You know how you can tell the trick was already ruined? Before closing the box she was sitting on the right side. So then when she was waving the handkerchief it clearly showed she moved to the left side.

I never remembered how sleazy the comments the narrator's comments are at times.
I kinda wanna see a magic show that never truly reveals that the assistant is still alive at the end of each trick, and instead reveals they're alive at the end of the show as the magician implies throughout the show that he's just killing his assistants in gruesome ways until the end
I've learned that you can always tell that some kind of contortion into a secret compartment is involved whenever the assistant is barefoot or wearing jazz shoes instead of heels or boots.

Been that way since Magic was invented.
The thing about magic is not only the trick itself, it's also about the showmanship, the image and psychological effect on the audience. The execution of the trick is very important. That is why there are all kinds of body languages creating tension and astonishment. It's also vocal.
