking him why he did it.
Why did she still take pity on him and refuse to reveal herself as he was dying?. She could have totally taken that opportunity to tell him why she just ended his life but she stood there and remained silent. That would have shattered him knowing that the love of his life betrayed him. She did love him and that's what makes it all so profound, just like she felt bad about the cat but still had to put it out of its misery. People who have what she has aren't void of feeling human, they just have a hard time making emotional connections with others. But once the connection was established she was willing to go out murdering people with this man.
I feel like the yunos background is still too unknown. Like what happened during his childhood, how he got the big scar on his back, etc. In the last episode, he seemed the most sincere and human-like, and so there was some sadness during his death even tho justice was served. The drama was decent. It just had way too many plot holes

There's no plot holes, just loose end. And honestly I use loose end here loosely. They're not loose ends because every single story line has close with the death of yun-o.
I think the scar and hidden childhood was meant to throw the audience off. Like ppl must have thought he had a rough upbringing but in reality he probably didnt and he was just born a killer. I think that’s why early in an episode the cop was wondering if people become “psychos” if they suffer in childhood or if people are just born that way. In his case he was born like that. Nature vs nurture ?

Yowwwwwwww, I just realized! That the first episode, in the scene where Kim killed the cat was such a clever foreshadowing of the final episode!
The ending had a lot of different emotions going on. But I was kinda sad that yuno died….cause at the end of the series before he gets killed by sum, we as an audience see how he also wanted understanding and love. We got to see him thinking about his actions and then confessing to sum that he actually fell in love with her. Justice was served with his death…however their was definitely pity for yuno. The acting in this series is phenomenal! A lot of tension and a lot of reading facial expressions to understand the characters in the show.

Ok Sum was different. Lets just put that aside. What about the other 2 girls. They literally knew who the guy was and never informed the police. And their plans were dumb af. And one was actually a police officer who was the dumbest btw. BOTH TIMES she went to completely abandoned places cz a stranger askes her to. and still she didnt involve the authorities even after seeing a dead body Instead she used a finger guy and went to party and made dumb plans with her friends like she was going to a europe trip. And how the fuck was he getting away with alll those murders even tho he left the dead bodies most of the time. And kept their phones. He literally ran over that guy during the day in plain sight and left him there.and that guy? Why didnt he go to the police with evidence. Ugh this was frustrating

Another thing that upset me was that Gi-eun wouldn’t just tell them what the man looked like..like literally the glasses is a dead giveaway. Like c’mon now, then she wanted to meet the man AGAIN by herself?? Like that made no sense

Ughh I was so annoyed with Gi-Eun but I’ve simmered down and chalked it up to she’s actually stupidly in love, and that’s the message they wanted to go with her character. Bc even at the end she still kept his lollipops…
Very interesting take, tho I disagree. I don't believe fear was an emotional stepping stone towards her experiencing/understanding the other emotions. We've seen her express genuine happiness in the show. There were moments w/her friends & w/Yuno where she smiled or laughed. She was really happy when Someone told her about Yuno's 1st deleted message (the one about him wanting to physically *be* w/her).
For some reason she felt like her & Yuno where the same. Eventho from their 1st convo she KNEW he was the murderer & told him so in the car. (She was also afraid then.) Maybe she picked up on a certain speech pattern. I found his expressions hard to read when he wasn't murderously angry lol. Maybe she could sense he had Asperger's as well. I'll never for the life of me understand why she met him the 1st time, hung out w/him all night or met him all the times after. Maybe she was too emotionally disconnected w/the concept of murder at that time.
I believe the turning point was when he destroyed Someone & while fixing it she found out he was actually Agape & sent those 4 guys to r***e her. Literally right after she finally experienced a physical bond w/someone that actually gave her pleasure. That's when she removed all the knives from her home & asked her friend to perform an exorcism so she wouldn't be tempted to kill him. (She hugged him after that & the expression on her face definitely gave away her true feelings.)
Soon everyone started closing in on him & he put her friend in danger again. Maybe that all made her finally understand how dangerous he was & she knew it would be easier for her to stop him.
This was a very...idk how I feel about the show. Closer to the not liking it, there were so many moments of nothingness that seemed pointless but maybe I just missed the emotional direction of those scenes.
The direction was slow than it was eery. I do feel that it is somewhat hollow but there are pockets of scenes that are just so juicy and satisfying. Well, some decisions could have been more realistic and i'm aight with the seriess. It's kinda good 👍 i guess...
a part of me was kinda rooting for them to end up together tbh. 🤷🏻♀️

@@zhooterss He was a psycho. They were dangerous together, though yes it was sad to see that he was finally manipulated & killed by the only person he loved truly. Still he was not someone who could have any kind of redemption. They would have just turned into bonnie & clyde, so its good she killed him.

