I can't get enough of music, as a whole, as a collective body of art, presented for all of us to dig through and find little gems and crystals. I honestly don't know where I'd be without it. I don't listen to any genres... I listen to music. Good music. And Yo La Tengo is more than good. :)
It warms my heart when a YLT anything breaks the 1M view mark... it's a crime how they're so unpopular in this day and age considering they've been around since the late 80s. They have achieved legendary status in the music industry and I wish them all the best. I had the pleasure of discovering them through Summer Sun about 7 years ago, been in love with them since.
I discovered Yo La Tengo around 2006 on Satellite Radio (portable XM device). Was right around the time my college sweetheart was dumping me and the next few years were very miserable and lonely. The song was “You Can Have it All”. They have been one of my fav bands ever since.
I love this video so much! It's like a beautiful yet sad cooking show with poetry between the lines. You must make more of these! Perhaps a dessert recipe! ♡
i was arrested not long ago for something related to my ex of 10 years while having dinner with my friend and my mother. my ex introduced me to tortilla soup and and taught me how to make it. still my favorite soup. this is incredibly beautiful and poignant .

I found Yo La Tengo thanks to Robot from Robot Dance Party! Robot has excellent taste in music. Not only is the music good, but there are also recipes in this video. Can't go wrong!
