My father was diagnosed with early stage skin cancer at 24 before I was born. He was able to seek treatment and was in remission for another almost 20 years. His cancer came back as melanoma when I was around 12, and within two years spread to his brain and killed him. I can’t describe the helplessness I felt as I slowly watched my father deteriorate. Rest in peace Dad. I miss you.

In 1980 I had developed a black mole on my stomach that was growing and the psychiatrist I was working for said I had melanoma and needed biopsy. The diagnosis was malignant melanoma on my abdominal wall. Doctor told me it was was very unlikely I would survive it and as I drove home alone my body shook uncontrollably. I was 22 years old. I remained home from work for 3 days and just lay in bed visualizing non stop the poison cancer leaving my body flushing out and following my surgery the surgeon told me he removed all the cancer and I didn’t even need radiation. I have a very deep large square around abdomen and every day I’m grateful to be here. Since the melanoma, I have had 7 skin cancer surgeries basel cell and squamous and had another biopsy today on a new red spot of 5 months. I was the kid at the beach applying all baby oil and no sunscreen, piles of blisters from sunburn etc and this is the consequence. I hope everyone reading this will get to dermatologist annually for a full check (earlier If red spot that doesn’t heal in months, or new mole growth) and wear a hat and sunscreen. Keep safe 🙏
I'm so sorry you went through that horrible horrible phase, you're really strong! I hope you have a healthy and a happy life ahead, God bless❤

Old timey hero guy.
Oh yea cancer meh don’t have to go to a doctor!
Yeah I think cancers a bit harder to treat, it's not like you can treat it over the counter, you need to act fast. I've heard of small treatable skin cancers leading to cancers developing in other areas like the liver and becoming terminal. Just cos it's small doesn't mean you can lop it off with a pocket knife
like seriously how stupid can you be to find suspicious marks on your skin that could mean cancer and instead of going to the doctor you remove them with probably very unsanitised tools...
old fashioned. do it yourself kinda guy. my dad died when i was 16 because he refused to see a doctor. it’s sad but it is what it is. some people would rather go down doing what they love and by themselves then spending the rest of their life getting treatment. try to be kind about it :)
My mom had breast cancer and she told me she noticed a small lump under the right side of her breasts. So we went to the doctor, who told us she had breast cancer, and it was just at its beginning. My mom got it removed, but they also had to remove her breasts entirely, and also the lymph node in the right armpit. The surgeon ended up accidentally shifting the lymph nodes on the left side so now my mom doesn't sweat in that area anymore. but more important, the cancer is gone
Accidentally?u guys should make him pay

My dad died in 2015 from metastatic melanoma to the brain. In 2010 he had a lesion on his scalp removed and for 5 years we thought everything was fine. Then he suddenly started to deteriorate and was dead within 3 weeks of us noticing his outward symptoms. The day he died, they did another scan. I refused to leave and watched the scan from the control room. As a medical professional, I knew what I was looking at... I've seen head traumas of multiple varieties, but I have yet to see a scan as nasty looking as his. I still remember it. Those 3 weeks were horrific.

This led to a year later where he found he had cancer all through his body as it had traveled through his lymph system to the stomach, liver, and other places. He died 9 months later. Movies don't show how serious cancer is! They just show it like it's something painful and that's all, before death. What i saw was my dad turn from a loving, caring dad into a man who I didn't recognize at all. He forgot about me, and would get very violent (but was too weak from the cancer to actually hurt my mother or I). His memory was nearly gone completely. His appearance changed so much that he didn't resemble himself, with a bloated face, skin that tore as easily as wet paper, and so on. It's a terrible thing. What caused his cancer was smoking and exposure to asbestos for years.
My mom has recently had two lesions removed from one of her legs. CHECK YOURSELF. IT'S IMPORTANT.
Damn, how painful is it to die from any form of cancer? I mean, I wanna die but not in a painful way
Pixel I can relate. Both of my grandmothers died of cancer. One from breasts cancer and the other of blood cancer.
Farmer: **cuts off cancer**
Cancer: YOU FOOL YOU FELL FOR IT THUNDER CROSS SPLIT ATTACK
Let's be real, if it was the thunder cross split attack, this guy would have been fine.
If it was the thunder CROSS SPILT attack all he has to do Is just freeze it
Is this a jojo refference???!!!1111
JOJOOO
WRYYYYYYY
Best video I've ever seen describing cancer.
This channel is like Goosebumps but the stuff can actually happen to you.
Farmers, man. I remember reading a story about a farmer that had undiagnosed heart issues that he would "fix" temporarily by grabbing an electrical fence whenever he noticed them.
wow that’s wild
Well, defibrillator is just sending electrical current through heart to restore normal heart beat or if heart is not receiving electrical impulses from brain, so I guess farmer was right.
Once when I was teen I was helping during welding, and guy was welding metal fence on one side and the other wire was on the other side and I was holding both sides with each hand, and current was flowing through me because I was the only connection between welding spot and whatever that other wire is called on English, man that was experience, afterwards my heart was beating minimum 120 per minute, I felt like am able to solve mystery of universe and existence, but during that woow, awful time.
organic pacemaker/defribilator, big pharma amirite
That's actually really smart of him.
There’s no way that’s sustainable.
It’s seems like the tiniest unassuming thing can just doom you.

ChefWonders Lol for real these videos do sound like that xD
God, I remember how I stubbed my toe while running around the house then I got an internal wound from it 😥
ChefWonders lol. I am now paranoid after watching videos like these.

Human : *cuts skin cancer with pocket knife*
Brain : "wait, that's illegal" *commits suicide*
I know this is a joke, but if the brain died, wouldn't the human die with it?
The Guy Who Only Comments of course not

You are just mad because you are angry
damn, that is pretty evil
I think the farmer's first illness was pride. Many men don't want to accept that they are ill or can die. Excellent video. Thank you.
Very well explained. I'm impressed.
“A young man finally worked up the courage to ask his long time crush on a date. Here’s how his heart was destroyed.”
We could say... his heart was _crushed_
He got stomped by an elephant
You just described me perfectly
There is something called heartbreak disease, where heart strings get cut off on extreme stress,
Bruh stop
When I clicked on this video I had no idea I’d receive more education than I would in a week of school
Oh yeah yeah
Star Lord Oh yeah yeah
True tho
You can learn more things by being a scientist than you do in a school year.

My Father had mantle cell lymphoma, in 2005 he committed suicide his way, he didn’t want to be in pain anymore nor be addicted to morphine. He was 52 years old & I had my 21st birthday months later, it’s now 18 years ago but never forgotten.
So glad i just finished my biology unit on melonin and Protiens. Happilly was understood everything.

I have a mole that is irregular and has doubled in size in 6 months. I’m feeling pain in random places. Honestly, I’ll probably light up like a Christmas tree if they scan my body. So I’ll die how I die, I’m not scared. I have no kids and I’m single, so that’ll make it easier to be excited for what comes when I take my final breath.
I'm in a boat similar to yours, friend. I have a few lumps on one side of me and one on the other. My doctor says there's nothing wrong with me. So, I'm just gonna stop asking for help. Even though I no longer want food or water, and have to force myself to drink and eat at least once a day. I'm so tired.
Skin cancer.
ya tough guy, its sounds like fun adventure, until the unbelievable type of pain , cancer may bring you, get to an ER
