This Dutch Symphonic Metal band needs no introduction since most Metal fans know them after five successful studio albums. The Quantum Enigma which is their sixth studio album is being performed in its entirety in this CD release show, as well as some of the older songs like The Obsessive Devotion, Unleashed, Kingdom Of Heaven and Cry For The Moon. Simone is in super shape again phisically and vocally after her pregnancy break. You can tell that the whole band is enjoying this show after being away for the recording of TQE. Enjoy the show and make sure to go see them when they play near you this coming tour and of course buy their great new CD: The Quantum Enigma.

Great show! I saw Epica live November 2012 in Utah (USA) and it was one of the best live shows I've ever seen. They are great live. I felt bad because the attendance was terrible (maybe 150?) for such a great band that traveled that far to perform. Hoping they return because I loved their live experience.
I hope it doesnt end up the same for the states as it is in the UK. For RFTI they did a full UK tour and sadly the attendance was low (I had a nice mindmilling space) and now this time they are only doing one show in London! So tomorrow I will be travelling all day to the capital. I wouldn't miss them for the world!
Oh no, I am from the United States and we went crazy, Epica didn’t even have to hype us up, we knew what we were supposed to do and that is to move our necks, mosh pits, and sing along. I love Epica and it’s such a great band.

Simone likes to move around and to dance and headbang for sure it will affect her voice, since so many songs have so much high notes. In the studio she sounds perfect, she is standing still, she is fresh, she is not touring. So I don't think she sings bad, I just think that she can't do all at once and still sound balanced. Some can, she can't but I prefer to see an artist enjoying himself than to sound all neat but barely moving. Anyway, she had better gigs than this one.
+Ligeia Noire I totally agree ,just listen to sense without sanity . In the chorus she stands still and sounds totally amazing :D

Honestly she is amazing and Epica is fucking epic haha. But the crowd literally suck so bad. I would act so crazy and have so much fun and loose my voice. But the crowd was dead and barely did anything. Epica definitely deserves a better crowd than this one plus Epica sang ALL the good songs that i enjoy listening too 🧡

Don't think Epica is one of best band other then within temptation, Nightwish and some others. As I grow 2 love them I think of the first time I listened 2 them. I love just epica 4 some reason. Is it Simone's voice or the band itself. I don't know just love them. I just need answers why that we love much haha. Long live Epica.
