On Saturday April 27, 2024 at MANDISA's Celebration of Life in Brentwood, TN. Mandisa's Father Tells What Led To Her Death despite speculation. LIVE from Brentwood Baptist Church in Tennessee filled with people coming together to celebrate the life of Mandisa. Mandisa was born on October 2, 1976, in Citrus Heights, California, and peacefully passed away in her residence in Nashville on April 18, 2024.Hundreds attended the memorial service in Brentwood Saturday morning, and an additional 11,500+ individuals streamed the service online. I had the opportunity to see Mandissa years ago. She shared her testimony during the concert. I always felt her heart and spirit through her music, but her testimony showed me a much deeper love for Jesus. She was an amazing person and inspired so many people.
When I heard she had Covid, I instantly believed the side effects of it were the cause of her death. I am a nurse and have known of several other fairly young people, who were otherwise healthy, pass after having Covid. There are many people who have struggled with depression for one reason or another. Depression does not equal self-harm. Mandissa had the joy of the Lord in her heart and Jesus conquers All. I know she is in His loving arms now. Her music and message will live on.

One comment I want to make about Mandissa besides I am sorry for her loss. Her song overcomer the Lord used greatly in my life when I was so sick hit the bottom. It was like GOD would play that song overcomer at the right moment. No song will ever replace it in my life. Great God and great women of God.

She was depressed and was very forthcoming about her dark struggles in so many videos and interviews. We can love the Lord, but we can still find ourselves in darkness. Whatever the cause of her death, I am so sorry this anointed woman and big voice is no longer with us. REST IN PEACE, MANDISA...No more chains holding you. I seen Mandesa at a women’s conference when she had just started out I believe, and she was so awesome her voice was beautiful and very powerful. This was in Portland Oregon. She must be up there singing with the Angels and we will miss that voice . God bless you for sharing a little bit about her with us.

In October of 2023, MANDISSA spoke wonderfully to all of us at the conference in Charlotte. She was singing and sharing and blessing us. What a blessing her enthusiasm for our Lord will continue to be. Praying for her family and friends.

I’m so sorry for the loss of this sweet woman. She is definitely in heaven. We will know what health ailment took her life while in heaven but Covid definitely can weaken the body. ❤ I enjoyed her concert in Wilkes at the Faith Fest and have several of her albums that have blessed me greatly. She lived a Victorious life upon salvation and her songs Over Comer, Stronger, and many others touched my life and spirit, as a Christian songwriter music artist myself.

I will never forget when she was on American Idol and the judges praised her and made a comment about “the church of Mandisa “and she winced in pain and told them NO you don’t understand. I believe the Lord brought her home as a reward for her faithful service
I saw Mandisa in concert a few times, the most recent being October in Lynchburg, VA. My daughter and DIL came with me. Their favorite speaker at this EWomen event was Mandisa! I wish I had let her know that she still spoke to people from all races and every generation. Praise Jesus; I will tell her one day!

Whatever his thoughts regarding "other than blacks" at her concerts, surely he finally understood just how many people she touched with her music. Music is a universal language. One of the greatest moments about Mandisa music I had the privilege to be a part of a church that went to a shelter for abused women and were able to dress them n put make- up n styled their hair and made a run way for all the ladies to feel empowered n beautiful as Overcomer was playing n I took there pic n developed them right there n framed them and we gifted them with there picture and celebrated with a great lunch ❤she truly blessed us I also had the privilege to see her in Tampa 2018

Once you are born again your name is written in the lambs book of life-shown in the book of Revelation in the bible. He said that’s what I think so doesn’t know but thinks she fell.
The detectives have said no foul play nor suspicious info. That says there was nothing suspicious about her death. NO gun involved, NO hanging involved, NO drugs in her system. What the autopsy will show though is did she hit her head when she fell and have an aneurism? Did she have a heart attack? Hopefully when the autopsy comes back, it will show specifically what medical crisis she was in. Praying for her precious family and close friends.
@@susiemartin3763 , since she lived alone, I wish she was checked on by any closest friend or family member everyday . Dad thought she fell but there’s really no substantial evidence. That’s why the detective couldn’t utter any word, till the the investigative report becomes available. I anticipate by next week, we’ll have a clue at least; we’re all awaiting. Autopsies aren’t hundred percent accurate either.
@@amiesmith7283 Only when the body is so decomposed, & there’s just not enough left to go by, are they not accurate. It will give an exact, or most likely cause, otherwise. Even multiple causes are unveiled w/autopsies.

My mother got shingles on her 80th birthday and was never the same after that. She died 4 months later on my birthday. I got my shingles shot after that.

Amen I have been trying to find some of her music to buy because I suffer from depression and I have all of my life she has a beautiful voice when I get way down I listen to gospel music that lifts your heart and spirit it makes you want to dance for Jesus for Jesus because from my depression gets bad I start looking for gospel music that is spiritual an upbeat where you don't want to do anything clap your hands and look up to God my daughter looked I said she couldn't find any of her music that they were sold out if there is anyone out there that can help me to get some of her music like wow 25 there's nothing more uplifting than gospel music I was raised Pentecostal and Church of God and I like all that spiritual holy stuff I don't know how to let you know how to get ahold of me put I would pay for her music she's just so beautiful inside and out even though that she has gone she is still beautiful inside and out
This is getting dragged out in a really weird type of way. If the family is not comfortable sharing the cause, they should just say that. I watched the entire celebration and felt icky the whole time because everyone was going on and on about everything but the big ole white elephant in the room. However she passed was indeed under the supervision of our sovereign Lord. But refusing to talk about it or acknowledge it is just creepy and strange. Just say no comment we’d like our privacy while we honor her life and mourn for our loss.
