i started screen printing in the 90's. nothin wrong with screen printing. but this method is alot less messy hahahahagaaaaa

@@BigBrandoh is Alstyle affiliated with Gildan in any way? I buy my shirts already printed in Los Angeles at a shop in the Santee Alley. They are heat transfers printed on an Alstyle Classic t-shirts and Alstyle Heavy weights. The front tag says Alstyle and the second part of the tag behind it says Gildan Active wear in very small print. Just wondering about that. Also the shirts seems like they run small and are not pre-washed. Since they’re 100% cotton they do shrink. I tell my customers to get a size bigger so it will fit once it shrinks. Are all Alstyle classics the same? Also how would you rate these shirts? I wore one already and washed it and it held up really good after the first wash. I eventually want to start pressing my own shirts but its just easier for me to start building a client base this way. I only pay $4 shirt sizes S-XL, 2X $5.50, and 3X $5.75. I know its a loaded question but thanks in advance.

Thanks for the hard drives info. I use Western Digital external hard drive for back up storage, Been using them since 2009.
yeah i used to use Western HD's, then switched over to external Lacie HD's... i have an internal samsung SSD. I liked the speed so i thought i'd switch over to external SSD's for backin up. i guess i chose the wrong external SSD's hahahahaaa

Great vid! I've been screen printing but need to expand to transfers after seeing your videos. So excited I signed up for Supacolor and Transfer Express right away. I'm stuck on one aspect though. Those 13x19 sheets are gamer changers, but on both they don't list sizes that high Supacolor is 11.7x16.5 and Transfer Express seems to be 11x14. Any advice esp with choosing between these 2 providers, both seems to have good quality but I need that 13x19 to make it work. That said I'm gonna try the Supacolor for hats. The quality looks crazy good for the demos. Thanks for inspiration brother man!
i use alot of transfer companies for different reasons. i offer resources like The List and The Sample Pack to help those out in need of that info. check it out in the description box or you dont even have to use any of the companies i use. Google search some companies and order samples thru them directly. see which ones work best for you and what you are lookin for.

I think you left out one of the most advantageous reasons to use plastisol over screen press... The ability to print on demand and not tie up your money, shirt stock and space on pre-printed tees. If you mentioned that, my bad. I was listening while I was in the shower
no lies in that statement. i got vids talkin about that but didnt address it in this vid. more wanted to get across the cost savings. but you are 100% right about controlling your inventory! main reason why i do what i do.

yo JR. this method is a good way to save money, not waste money and control your own inventory. if you were looking at gettin started from home, this is a good option. this is how i run all my brands. thanks for watching

I got a 15x15 press right next to my 16x20 pullout. I do use them both. If you can afford the 16x20 pullout, do it. Quality of life differences of course, but nice they are

I learned to screen print around 2005. I haven’t even touched that skill because everything I need to even get it done. I don’t need all those chemicals in my apartment. Transfers are the way to go. If you’re doing it from home save yourself the drama.
