I'm on google maps on my laptop at home checking out places and routes and then i get in my car and try to use an independant satnav and tt takes me places I don't want to go. I think I'll use google maps from now on. Thanks

My experience is the dang Google map app directional voice decides to have a tea, coffee break and maybe some shut eye and doesn't wake up?!
Meaning I have to glance at my phone screen every now and then, which isn't good in busy traffic.
Thank you for your video on the app, my main issue is certainly the voice cut off.
Wonder if the app team decided to make the app have excitement and almost cause being lost in a new area?

What i don't understand is if its GPS then why does it require an internet connection on my cellphone, when my GPS devices never had a problem using GPS without even having the ability to connect to the internet. Why cant cellphones just use GPS? It's false advertisement to call it GPS when its actually using the internet.

With offline maps and eSims you can’t go wrong.

Hi guys, I used to use this all the time, but during a recent trip to Spain every time I went off course, it did not correct itself! Very frustrating as had to keep stopping and re-entering my destination to get it to reroute. Any ideas why?

Really helpful even though I always use GM online with my Roaming. Having an offline map is good should the data not connect when ur in Florida etc 👍
