Unfortunately the small sample of the guitar work here has John stuck in what I call, “the Doodley-Doos”.. ..(boring, simplistic, clichéd & repetitious, Doodley-Doo-sounding guitar phrases!) .. If you know what I mean?

guitar player answer: it’s because he’s not used to playing with a tremelo and he doesn’t have full control when he gets too emotional.