I think the characters were all flawed in one way or another. Which made us question the thinking of their actions. Which is what made it so suspenseful. Sum I think related to yuno in the tendencies. But except for the cat never acted on it. Yuno in the end wanting to experience something he never felt before. Saw Sum as innocent to life’s judgement of people towards each other. Which was his mistake. She saw him as troubled and unable to be healed. So decided to put him out of his misery. The way she killed him was very precise. From the set up to the execution. She was in control mentally the whole time. And in the end didn’t dwell on it. It was the only solution.
I think you missed that Sum was kindred to the killer and had similar tendencies like strangling her mother, her first kill, conversation between her and the killer where she could have last jedi taken his hand

realistically, yuno was disgustingly evil and his death shouldn’t be pitied. but this is a drama, a fantasy. part of me felt sad over his death scene. i also admit that i was rooting for him and sum to have a “bonnie and clyde” ending.
I was rooting for him as well in the end. I really didn't think she would be the one to kill him though. He got what he deserved but it was sad
i think the reason we still feel bad is because we’re normal human beings. no matter how evil someone is and we know that they deserve all the horrible things in the world possible to happen to them, we still feel bad because well.. we’re normal lol. i did also want sum and yuno to be together, they get each other. but also hated them together. it’s complicated.. this movie confused me sm 😭

As said in this video , this series was multi -layered. It will take some time to digest all the possible aspects discussed and the still uncovered sides of different scenes for me , was hooked till the end.

In my opinion, Seum killed Yun ho because she was the only one who could make him actually pay for his crimes. In the very first scene, she states "I'll do anything if it doesn't involve killing people" and later, while apparently protecting her lover, she says " everyone will pay for their crimes". That's when I thought "she is going to take care of him herself". Lastly, the guy she visits in prison says to her: "didn't you tell me that everyone has to pay for their crimes?"
Another important part is the whole how-to -fake-an-orgasm thing. I think this is what she did when she masturbated before him. She had to keep leading him on. So sad, though, because I believe they truly loved each other. 🥺
It was absolutely great. His character was truly terrifying. But will there be more seasons? What will they even be about?

I think yeah, kinda like test, like to see the murderous intent of Sum and when she finally killed one of the four man, Yuno started to msg her again and later on even fall in love with her.
He thought Sum like killing people too just like him, he thought Sum was the only one who could understand him.

Well, until the end, we didn't get to see his face, but it was somehow foreshadowing that the guy worked with the FL company, so I guess it's all only just abt making money, they give user personal info illegally for money. Only my guess tho, bc Fingers was shown in the same room with that CEO woman or something.

The nude scenes surprised me, don't really see that in Korean drama.

The main MCs have great chemistry aside from how this series is a great masterpiece!
I liked the drama but so many things didn't make sense at all. The female cop never fully involved her COP colleagues. She literally KNEW who the criminal was. Also who the fuck meet strangers in remote dark places. Also the construction workers didn't stop her from going in a DEMOLITION ZONE. And she was found, no one brought her to the HOSPITAL to get treated, OR call the police. I get Kim Sum has Asperger but she fully knew what was right or wrong, but chose to protect a SERIAL KILLER even when he almost killed her friends. Dont get me started on the nonsense private information policy at the expense of people DYING. Yeah... too much illogical behaviors but typical fictional moves. I'm glad yun-o died. Absolutely no sympathy for him. He killed ~18 or 22 people. Where's the sympathy for the victims?!
Idk how I feel about this show lol. I wanted to stop watching it by episode 6 but I decided to finish it. I still don’t know if I like the ending, it was pretty predictable tbh.
I know he was evil and that but I couldn’t stop thinking how the actor was so attractive, like I know even attractive people are evil but it made it hard because my brain kept saying man but he’s so attractive if only he didn’t have that personality 😂

Really interesting drama even though I still don't understand a lot of it for example who is the man he killed and ran over with his car in the last episode or is it just a through back like the murder in the hotel !!? There's so many questions left unanswered in my head
that man is the lover of the woman from the noodle house. he is the one who took a picture of yun o asked by the shaman.
Wasn't he the boyfriend of the noodle house woman...the one that was held hostage..notice the bloody "cog" it looked like a cog...going back to Sum's mother saying something about cogs in the world..an analogy to Sum's Aspergers.

All this time, Sum was just curious with the purple emotion card. And she was carrying that curiousity since she was a child.
I still don't understand about the final scene of Mok Won finding the paper after Kim Sum came in her house before meeting Yuno in their hiding place.
The paper had the address to their hideout. With Mok Won giving Sum the blade back, we can presume that Mok Won knew what Sum was going to do.
